Oh my friend I used to believe it was sad, but I was blind. Dead in my pornography, masturbation, pride. I am no longer a slave to those sins that never truly satisfied, but now I am a slave to Christ! Oh the greatest master He is! This is not about religion, but about Christ. Catholicism, Mormonism and all the "religions" will damn millions to Hell, but if you have Christ, you have everything. Not a bunch of steps and traditions to follow, but a relationship of eternal joy!
Faith alone does save you. As it is said "We are saved by faith alone, but faith is not alone, it has works." For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since... Romans 3:20a
THE MOST important thing for all true believers in Jesus Christ IS the preaching of the Gospel. We are keeping our eyes upon each other, brother fighting against brother, whilst the world is DYING! We have their blood on our hands if we do not share the gospel with them. They are your family, friends, and people around you. The day of judgment will come, and those who have known us for so long will ask "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!" We need to preach the Gospel!
the 'I' cannot be worthy, for the 'I' is depraved. All that is good in me is Him, including the Spirit that is progressively regenerating the 'I' because of Him.
I Love Truth and people who shout it out! It does come with a cost. I Love God so much and he is my breath, my heart beat. People are blind and in bondage and there is nothing they themselves can do about it because they don't SEE. I am glad someone is shouting out about prosperity preaching. God is Good and I thank GOD for men that have the courage to speak truth. We may not get it all right, but if you heart is after God he will show you ALL things.
You truly know if you have the Holy Spirit ,when you truly feel you are not worthy of the Holy Spirit. This is why all the glory goes to G-d . For only by His mercy may we receive the Holy Spirit. a humble servant to my Master, the Lord Jesus Christ
Amen God is truly watching over teachers like you Paul Washers, for only a man filled with the Holy Spirit speak out the truth in a world like this. God bless ❤
Brother Paul...he is the St Paul of our generation. I put him right alongside Moody, Wesley, and the old firebrands when it comes to preaching. Like Ravenhill said, most other preachers bore me.
Paul Washer does believe in seeking the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, but the bible does not teach tongues as evidence of such. You should watch the Ask Pastor Tim on Speaking in Tongues.
Salvation is by God's grace alone, through Faith alone in Christ alone. When that happens then immediately from that follows repentance. Look at "the kindness of God" in Titus 3:4 and what that is in the following verses, Titus 3:4-7. Then take that and look at Romans 2:4and , "...the kindness of God leads you to repentance..."
Salvation is by God's grace alone, through Faith alone in Christ alone. The apostle Paul's whole presentation of God's mercy and grace through faith alone in Christ begins in Romans 3:21 through the end of Romans 5. You have not understood God's grace, the gospel and God's justifying the ungodly apart from any works until you begin to ask the Questions the Apostle Paul anticipates his readers will ask in Romans 6:1.
@Seektruth1st Christ came here not for the righteous, but for sinners to repentance. I do believe in the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. All christians must be joiners and not soloists. Christians gather to form the body of Christ.
God's Word must tell them! Use the scriptures, let them try to prove what they are doing. Also as Matthew 7:20 says, you will know a tree by it's fruit... what are their fruits by doing what they do? other then self exhalation.
James wasnt trying to say its a combinations of works and faith that we are saved, because its already apparent works cant save us. Hes saying that the evidence of your faith will be shown in your works.
Looks like P. Washer is trying to literally divide the Word of God with his hands lol Great encouraging message as always. I can't find many other men used by God that convict me as much as Paul Washer! Grace be with you all....!
James insists upon the need for works in the lives of those who have already been justified by faith. Paul insists that no man can ever win justification through his own efforts while James demands that a man who already claims to stand in right relationship with God through faith must by a life of good works demonstrate (before men) that he has become a new creature in Christ. James is not at odds with Paul.
Thank you Lord for the life of this man….. He speak the truth by the guidance of your Holy spirit….. This guy explained thoroughly the power of the Holy spirit not blasphemy act of other evangelist acting as if they have the real power of the Holy Spirit just to show up………Thank you Lord…….
James is showing why and how, true, living faith always works (and that working merits NOTHING before God). He is fighting against dead orthodoxy and its tendency to abuse grace. The error James is fighting is faith without works; justification without sanctification; salvation without new life. God disaplines those who are His true children.
@AlmasiProductions Might I add that only Luke speaks of the thief and his repentance: Matthew,Luke and John mention and number the 2 thieves crucified next to Jesus though only Luke tells a story of the thieves speaking where the other 3 do not at all. Mark does not even say there were 2 yet both Mark and Matthew say he was reviled by those who were crucified with Jesus, no mention of a repentant thief
Well my friend it is not about what you believe but what the Bible teaches... If someone wants to disagree they need more then opinion but need scripture.
(Acts 8:15 KJV) "Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:" (Acts 8:16 KJV) "(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)" (Acts 8:17 KJV) "Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost."
His message falls short of explaining that there is a Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from regeneration by the Holy Spirit. It is the Baptism in the Holy Spirit - usually bestowed via the laying on of hands - which empowers the believer for specific service. All believers have the Holy Spirit residing within them - it is the very reason they beleive. But there is a Baptism in the Holy Spirit which consists of the Holy Spirit's coming UPON the believer unto supernatural gifts and boldness of witness.
Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent." (John 6:29) Who is doing the working here? God! "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8) "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." (John 3:36)
Justification Standing before God = saved by Faith apart from works (Romans 3:28 & 4:5) Justification Standing before Men = I will show you my faith by my works (James 2:18)
@Querster If you read Corinthians, Paul says that the gift of prophesy is much greater than the gift of tongues. In the last days, according to prophet Joel, men prophesy, not speak in tongues. Therefore, preaching and Bible study should be the most important, not speaking in tongues. "Miracles do not determine truth. It's the other way around" (Benny Hinn)
I encourage my calvinists brethren takimg example of brother Paul Washer to choose by 'their freewill' to pursue holiness 'willingly' because without living in holiness 'willingly by our own freewill' we will not see God either u believe this biblical truth or you believe in a 'lie' that you 'automatically' pursuing holiness producng fruits of holiness (30 , 60 or 100 folds) by pre-programmed predestination.
@lucy9359 Luke 10:25-28 And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26 He said to him, What is written in the law? What is your reading of it? 27 So he answered and said, You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself. 28 And He said to him, You have answered rightly; do this and you will live. Thats it.
(Acts 10:44 KJV) "While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word." (Acts 10:45 KJV) , because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 10:46 KJV) "For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,"
How? Do I seek God like a mad man until poof there is the preasence of God? I want this bold power to pray down strong hold and advance the kingdom of God, and to preach his Word. But How I know Seek and knock. Draw near. I cry out all the time. How?
That may prove difficult. For it seems their consciences have been seared. They teach many strange doctrines filled with great biblical truths which makes it hard to distinguish sometimes between truth from half truths and truths from lies.... But yes - keep me in prayer, please.
@seektruth1st If you read Acts chapter 2, tongues clearly means languages, not some gibberish. The phrase "speaking in tongues" is only found in the NIV and other modern versions. It is "speaking with tongues" in the KJV. Acts 2 mentions that the unbelievers clearly understood in their own language what the disciples were preaching. So it's not who can interpret what. There are principles in Bible interpretation that everyone should remember, such as contextual, grammatic, etc. Peace!
How do you know you have faith? "Did you receive the Spirit by hearing with faith or by the works of the law?" (Galatians 3:2) "For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law" (Romans 3:28) Verbs, nouns, whatever. Paul is placing saving faith as the antithesis of doing or working in any way. Faith is NOT working or "doing" for salvation at all- "He saved us, not on the basis of deeds (doing or any other verbs of any kind) which we have done" Titus 3:5
@Rhuanjl Jesus said all judgement is based on works, you are saved based on how you are judged. So when you quote Paul as saying otherwise you are quoting against Jesus...
@Seektruth1st My friend, if it was a works-based salvation, what about the thief on the cross with Christ Luke 23:42-43? You're telling me that he was saved because of his works? No, he was saved because He believed in Christ. I could/would never say that I was saved because of Christ and my efforts; rather, I am saved by Christ alone and serve Him because of my love for Him. I don't see how you can weigh one book over the other if it is ALL the inspired Word of God?
@lucy9359 I am not Jewish either, but Jesus was. Jesus did say, that not one jot or tittle will pass from the law until ALL is fulfilled. So you believe all has been fulfilled? Jesus also said heaven and earth will pass away before the law. Do you believe this has happened? Luke 2:25 has a man named Simeon with the Holy Spirit, this is while Jesus is still a child and by no means yet glorified. John the Baptist also had it before Jesus glorified. Yet the law was still in place.
@littlezombie I would agree that some "Christian" rock musics are of Satanic origin. However, we must be careful of labeling things. It is just like labeling Baptists as this and that and Pentecostals as this and that. We need to remember that not ALL of something is like the 'stereotype' we have in mind about that something. May God enlightening you with the Bible. Peace and be blessed!
@AlmasiProductions Nowhere in the Bible does Jesus say that judgement is based on faith. Matthew to Revelation Jesus says judgement is based on works, as Jesus was a jew, he understood that this was the case. I am sure you can find Paul saying faith alone is enough, though Paul preached this knowing that he would win more converts as it requires no effort in good works. How else do you think he prevailed to the point he is now quoted more than Jesus and has more books to his name than Jesus?
@lucy9359 Yes Jesus did say the pharisees were hypocrites yet he also said to the people that they must observe and obey what the pharisees taught., which was the Law of Moses. Jesus also told the people that their righteousness must exceed the scribes and pharisees. They might have been hypocrites yet he still held them in high regard. Just as you would agree with a pastors teachings yet you may disagree that he drinks beer on fridays. Jesus told people to observe the Pharisees teachings.
@JacobGboy Paul wasn't saying it doesn't exist, he was saying there's a lot of acting going on in churches, especially on TV or in health, wealth, and prosperity megachurches.
@Seektruth1st I'm not quoting him against Jesus. I'm quoting a portion of God's word that most firmly addresses your claim that salvation is through the works of man.
@TonberryKitchenKnife "Then Peter answered and said to Him, "See , we have left all and followed You.Therefore what shall we have?"So Jesus said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on TWELVE thrones, judging the TWELVE tribes of Israel. Jesus was a saviour for the Jews and Paul has no part in this number. You would think that in a book of prophecy youd hear of Paul prior.
@TonberryKitchenKnife Well good for you that you can admit that, not many do. I find it interesting that Peter needs to be corrected by Paul in a letter written by Paul, how convenient that none of the other apostles mention it. How about the dispute in galatians regarding Paul and James? Is Paul correct there also? It seems Paul is always right in his own letters, whereas the true apostles hardly find him worth a mention.
@TonberryKitchenKnife So what do you make of Paul confronting Peter with a dispute? Why does Paul feel he has the authority to criticise Peter? Peter lived with Jesus, Paul never knew him. So we have Paul 'correcting' a direct student of Jesus? If you learnt something at a school ad I never knew the teacher and came to correct you, would you listen to me? No, you would say, "I was in the class and met him, you did not"...and you would be correct in your argument. Its the same thing.
@dzindzichvilli Ha ha I am chilled...You Tube does not aggravate me, (unless it is slow in loading) Not much of an argument really, I simply told the person they will not find a statement from Jesus saying people will be judged on 'faith' Though there are a number of judgements on works. Judgement is what will ultimately be the determination of where one will go after it....
@AlmasiProductions Though Jesus has no books to his name anyway, we have 4 gospels with his teachings yet people much prefer to quote Romans etc as it makes a thorough effort in explaining the law of the Old Testament is dead and finished. interestingly enough, Jesus never once says that this is the case, he did not once say that the law is over with. In fact, he said heaven and earth would pass away before one jot of the law would end. In other words, it is there til the end of time.
Yes, we know that but I'm not too sure sfpkent understands it. I'm responding to something sfpkent said earlier in this thread, not to anything brother P.Washer said.
@TonberryKitchenKnife No. Paul was not a replacement for Judas as Acts shows us: Acts 1:24-26 24 And they prayed and said, You, O Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which of these two You have chosen 25 to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. 26 And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias. And he was numbered with the eleven apostles. Again, more evidence for Paul not being required.
Message to Mr. Paul Washer, although this message is pretty good... I'd like to ask you... Have you deliberately not accepted Acts 2:38? Because you definately speak as if you have a conviction for the truth. How much false can be in a truth in order for it not to be considered truth anymore? Colossians 2:2-12...
@lucy9359 I do not know why you changed the topic to circumcision but I am glad you did. Now I will show you why it is wrong of Paul to abolish circumcision. GENESIS 13:14 He who is born in your house and he who is bought with your money MUST be circumcised, and My covenant shall be in your flesh for an EVERLASTING covenant. 14 And the uncircumcised male child, who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that person shall be cut off from his people; he has BROKEN My covenant. CONT...
We need to ask this question.... is that biblical? Would we see the Apostles doing such? No. To say one is exhausting an entire vocabulary in prayer.... that story exalts a man, not Christ.... prayer and all things are done to exalt Christ.
@lucy9359 Well the Bible might say alot of things as it does, but at the end of the day, I have quoted Jesus and his words while you resort to other people. Are you a follower of Jesus or Paul? Jesus quite clearly says all judgement is based on works..you can't deny it. Jesus story of the good samaritan is based on works. Jesus long speech on judgement in Matthew 25: 31-46 is all based on compassion through deeds. Jesus said repeatedly to inherit life you must obey the commandments.
In the Bible a "tongue of fire" was actually seen above the head of those at pentecost. Why do we not see the same "tongue of fire" above anyones head today? Same reason donkeys don't talk and neither do snakes.
@Querster Tongues were as a sign to non believers. Gibberish does not cut it obviously. "when we speak in tongues we build up ourselves" Exactly my point. It does nothing but pump up your image that you appear "holier than thou". Though I respect your patient response, the Bible says tongues are meant as a sign and no more than 3 should speak at once. How many churches all babble this nonsense in the 100's with no interpretation. It is not a sign of God.
@lucy9359 Truth is Lucy, Christians hold alot of animosity toward Jesus message of deeds. Why? because it can be done, and is done by most of the worlds population, thank God! It is done without being a member of any religious cult and people do good out of their heart, not because God threatens them with damnation if they don't. Christians even look like they are living off a script in their 'good deeds' as though it is rehearsed. Jesus did not come for the righteous only the sinners.
@Seektruth1st "Having faith is not what inherits eternal life." We are saved by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Works is an EVIDENCE of faith; not a means of salvation. We follow the commandments and walk with Christ because of LOVE, not so we get a ticket into heaven; that is what James meant that "faith without works is dead." If it was a works-based, then Christianity would be a religion, like Islam, Mormonism, and etc., which men are saved by themselves, and not God. He saved us!
@TonberryKitchenKnife Well it is not so much passages as the whole preaching in general. James and the first followers of Jesus were teaching works through faith. Paul preferred faith and faith alone. The benefit of this doctrine is that it requires little effort without emphasis on doing anything. Sure Paul makes a few references to works, but no where near James or most importantly Jesus for that matter. You must bear in mind, how can Paul be correct about everything and Jesus elect in error?
We've turned a pagan holiday into Christmas. If you celebrate Christmas and use the season to proclaim the glory of Jesus does that mean you are doing something satanic? Rock music isn't exclusively the domain of Satan, Just listen to a great Christian rock band like Kutless.
You are also confusing the doctrine of salvation with the doctrine of the assurance of salvation. You can not look to anything but Christ for salvation, you can only be assured of salvation by a growing love and hope in Christ by the working & teaching of the Holy Spirit. That will in turn lead to obedience. You will find yourself "doing" without thinking about it from a heart filled with love for Christ Jesus.
@TonberryKitchenKnife No, i showed you enough to question his position as he calls himself 'apostle': I have shown he is not of the 12 at all. He is not the replacement of Judas. He is not the mouth to the gentiles. He was referred to as brother, not apostle. Many were 'brothers' His 'vision' is inconsistent. The one reference you give does not endorse him as a teacher, but brother. Did you even refer to the divorce teaching of Paul and Jesus to see the obvious difference? Obviously not.
@dzindzichvilli No it IS so....Jesus never says there is a judgement on faith....maybe you can get back to me when you find one reference that says so....
@TonberryKitchenKnife 1 Peter 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak NO guile: 2 Corinthians 12:16 But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile. So Peter says let no one speak guile yet Paul admits he caught some people with guile. Preaching and converting via deception is a no no on any level.
@AlmasiProductions Well if salvation is based on our final judgement then it is according to works. This is not my teaching, it is the Bible and Jesus saying so. The thief on the cross is told that he will join the Lord in paradise on that day. This seems to suggest that people do go directly to heaven or hell upon death though there are other teachings that suggest otherwise. The thief was saved because he was SINCERE in his repentance which Jesus knew....nothing to do with washing in blood
@lucy9359 You are saying the Law has ended because you have replaced Jesus with Paul as your saviour. Jesus never said the law was ended, he said "scripture cannot be broken"-
Well I hope she explained what you said in great detail.Saying "i understood it" doesn't prove anything. Besudes, The Bible says that tongues is a sign for NON BELIEVERS to show evidence of the Holy Spirit. So if she is a believer there is no point in her understanding it anyway. What purpose does it serve to pray in your "mother tongue" amongst another believer anyway? Might as well pray in English, it is of no benefit to pray in another language otherwise.
@theocratickingdom30 Actually my comment really has nothing to do with the Holy Spirit @ all; although that would be a whole other subject in itself. I just feel that he seems sincere, but I can't see how people can preach for so many years and yet come to a conclusion that Acts 2:38 is unnecessary! 2Tim.3:7"Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." So I don't think that 1 does not learn it. I believe 1 rejects it!
@TonberryKitchenKnife Well conveniently enough, the verse you quote is the only verse that refers to Paul in the entire New Testament that Paul himself or Luke didn't write. In this verse Peter refers to Paul as 'beloved brother' not an apostle. They had many brothers and sisters. Where as apostles are referred to throughout the N.T accordingly. Jesus chose 12 apostles...not an obscure 13 that does not fit into the prevalent 12 throughout the Bible.
@TonberryKitchenKnife No, an evil work is an evil work. Ripping someone off is an evil work, and it will be judged. Giving someone a house without faith in Jesus is NOT an evil work it is a good work, and will also be judged. ALL judgement is according to works. By judgement justification for salavation. Just believing is not enough at all. Jesus told the person after the good samaritan story to go and do likewise, he did not mention faith either.
@lucy9359 it was not because they did not accept Jesus as their lord and saviour. Jesus had not died and was walking the earth. If you believe jesus sent the Holy Spirit after to his disciples then the Pharisees could not receive it.Even though many Christians ignore the fact that the Holy spirit was alive and well and people had it before Jesus ever came. Jesus issue with the Pharisees was that they excluded the outcasts of society and only welcomed their own. Jesus taught God is for everyone.
@lucy9359 PAUL SAYS: Galatians 5:2-3 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. 3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. So God declares circumcision as EVERLASTING, which means for ever. yet Paul seems to think he can break the eternal covenant from God. More evidence Paul was creating a religion that was easy to follow. It appealed to the gentiles that they could keep their foreskin.
In the above statement u still mixed "faith with action...=...saved". You still seem to be confusing two different issues & its best to be redundantly overly clear on this topic. Justification & salvation r by faith ONLY then, apart from salvation, (but flowing from it) from true faith (which is a gift from God) there is a demonstration of works before men in various ways. U obey & are lead in a relationship with the Lord through His disciplining hand & progressive sanctification in your life.
"through the obedience of the One (Jesus) the many will be made righteous".(Romans 5:19) Not your obedience, but Christ's. What Paul goes on to say in Romans 6 is that you ALREADY ARE RIGHTEOUS IN GOD'S EYES through the finished work of Christ, now act like it!!! The True Gospel = we are accepted therefore we obey False Religion = we obey therefore we are accepted
Healing and speaking in tongues are a manifestation of the holy spirit, not blasphemy. I really like Paul Washer but he puts limits on Gods gifts some times. When the gifts wrote about in Acts end is when Gods people are in Heaven. What does it mean that they will deny the power there of in the last days? Im open to any scripture that I may learn different. I seek the truth.
How can this guy say that jews need not be saved? Jesus said he was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Jesus was a Jew. he told the people their righteousness must exceed that of the pharisees and most of all, which many people do not know, or simply ignore, is that Jesus told the people to OBSERVE and DO what the pharisees taught...which was Torah. He only said do not be hypocrites like them, other than that they were to follow their teachings.
@lucy9359 So let me get this straight. You say that the Bible is only understood by those who are born again, yet to be norn again you must first read and understand the Bible. But according to you the Bible cannot be understood unless you are born again. Yet we can't be born again until we read the Bible and understand it, yet we can't understand it until we a re born again, but we can't be born again until we read and understand it, but we.....ever heard of circular logic? catch 22?
@TonberryKitchenKnife Matthew 16:27: For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. Revelations 20:12-13 Even in final judgement all raised are judged according to their works. As you can see here, from the beginning to the end of the N.T, judgements are based on works, there is no such thing as a judgement of faith. Even in Jesus rather large speech in Matt 25:31-46 is entirely based on works...not faith.
@Msahle1095 Well it seems interesting to me all the people I have met who say they speak in tongues have no evidence of improving themselves spiritually or morally, this being the self edification of the tongues. And if it is a personal experience only then it should be done in private only. It also says there needs to be at least 2 interpreters present otherwise there is to be silence. I have seen it first hand enough to know it is nonsense, it is easily copied.
I attend a bible study. Where people scream and shake like worms. I know its an evil spirit but they think it's the Holy Spirit. How will I ever tell them that?
Oh my friend I used to believe it was sad, but I was blind. Dead in my pornography, masturbation, pride. Not a bunch of steps and traditions to follow, but a relationship of eternal joy!
Faith alone does save you. As it is said "We are saved by faith alone, but faith is not alone, it has works."
For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since... Romans 3:20a
AMEN! God bless Paul Washer and every other true preacher of God!
The day of judgment will come, and those who have known us for so long will ask "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!" We need to preach the Gospel!

powerful video amen God bless you keep up the good work for God's kingdom and glory Jesus Christ is Lord Amen
You truly know if you have the Holy Spirit ,when you truly feel you are not worthy of the Holy Spirit. This is why all the glory goes to G-d . For only by His mercy may we receive the Holy Spirit.
a humble servant to my Master, the Lord Jesus Christ
Amen, brother. Thank you for giving me courage.
Amen God is truly watching over teachers like you Paul Washers, for only a man filled with the Holy Spirit speak out the truth in a world like this. God bless ❤
Thank you for this short message
Paul Washer has the Holy Spirit in him, Thank God for real men!! who preach the TRUTH !!!! AMEN
Blessed is His Name.
a servant for Lord Jesus
James wasnt trying to say its a combinations of works and faith that we are saved, because its already apparent works cant save us.
Hes saying that the evidence of your faith will be shown in your works.
Looks like P. Washer is trying to literally divide the Word of God with his hands lol
Great encouraging message as always.
"I'm probably gonna get in trouble when this goes on the UA-cam."
Hahaha. I love Paul Washer. :)
Amen and Amen!!! Praise the blessed name of MESSIAH YESHUA!!! Amen. VERY powerful message, thank you for this. YAHWEH bless you. 8^)>
@AlmasiProductions Might I add that only Luke speaks of the thief and his repentance:
Matthew,Luke and John mention and number the 2 thieves crucified next to Jesus though only Luke tells a story of the thieves speaking where the other 3 do not at all. Mark does not even say there were 2 yet both Mark and Matthew say he was reviled by those who were crucified with Jesus, no mention of a repentant thief
Amen!
Well my friend it is not about what you believe but what the Bible teaches... If someone wants to disagree they need more then opinion but need scripture.
(Acts 8:15 KJV) "Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:"
(Acts 8:16 KJV) "(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)"
(Acts 8:17 KJV) "Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost."
Good video!
So, you judge him in one short clip? Have you tested him in all his many many many other teachings?
Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent." (John 6:29) Who is doing the working here? God!
"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8)
"He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." (John 3:36)
Justification Standing before God = saved by Faith apart from works (Romans 3:28 & 4:5)
Justification Standing before Men = I will show you my faith by my works (James 2:18)
@ConductorsServant You are totally right bro! Thanks man
i was wondering does paul washer believe in seeking baptism of holy ghost and "tongues as INITIAL EVIDENCE" of recieving.. followed by holiness?
@Querster
If you read Corinthians, Paul says that the gift of prophesy is much greater than the gift of tongues. In the last days, according to prophet Joel, men prophesy, not speak in tongues. Therefore, preaching and Bible study should be the most important, not speaking in tongues. "Miracles do not determine truth. It's the other way around" (Benny Hinn)
Real talk.
Amen
@lucy9359
Luke 10:25-28 And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
26 He said to him, What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?
27 So he answered and said, You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.
28 And He said to him, You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.
Thats it.
(Acts 10:44 KJV) "While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word."
(Acts 10:45 KJV) , because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost."
(Acts 10:46 KJV) "For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,"
How? Do I seek God like a mad man until poof there is the preasence of God? I want this bold power to pray down strong hold and advance the kingdom of God, and to preach his Word. But How I know Seek and knock. Draw near. I cry out all the time. How?
In one of Paul's sermons he act talks about going into the mountains and throwing rocks at God 😅
@Seektruth1st What about Ephesians 2:8-9?
The presence of God will kill those who don't really KNOW Him.
Currently James or John.
How can the very presence of God kill us if it is Him that is in us?
🙏🙏🙏
That may prove difficult. For it seems their consciences have been seared. They teach many strange doctrines filled with great biblical truths which makes it hard to distinguish sometimes between truth from half truths and truths from lies.... But yes - keep me in prayer, please.
@seektruth1st
If you read Acts chapter 2, tongues clearly means languages, not some gibberish.
Peace!
@neilbubbachuck YES.................
How do you know you have faith? "Did you receive the Spirit by hearing with faith or by the works of the law?" (Galatians 3:2)
"For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law" (Romans 3:28)
Verbs, nouns, whatever.
@littlezombie
I would agree that some "Christian" rock musics are of Satanic origin.
@TonberryKitchenKnife
"Then Peter answered and said to Him, "See , we have left all and followed You.Therefore what shall we have?"So Jesus said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on TWELVE thrones, judging the TWELVE tribes of Israel.
@dzindzichvilli Ha ha I am chilled...You Tube does not aggravate me, (unless it is slow in loading)
Not much of an argument really, I simply told the person they will not find a statement from Jesus saying people will be judged on 'faith'
Though there are a number of judgements on works.
Judgement is what will ultimately be the determination of where one will go after it....
I'm just wondering, who does the posting of the comments for the Illbehonest user?
Paul was not a replacement for Judas as Acts shows us:
Acts 1:24-26 24 And they prayed and said, You, O Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which of these two You have chosen 25 to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.
@Littlezombie you have denied the Holy Spirit it seems thats not a forgivable one
@Querster Tongues were as a sign to non believers. Gibberish does not cut it obviously.
"when we speak in tongues we build up ourselves"
Exactly my point.
@Seektruth1st "Having faith is not what inherits eternal life."
We are saved by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ.
@TonberryKitchenKnife No, i showed you enough to question his position as he calls himself 'apostle':
I have shown he is not of the 12 at all.
He is not the replacement of Judas.
He is not the mouth to the gentiles.
He was referred to as brother, not apostle. Many were 'brothers'
His 'vision' is inconsistent.
The one reference you give does not endorse him as a teacher, but brother.
Did you even refer to the divorce teaching of Paul and Jesus to see the obvious difference? Obviously not.
thank you for subtitle i am russian with sub i can understend better
@dzindzichvilli No it IS so....Jesus never says there is a judgement on faith....maybe you can get back to me when you find one reference that says so....
@TonberryKitchenKnife
1 Peter 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak NO guile:
2 Corinthians 12:16 But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.
@lucy9359 PAUL SAYS:
Galatians 5:2-3 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.
"through the obedience of the One (Jesus) the many will be made righteous".(Romans 5:19)
Not your obedience, but Christ's. What Paul goes on to say in Romans 6 is that you ALREADY ARE RIGHTEOUS IN GOD'S EYES through the finished work of Christ, now act like it!!!
The True Gospel = we are accepted therefore we obey
False Religion = we obey therefore we are accepted
Yet we can't be born again until we read the Bible and understand it, yet we can't understand it until we a re born again, but we can't be born again until we read and understand it, but we.....ever heard of circular logic?
catch 22?
@TonberryKitchenKnife
Matthew 16:27: For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.
