Why would the turn positive on y=-x I get that both are negative but when I do my homework I can’t figure out which one should be positive and negative the rule is turning both numbers negative

hi! I know this might be late alr but remember that a (-)(-) will be positive while (+)(-) will become negative if that makes sense. If the number is originally negative, it will become positive and vice versa.

no, for 180 degrees rotation, you are going to flip the sign. for example, to rotate point (8,-3) 180 degrees, change it to (-8,3)
