  • PANDANGGO SA BÚLIG
    (Bocaue, Bulacan)
is a dance performed by mudfish fishermen who interpreted mudfish fishing using familiar props like paddles, salakab or fish traps and conical hats with tiny oil lamps perched on the top. The pandanggo sa bulig is the fishermen's way of expressing gratitude to the Holy Cross, otherwise known as Poong Sta. Cruz ng Wawa for the blessings given by the river and as way of supplication for a more abundant fish catch.
