Grandparents ko noon nasa early 50s pa lang nagretire na. Maaga kasi sila banat sa trabaho. Sa madalas na pagkakasakit nila noon sa stress na rin siguro sa business, sabi nila enjoy na nila buhay nila baka mamatay daw sila hindi man lang naenjoy pinaghirapan. While doing business, nakapagpatayo sila apartments sa QC and Baguio. Imagine, namatay lolo ko 95 and lola ko buhay pa til now 94. Yung portion ng kita sa apartments na pinundar nila ang nag sustain sa kanila for 4 decades na hindi nagtratrabaho. Work, Invest and Retire Early 😊👍

I retired being a seafarer 2 years ago (Dec 2017) at the age of 41. It has a good income, but too much pressure to work onboard a merchant ship. I had my early retirement last month after serving the company for 14 years. I'm 55 and I never regret my decision. In fact, I should have retired at 50. I'll be using my money to go back to school, take up piano lessons once more, and travel. I have health issue - hypertension, so I guess quitting my job, which causes stress, would lengthen my lifespan. So, no regrets.

Dito sa switzerland binago na at tinaas na nila yong age for retirement.. Basta ako ang mindset ko at goal ngayon basta 45yo ang gusto ko to retire. Mag 40 ako dis yr. Actually pwede na ako mag retire ngayon. Pero kaya kopa magwork savings pako more. Nag start ako nag invest at d age of 30. Kaya worth it yong nagawa ko talaga. Kaya pa easy2 nalang ako ngayon.. di nako pressure sa pagwork at di na 100%. At di ako natatakot mawalan ng work since 4yrs ago. Kasi invest talaga sa real estate ang ginawa ko. Kaya advise ko talaga sa mga bata pa mag invest kaagad as yong as you are kasi napakasarap po isipin b4 u reach 40 di kana pressure sa pagwowork. Positive lang at focus sa goal mo. Naglilinis lang ako ng kubeta at nagwork sa hotel bilang housekeeping pero nabuo ko ang goal ko sa loob ng 7yrs ko sa pagwork. Ngayon mga bahay ko pinapaupahan ko at nag iincome ako ng 70 - 90k/mo..kaya yong work ko ngayon ay is for savings nalang.. GODBless sa atin lahat.. gusto koparin manood sau sir chinky kasi marami parin akong matutunan at naiinspired ako lage. Kahit na marami na akong nagawa..kaya keep on dreaming lang guys at workhard din..

it's easy to decide to retire early if you are supporting only yourself, but with a family to feed and children to support until college, retire early is not an option for me.
depende sa path you have, for me I work as an employee for 17 years with sidelines, nung na realize ko na na kya k na i full time ang sideline k then literally my earnings is astronomical so at age of 42 to 43 pwede na ako partial retire with good passive income, for example un MP2 na nag bibigay ng 6.5% avg interest and then time deposit ng digital banks na 4-5.2%, by that alone I can earn so much i dont need to work. I wonder what am I going to do during retirement? I did a lot of traveling as a young person. Maybe I will do more traveling. It's a great feeling to be simple with less stress.

Yung calculation mo sir chinky, Rather than ipon lang, invest the 7m or kahit 3.5m sa sobrang safe at basic na high yield savings fund(bank of mkti 5 prcnt ata/ lupa na papaupa or vanguard smp 500 na more than 10 prcnt annually. Matic yan kung 3m lang invest mo d gagalaw pera mo ng d nababawasan ipon mo. 10 prcnt of 3m is 300k annually. kahit lupa lang na 13k a month rent. Wag itambak pera ng walang kinikita.
Projected 30 yrs from now? Kulang ang 20k monthly dahil sa inflation, kaya taasan konti cguro mga 25-30k monthly 😊
