- I was looking for a bike shop in West London while I was waiting for my flight and stumbled across BikeSoup.
Had a really good chat with the boss, I was quite impressed with the setup of the place and the friendly nature of the staff.
So I decided to make a video to help other cyclists find the place. If you are in the area check it out and tell them I sent you. 😂

Some shops do offer coffee and snacks, but if they know you (like me) and they know you're not gonna spend a lot, they usually don't even bother to offer me anything!😔

Reginald , I would love to see you ride one of those Bromptons at 6:30😉 . The electric belt drive bike would be handy commuting if it were not made of carbon fibre ( potentially expensive in a crash ) . For me that would have to go up 20%+ slopes to be viable. However the IGH and belt would get rid of the waxing and oiling issues that your channel is stirring !
That’s true. 😁 I like Brampton bikes, but as of yet never needed one. I have tried folding bikes, quite twitchy. 🙂
@@reginaldscot165 Small wheels don't glide so well over potholes and the gyroscopic inertia is lower than on a road bike. Be glad you've not tried this ua-cam.com/video/TNKZwwgg8yM/v-deo.html . Would have been even more fun if Hambini had tried it on his Cervelo , especially with that headset and brake setup ! As you can guess I am not a Hambini fan.

@Reginald, would you buy any bike from this shop? It sells mainstream Carbon bikes with disc brakes😂 and E-bikes!
I think the Brompton might be your only choice since it’s metal and has rim brakes. It is a good bike for what it is meant to do!
To be fair I wouldn’t buy any bike from any bike shop… but that’s only because I tend to build my own frames up nowadays and not many shops sell what I like, so normally I go directly to the frame maker.
But, they do have some rim bikes and the reality of the industry is most customers now (because of marketing propaganda) ask for disc and if they want to survive that’s what you must sell. 🤷🏻♂️
But, I still wish them the best and no reason you couldn’t just go on your rim bike and have something to eat there. 😁👍🏻
