That route at 11:17 was sick. This kid has stop on a dime ability and just knows how to get open. His skills will translate very well to the nfl. Once the Browns get him in the weight room, he can def become a weapon for them.
Didn't see to much tape or highlights of him but 2 things jumped to my attention watching it, he always places 2 hands on the ball i mean for every play, and the routes they looked clean af... He reminds me of Brian Hartline or Jarvis Landry
I honestly believe thrash is what they thought they were trading for in elijah moore from the jets. He can affect all three levels and take the top off the defense.
@@jameshoops10 Most football fans would probably have no clue what he was speaking about unless their favorite teams run it often enough to be familiar with the concept.
He was way more intrigued with him then he ever was on Jerry Jeudy. Same team... we'll see how good he is at scouting players. Was definitely a HOF talent on the field.
During draft someone comp him to Jalen Hyatt who was picked one spot before the browns picked his vol teammate Cedric Tillman but i believe they were after Hyatt so glad they got what they were after
Steve Smith was pretty high on Ced Tillman too. I still believe Tillman can be a valuable player in this offense. Jeudy, Tillman & Thrash (our young core of WRs) all bring a little different skillset to the WR room which is what it needed. Seemed like for years we just had a bunch of 6’0” 185 lb receivers with avg speed that couldn’t creat separation or high point a ball. Call away was the only one who showed promise on the field in his rookie season but he was another JG. Now we have options. Just need them to meet their potential. I don’t have much faith in our WR Coach unfortunately. Not sure how he survived the position coaching changeover this off season. He should’ve been the first to go IMO. Guy hasn’t coached a single player up since coming here.
Think Amari will not get extended. Just seeing these young bucks coming through, Browns will have a great young WR room. Tillman, Thrash, Moore, Jeudy. Browns low key building a nice franchise who can be playoff contenders consistently. Unsure about SB. Comes down to Watson.
Jack Plummer was a glorified game manager to a fault.. there was so much more that Louisville offense could have done that was handcuffed by his play. Thrash would of been at least day 2 if Jack could of did just a bit more
I saw some Browns fan saying he's just another Anthony Schwartz. If you think that you know nothing about football. Actually do some research before you say something. Thrash is Jerry Rice compared to Anthony Schwartz. Schwartz was only a speed specialist. Had no route running ability whatsoever and horrible hands. Love watching Steve Smith dissect WRs. I wonder if any NFL front offices have approached him to be a scout.
Hopefully this kid pans out for them. Thye've drafted several WRs the past few years and none of them have done much. Schwartz was a flop, David Bell hasn't done much. Tillman was not good his rookie year. They really need to have this Thrash kid step up for them.
He was limited by his QB at louisville. Jack Plummer was 🗑️. He also had a hand injury later in season rhat contributed to drops. He was out there as a decoy later in season
If they were related, I think it would be on a lot of scouting reports because family lineage is a positive trait in the NFL, and I initially (months ago) wondered if it was James Thrash son, but like you stated, found it not to be true.
Jamari Thrash…projected to be drafted in the 5th round. High production, but small hands with a high drop rate this past season. I see him as a J.A.G. to a low end contributor on a team.
@@thatfantasynetwork132 his hand was banged up last season and you know that yet you still harping on his drops … just say you don’t like kid if Steve smith say he nice he nice
Just because he ran more routes at Georgia state doesn't mean he was being coached better because running every route as a teenager could actually hurt you more than help because your thinking about too much. The fewer the routes, the better because you can master them.
Maybe he will be ok, that is up until he gets crunched for the first time in the NFL. He has a small frame and won't last long. This will probably be yet ANOTHER wasted draft pick by AB. He's getting good at drafting and signing free agent mediocre players.

Antonio Brown 2.0 Welcome to Cleveland Young Bull! Go Browns!
Chill
I hope lol
Let’s hope lol. But he does remind me of AB with his body type and the way he moves when he runs his routes
Put That Shit On
as long as he has it between the ears I’m in but AB turned into a nut
When Steve smith sr likes someone, you know you got a good one. Andrew Berry and that scouting department are doing their homework
i sure hope they are its their job lol
They haven’t drafted a WR worth a damn, yet. Hopefully that changes. I’m not sold on Jeudy at all.
Berry and the scouting department are awful and you know it.
What games u been watching lol@@thacryinggame
Watching bro go from rec ball to being brought up in these conversations is beautiful
He’s Cleveland swag. Love it. Dawg gonna eat
Steve your hat collection is 🔥🔥
I love your break downs to get it from a receiver's point great content thanks.
Welcome to the Dawg Pound! Looking forward to a long productive career!
Thrash is the perfect fit for Stefanski's system. Browns have quietly become a sneaking good team.
sneaky good?…. bro we were injured all year and dropped the best teams in the league while starting backups… yeah sneaky
everyone knows about the browns
@@larkinjarrett No, they don’t. When people think of Cleveland, they think of 0-16. It’s a good time to be a Browns fan, finally.
Steve has sent the cryptic msg to Juedy😂😂saying Thrash is better than you

there's actually still hits in the nfl?
Steve Smith likes every WR he talks about
Is this James Thrash son, who use to play for my Redskins/Commanders?
No
Dude I hope so bad I get to wear a thrash jersey for years. Id be so happy
We will see. I certainly hope S2 is a prophet….Truly a Browns fan for life!
As a Browns fan, I'm glad to hear they got it right with this WR, Schwartz was a bust, and this guy will make up for that pick...Great Breakdown 💯

It's a reason teams pick Smiths brain on wideouts
He’s ight. Our qb was just kinda trash at Louisville. Our offense ran thru our star rb
I think that's what hurt Thrash and the other WRs. Plummer really limited the passing game.

I think all Browns fans were surprised Chad O'Shea survived the assistant turnover. He has literally not developed a single WR in 4 seasons.
@@negadiv6306 I completely agree. They have to give these young WRs reps to prove & improve what they can do on the field.
Tillman was pretty impressive after the catch. His problem last year was just not being in the right place.
