You probably need a clipper with detachable blades bc wahl clippers are more for human bc and cant hold tension so your clippers are just pushing hair away. The tension on a detachable blade is on the blade and u can use different sizes. So they wont push hair away as bad.

The block is how not to do it as it results if a flat grind, the disc is actually a very flat cone and produces a concave. When he does the rub test it produced a curved shadow of high spots on the end which is what the blades required to be offering the best results. Nebraska blades and a Swiss company make these sharpeners but I think his is not theirs as his has diamonds as the grinding media, the others use aluminium oxide grits
you never let the cam focus on the blade long enough so we could see what you were talking about, and the way you explained it I would have to have experience sharpening blades already. Was the intent of this vid "don't even try to DIY, send them to me I'm the pro"? Do you have any vids that are about teaching diyers how to sharpening on their own?
@@popparock6506 the video shows the difference between a professionally sharpened clipper blade vs a blade that's sharpened flat. This video was made specifically do to the increasing volume of blades our business was receiving at the time that had been sharpened flat and couldn't be restored. You could definitely diy it, but to do it properly and achieve longevity on the edge produced, you would need a stack of cash and plenty of free hours to practice/train yourself.

I offer 48 hours Monday through Friday turn around. The prices are on the website also. And thanks for watching
Can sharpening make my cheap clipper work better? I bought a secondhand Wahl to trim my cat, and it just slides over her fur. It hardly cuts anything. She’s a fluffy cat with very fine hairs, and sanitary trims are $50 plus a car ride she hates.
You probably need a clipper with detachable blades bc wahl clippers are more for human bc and cant hold tension so your clippers are just pushing hair away. The tension on a detachable blade is on the blade and u can use different sizes. So they wont push hair away as bad.
Where can I purchase just the wheel
Hello I'm sorry they are not ready to be distributed but thank you for watching. I'll keep you posted
Wherd i can buy this machine in malaysia

What kind of disc is? You dont use any abrassive like aluminium oxide??
We use 1500 Diamond abrasive
@@cloudsdiamondsharpening3973 dammmn thats sick no wonder you dont use any oil and abrassive, I have a wheel but I use aluminium oxide
@@milessecret7318 aluminum oxide has its use. Diamond allows the ability to sharpen any blade on the market.
@@cloudsdiamondsharpening3973 yeah, for grooming its very good, but for barbers not so much, I looking something to get wahl blades get a full result, aluminium oxide works good but not like I want

@@cloudsdiamondsharpening3973 i mean it gets hot like a phone charger no more
@@hermestri4593 is it cordless? And gets warm while charging?
@@cloudsdiamondsharpening3973 No it is a corded one is the color pro Wahl, gets hot/warm like a phone charger , the blades dont, its new , it doesnt really bother me but i dont know if maybe something is not working properly

You have taught me something! That I need to send my blades to you! Thanks for the video Nick. (my cheap clippers are probably not worth sharping...LOL)

Hey Man Right
Podrías ayudarme a hacer mi máquina de afilado?
I understand man thanks anyway 🙂 I don't see you sharpening trimmer blades
I sharpen trimmer blades on the same wheel
I tell ya what, I learned how to wreck blades by watching another guy do it with sand paper. 😂😂😭
I've been receiving a lot of blades in the past few weeks that were ruined from being sharpened on a stone/block, so I figured the video might help. Thanks for watching!
I did the same you not the only one i will join you in that group 😄😄😄😉
Iam definitely hitting you up my Oster fast feeds are acting up...😭💯
Thanks for watching! Check out our website for more information on sharpening and repairs @ Cloudsdiamondsharpening.com
68.5 blades per day assuming you took no days off is a lot. 😯
I can do 25 blades an hour. How did you come up with your number? So if I only work 3 hours a day that would be 75 a day and I work 8 hours a day
I'm kinda lost here with your video on sharpening your clippers blades because you did use the block and then the sharpening wheel

Sharpening clipper blades properly requires the right machinery and a lot of practice and experience to perfect. You could definitely diy it, but to do it properly and achieve longevity on the edge produced, you would need a stack of cash and plenty of free hours to practice/train yourself.
😢how much Rupees in india
Granularity 1500 You also use the wheel
Our wheel isn't coated, but we redistribute the charge the same as you would using oxide. Yes, 1500.
