The defensive potential of OKC is going to be insane. You could run Dort, Caruso, Wallace, Chet, and Hartenstein. And rest 2 of your top players, while still fielding 4 guys that can shoot 45% from three.
Two of those are above 40 and two are high 30’s, still great, and your point is still relevant. They have the most flexibility of pretty much any roster in the NBA. It’s crazy.

@@jaceking5938 honestly it’s hard for me to disagree a total amount because of my team. I am from Oklahoma and we embraced the Thunder immediately and the whole state fell in love like I’ve never seen. The Thunder is the only pro team in Oklahoma, and the other biggest show in town is college football - which has a passionate rivalry and the state is pretty split on support. So when the Thunder got here and the whole state could pour its support behind one team, it was (pardon the pun) electric. I don’t feel like we “stole” the Sonics’ legacy. OKC has always been pretty open about not counting the Seattle ‘79 championship as our own. We hardly/if ever even go pack to Payton and Kemp when talking about franchise records or greats. Everything pretty much starts with our move to OKC. So the OP’s overall point is decent to me because I don’t want Seattle’s legacy, it’s not fair to them.
Wouldn't be surprised but the team has to have a 2023 Celtics run or those GSW/Heat regular season run. To get 3 or 4 All Stars, your team has to be much better than everyone else. There are players who have better individual stats that get left off the All Star roster every year, but those who "replaced" them are usually on teams who are head and shoulders above other teams.
