- Join me for a 1 hour virtual walking tour in Shibuya - one of the most famous and coolest destinations in Tokyo, as well as one of the biggest shopping and entertainment districts of Japan's capital.
Today we will start the walk from inside of JR Shibuya Station, with a glimpse at the super busy Tokyo metro train system. Then we will exit Shibuya Station at Hachiko Gate, arriving straight to Shibuya Scramble Crossing. After taking in all the hustle and bustle of world's busiest crossing, we will walk around the entire Shibuya neighbourhood, including Shibuya Center-Gai street, Inokashira-Dori, Spain-zaka, Dougen-Zaka, and Miyashita Park.

People are extremely considered in Japan, especially in Tokyo on a very crowded train.. I love the silence too.

It looks more people crowded on the road than the public tranportations, the city has a lot of pretty tall buildings and looking nice👍👍my greeting from Timor Leste🇹🇱

I'd like Shibuya, as one of the busiest cities in Tokyo... But, you can see this scene is similar to the situation in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur - a capital city of MALAYSIA. You can spend your time to visit the city, soon...

I don't think there are any shortages.. you can get pretty much anything in Tokyo, the shopping & food options are amazing!

What's the temperature there now at this hour?
The end of December was pretty cold this year, it was around +5 +10 degrees celsius, but it was very sunny almost every day :)
I dunnow if i would walk the same road another 5 times in the same video tho and look at the same shops and billboards even more

Emaculate! The city I live in I hate here in the united states. I can't even walk outside to the grocery store without seeing trash, bums and people who stink even when they are 20 feet of you. This is wonderful and the japanese people should be proud. Not only was it difficult to find any trash on the side walks, I don't think even one person looks dirty are trashy in any way.

Thanks for your comment 😊 Indeed standards for the surroundings in Japan are very high, it's always a pleasure to be here. The super busy places like Shibuya and Shinjuku do get a bit dirty, especially on the weekend nights, but it's always cleaned up remarkably quickly, and back to normal in the very early hours of the morning. Unfortunately, you can also see bums in Tokyo, usually in the central underpasses. But I gotta say, even they are tidier compared to the other bums around the world..
I hope Brazil changes only for the best in the future :) and I hope you will have an opportunity to travel around Japan 😊

I always forget that Shakey's pizza is a thing in Japan (it used to be huge in the US but not for a long time - although it's really popular in the Philippines). One thing I will say - the pizza at Shakey's is WEIRD! Corn and Mayonnaise? Egg and Shrimp?? Squid Ink pizza?????

Hahah, I hear you, Shibuya is like that. But Tokyo has plenty of quiet areas, so I really recommend coming for longer, and discovering all it has to offer! :)

Many signs with the word GAI. The internet says it means harm, damage, evil influence. When talking about something like The Golden Gai does it mean something else?
Oh no, the word gai or its kanji 街, means street, district or town. In every area of the cities in Japan you will see the words "name商店街" - ".....shotengai" which means a commercial district or a shopping street. In case of the Golden Gai it's something like "Golden District"
