My Worst Ever 10 Dollars Spent 🇺🇬 vA 97

- I ride from Iganga to Jinja, in Uganda, in Africa.
As I leave Iganga, I discover that my front suspension is damaged. In Jinja, I stay in a very beautiful lodge before going out to see the source of the white Nile. Sadly, the organized park around the source of the Nile is very unpleasant, and I get very annoyed by it.

Mid week video has finally come to our rescue
Let's people stop criticizing foreigners ,still them has freedom of speech and conscience.one has the right to pour out whatever is in his/her heart..Yvess all the way
Uganda is rich in nature 💚💚💚. Much love from ke.
The guy doesn't just like music but the locals enjoy their music besides lakes and rivers. Ugandans love music
I like the way you always recognise the beauty in nature!
Kino Yves: "Morning my friend?"
Musenjeli: Morning too my friend!
Your friend from Eldoret-Kenya 🇰🇪.. keep going my friend.
Alikua Eldy lini?
@@iam_jim3 huh Jan? sasa kama alikua Uganda december haimakesense hadi
@@iam_jim3 Ali load vid ya Eld in jan but mayb alikuwa huko 4 months earlier😅
As a kenyan who lived in jinja am happy to see the nile, I never used to pay, plus you refused the guide plus I used to raft at bujagali falls, diplomatic plates made everything free
This is me. I'm UG,🇺🇬 watching from Nancy🇫🇷. it's mid spring here! Trees shading a pale-light green so breathtaking but I just know it's all to ripen and fall in the fall:) I kinda miss that thick permanent dark green!
Mr Yves, most of those that live there dont wake up in the morning and feel like"wow, the longest river in the world is on my doorstep "To them its just a river and they see the place too quiet and decide to liven it with music.I feel your pain.😬
Yeah but he paid 10 dollars, it's not supposed to be a park?
@jacque7736 they are different , their music makes them lighten up and enjoy themselves in their own country if you don't like their customs or never researched on it then its your problem. Its like coming to Kenya and asking why a bus has like 5 speakers and 8 tvs playing loud music ,which seems odd but it's just the way we are..
Not seen NGOs
nah dont say "I feel your pain" hes being a bitch tbh - complaining about a fee to see the river when there are loads of parks worldwide that require a fee as if its unique to Uganda. Other people are also paying to be there its not just for him and his entitled ass
@@Lynnknowsaurus
I thought Yves was in special park to "admire" the river, not in a "residential area". Why? Because he paid something like 10$ at the entrance at the fake kiosk. I did not realize it was a tourist trap. We don't have those here where i live( fake entrance fees for tourist), like you said:" We are different".
When this video popped up on my feed, I was like: "Is it Saturday??" 😅
Uganda seems nice, I always wanted to go there. Been in Gambia, loved it there too but i think Uganda is the very nice version of Gambia.
A great tale you tell about your last journey bringing you to Jinja, it adds powerful contex. Everywhere after here is a totally new frontier!
Good show ! ♦
Green Uganda. Every where is like Paradise. You visited the source of Blue Nile, Lake Tana without any payment. I saw you enjoying Oranges collected from residential compound near to Lake Tana. Bahir Dar city is so beautiful
Watching from the UK🇬🇧! Lovely to see you visit Jinja my hometown . Much love!
The scenery is beautiful and green ☘️🌱🌳...and also the people are kind and wonderful... Thank you for allowing us see this part of Africa 🌍❤
"What are you doing?" .... "I'm riding a bicycle!" 😂😂
Okay
It is ,,,,what are you doing !

I'm riding a bicycle 😂😂
Kino am always waiting for your updates 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪❤❤❤
Thank you Yves for the midweek video. A real delight.
Bon voyage.
At least this one came earlier....i just like watching your videos,if its possible you post twice in a week.
Good luck kino...be safe.much love from 254

Stef is right, Kino passed through Kenya before going to Uganda.

That accident happened sometimes back in December 12th if am not wrong it was an orange truck from Iganga heading to Jinja. Kino might be already in Zambia now 😂
Your information too old bro, Yves already made U Turn from Cape of Good Hope and heading towards France 😂😂
In jinja you must be Crazy.

@@stevekamau243yea what you’re saying is true
Last year I was told "You paid to see not to hear"
Ahahahha, that's a funny one!
Wow! Never mind, when they know better, they will do better.
I suspect when their tourist count takes a hit, they'll reevaluate why and maybe tone down the music...
Jinja is a beautiful place with greenery around. It's a place would love to live
So far Uganda looks stunning.
I need to find more time to watch your fantastic videos, Yves!
Yve i have been following you for quite some time; you are lucky you dont encounter car accidents (collision). I wish God be wih you on the roads! Keet it up!
i made my electric bike, i drive it everywhere, on the road, in the forest, by the river, in the sun, in the rain, in the snow. it's my hobby now and the porblems are after every ride. a bit of noise here and there, bit rattling, open screw etc etc((for screws use blue thread lock)
We Africans love the music. Cultural ❤🎉🎉
Hi Eve, Uganda is loved by many Ethiopian Refuges & Greatful to Uganda's Hospitality! Whenever you Missing parts, it is sign of poverty!
Hi my friend good morning
Please enjoy Uganda
0:42 This laugh totally reminds me of the phrase "hold my beer." Funny 😂
you can use loctite to tighten all screws.
I've been to Uganda and really it's the pearl of Africa
Yves my friend I really hope you are safe and sound reading this message! Please, if you feel comfortable, share with us more about the backstory.. it was very interesting to hear that you were on the road for 2.5 years a decade ago! And that this was the last place you have reached before abandoning your travel. A decade has passed and yet fate brought you back here where you were left.. How did the obstacles of the past help you to become the person, the explorer as we know you now? How is the feeling now that after 10 years you are back again where you left and even exceed your 'past limits'? It is so interesting to understand your motivation and your perspective for the purpose of life. This would help me and perhaps other people that follow your life journey to answer our own life questions. Take care my friend!🙏
If you have time, try to go to Busowooko falls,Nile Bungee Jumping,Murchishon falls(Those are EPIC PARTS OF THE NILE IN UGANDA).
Busowooko Falls is just 10000/=Boda boda transport back and forth from where you are!I hope it will compensate your bad experience at the source.
I loved this woman who showed you the roons! She was very simpathick!
Great midweek breather. The Nile is mesmerizing. Love the guest house as well. The housekeeper was very friendly
Take care of yourself, here watching from Uganda 🇺🇬🇺🇬
@kinoyves if you are staying longer in Jinja dont miss out on Busowoko rapids... I was in Jinja months and stayed exactly at 30 wilson and sailed on river Nile, amazing experience! When you reach kampala, we are here in case you need any help!
He's probably out of Uganda by now. These videos are delayed.
Bonjour. Enfin une vidéo.
When Yves always asks a question he must end the sentence "or no?" hahah
Is that not the common French way? Mais, non?
Thanks!
Thank you very much !
Wao
Good kenyan ❤
You are in their country and you complain about everything and on top of that you say it in the video instead of keeping it to yourself and I would like to be in Africa in Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, wherever relaxing with them and I love it. its music ❤❤❤❤
Hi Kino Yves, am from Ethiopia and You are my Motivation.
Encore un magnifique reportage, merci pour tout les efforts.
Enfin
morning too my friend🖐🖐
Thank you so much for this upload.
Ohhhh Noooo very sorry for this breakdown again! We remember that happened to you lastyear in Kenya
By the way Yves, just so you know the border between Rwanda and Burundi is closed. So you won't be able to enter Burundi through Rwanda...
Kino, you were definitely very annoyed by the Nile Park experience. I can relate to that
as per my kenyan investigation that couple you took picture there relationship will end soon
Njoo uninyonye kigongi bro
Watching in kenya
after watching so many of these, the only thing that scares yves is loud music. hah
sorry about all the bad that happened, i continue to warn u be careful on the road to kampala, drivers are insane.... see when you reach kampala
You're a very grumpy traveller. Take a break and perhaps dust your broom. 😉
You see the source of the Nile from the opposite bank free of charge. The entrance fee you paid goes to the city council for their programs
As always, another great adventure. Cheers
I hope we get to see more of the city of Jinja. 👍
Moooorninggg our friend!
you didnt even get to the snake park at the nile you missed cause you ignored a guide
And you pay Mzungu price to see the river, similar to Nakuru and the flamingos! triple for foreigners.
use binding wire as a temporary solution for the suspension. havs a meter or 2 for emergency.
watch out for snakes Yves. that green is beautiful and dangerous too
I was wondering about the snakes too and crocs that close to the Nile.
at this point this guy deserve milion subscribers
That bike company need to have you as their ambassador and sponsor your trips. My thoughts
Love your content !!
May be you weren’t in a mood ,otherwise the 10 dollar and music couldn’t be that an issues.
watsup bro,fr oiishii corner singapore.
Enjoy the pearl of Africa
you should get flashing red lights for your bike for increased safety
Seems like someone tampered with it. That is a new frame from Kenya. This problems never happened before.
The reason why people pay tour guide is for historical aspects for instance if u went to fort Jesus in Kenya or Nile in Egypt all u see it’s just structures but if you take a tour guide u realize the structure is just a small thing the real deal is the history behind those structures
Yes, but when people don't want a tour guide, they go without a tour guide. It's not fair to force everyone to have a tour guide.
@@KinoYves stop being a bitch man - you were'nt forced to have a tour guide and were able to walk through. There are loads of areas that dont require fees to enter and there are areas that do just like in every country around the world - you really were just complaining but remember these people are trying to make a livelihood whilst you do your little cycles around each country.
What’s the purpose of the flags on the bike?
Very beautiful place thanks for showing us ❤
Kino to the world
Those parts have been removed they are too many for them to be lost like that. One is okay but more than one is not make sure
Great vedio as always
I think you're making Wednesday a habit for releasing videos. Cool. And I like your resilience. You never gave up on traveling the world even after 10 years
Kino Yves on a weekday?!
Hold my bike
I saw you past Kampala the other day.
Wen? ,please tell us
If that park didn't have any sort of order/fees, it'd be in very bad shape.
As a tourist place, it must be more developed in order to be worth the amount of payment. For me, the guest house is enough for me after this matter 😂😂
Have a nice trip, my friend 💪🏻💗💗
Kino Yves the Magellan of Tri-cycle
You paid 10 dollars and they told you the guide and a boat ride are included in the price.
You declined.
What are you complaining about?
I neither wanted a tour guide nor a boat tour, so why the f*** they make me pay $10?
You know, you buy an apple when you want an apple, but if you are forced to buy an apple when you don't want it, it's called a scam
you need to be checking your bike before the trip and tighten all loose screws take care of your office
Guy says clearly he doesn't need a guide then complains when he has a bad experience. People!....
Os parafusos acabam se soltando por falta de manutenção, tem que ser bem apertado, assim não solta.
I hope the trike company sponsor you...
Hey Yves, I seriously wonder why you didn't ask the manufacturer of the bike on your great trip if you could get some important spare parts sent to you. Before the trip, of course. I think you would have had a lot less problems along the way.
Morning my friends!
I agree with him. I hate musics near nature. I prefer to hear birds singing
We, Africans, like music naturally. However, we should learn that nobody is music fan near nature esp visitors
you are really grumpy af... for you it was a bad experience. for others (and for me) have some background music just improve the experience. be humble, be simple, and just enjoy the moment with everything that is envolved.
he's allowed to have an opinion bro, and yeh, noise pollution can be annoying at times.
@@Blake4014 agree... he can have his opinion. A grumpy opinion.
The management should learn how to treat tourists, loud music is unnecessary, that should be changed.
Watching from Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Low self esteem will be the end of you Kenyans
The only bad side of Uganda is poorly managed roads.
Bad governance
The head of state is enjoying best part of National cake…distanced himself from his official duties.
@@Amari-Leman plus his brethren, Ug gets a low deal from this scam of a leader.
@@Amari-Leman too bad for a country that would have been the best in EAC. Ug has the best climate, fertile soils, and an endless list of good things in that country.
Canada is worse than uganda......imagine that roads are like 10x worse than Afghanistan
Dont Forget Busowoko Falls
Don’t try going to kasese in the western part of Uganda via Mbarara on that thing of yours, reason being u have to go through Queen Elizabeth National Park, and before u know it a lion will be taking selfies using your camera and monkeys riding your cart while you’re watching from heaven 😅 just saying, welcome to the pearl of Africa 🇺🇬
idi amin welcomes u with open arms!
The music is part of african culture, plus not everyone knows about copyright music thing.
Indeed, but I don't think that loud speakers are part of African culture 😊
Sadly, in Uganda, loud speakers turned the beautiful musical African culture into a true nightmare.
😅😅there’s just something about uganda ….first its chapati n eggs (chapati mayai) .Then the place has that authentic real African look.tbh i find uganda attractive because it has that natural feel to it.
