The Jackie Robinsons of American Fighter Pilots. Lucas Film Big Budget Remake of HBOs Tuskegee Airmen. Many of the flying scenes are very similar to Michael Bey's remake of Pearl Harbor with quick cuts, dolby, an abundance of CGI and prop-driven fighters pulling 360s that would challenge a Huey Cobra. I'm not a stickler for adherence to irrelevant detail if it moves the story and the characters and the message along without too much exaggeration. Its a movie. Not a documentary or a Political Science thesis.
Anything and anybody that shines the light on the Jackie Robinsons of America's armed forces is worth watching and worth recommending
