Fantastic!! It’s very useful! Thank you 🙏
Glad it was helpful, Marta 👍
Your excel illustration is super different 👍
Thank you! Your comments are much appreciated.
I discovered a huge benefit of Ctrl+Enter a couple of weeks ago purely by accident. I like to use it all the time to remain in my edited cell to check my formula. One day, I forgot I had selected a range of around 100 cells, typed in a formula and pressed Ctrl+Enter as usual and, hey presto, 100 cells instantly calculated without the need to copy and paste. Now I do it all the time deliberately. I haven't yet tried it like you on different cells... "Makes mental note".
Brilliant!
Great video Alan 📹 👍 Thank u for sharing your knowledge with us
My pleasure! Thank you Nader.
lovely as always!!
Thank you! 😊
Excellent help! Thank you.
You're welcome! Thank you 😊
Fantastic!!!!
Many thanks!
Great examples Alan.
Many times, we unconsciously abuse applying Enter, when it is more advantageous to use Ctrl+Enter. Thanks for the explanation.
Thank you, Ivan.
Excellent timing for a laborious task I have right now! Will save me so much time. 👍
Perfect! Great to hear that.
Thanks for this! Silly question maybe, but how did you lock your criteria range in example 2 so quickly after selecting, is there a shortcut? Thanks
Thanks, and Sir I am looking for short cut for summing two different group of random cells and then subtracting one from another. Is there any fast & short method.
Alan,
What is the reverse process to keep the third example at its original form?
To keep it. We would have used Power Query to create a separate instance.
It’s working kinda but it not fill in data it just fills in the formula
I'm not sure what you mean, but if you are seeing the formula and not the result; check that the cell is not formatted as text, and that the Show Formulas button on Formulas is not shown. This video explains more ua-cam.com/video/AvR1EtjToLk/v-deo.html
