i prefer disney because of their vibes, it’s so magical and leaving your stateroom to go to the pool and seeing mickey mouse or a disney princess is so fun
I didnt mind that, most casinos allow smoking and the whole floor just seems like cigarettes and gives me a headache. Especially when there located on the busy floor where you either have to go up or down a floor to avoid it or just walk though, Disney for me anytime.
I’ve only ever cruised on Disney ships! Even without our kids, they make us feel like Royalty!! Each one has been more magical than the previous! Next cruise April 2024!!
I'll take the USS Anyship. Twin size coffin bunks stacked three high in a space with 60 "friends". Four showers in the same space with plastic curtains that haven't been changed in months. And don't forget the twin Rolls Royce engines against the bulkhead where your bunk is positioned, giving you that nice Navy grade tinnitus for life as a gift!
I’m the parent of a veteran sailor, and my first experience sailing (from Hawaii to San Diego) was on a tiger cruise on the USS Peleliu coming home from the Persian Gulf. What an experience!
Disney does not include gratuities... You got that wrong my friend.. Well, they didn't when we cruised with them anyway - we was charged for gratuities daily.
Honestly all cruises I’ve ever been on has been Disney and Disney has just been what I grew up with, I love the few ships they have, mainly the fantasy and I love being able to interact with characters and having special days like Star Wars, marvel or pirate night themed because they are Disney, but I do wanna try royal carribian because I’ve never been on those ships
Disney also has a laundry area you can use. I think it was $3 to wash and $3 to dry with an iron and ironing board available for use. Royal only has laundry service. All rooms on Disney also have tubs to bathe the little ones in. You also don’t need to provide shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and lotion. Disney products are really good and they are even sold.
I’m a Disney cruiser all the way. I have done some other ones but IN MY OPINION they didn’t compare with Disney. With Disney your servers stay with you with your rotations, and you don’t appreciate it until you go on different cruise lines. I didn’t appreciate it until I went on the Norwegian Joy and then I realized that the Disney servers always rotate with you and know what you want.
With cruises on other lines that have set dining you have the same wait staff. Disney didn't invent it but the rotation dining is a Disney innovation. Plus comparing a premium level cruise line to a mainstream cruise line is not a proper comparison. Disney is a great cruise especially if you enjoy Disney. But I can do two transatlantics and a western Caribbean inside cabin on an older Royal ship for close to the same as a single 8 day Disney cruise.
How would servers know what I'd want, when what I want is likely to vary while there? And it doesn't take more than a short amount of time to provide that information each time? Shrugs.
I went on wonder of seas 3 weeks ago . The best cruise ever. July 6 we going on icon of the seas. And on icon will be in there surfside family suite. Wonder was like being in Mall of America.
@@kevinbaynes3105I was also on Wonder of the seas not to long ago. I can confirm that I had a BLAST on that cruise ship. Royal Caribbean is the best cruise line!
If you have young children, the biggest difference is Oceaner's Club at DCL, nothing else comes close in the industry. Having the ability to drop off your kids at Oceaner's Club to have adult night to catch a show or grab a drink is just priceless 😎
I love Royal Carribean because I’m young (but independent and mature) and have never been on any other cruise line, but the crew treat you with such care! The kids club (AO) is so kind and is certain to help, and there are games! There is also a specific area for teens 12 and up! The food is so different and phenomenal! There are very interesting sites and entertaining events, like karaoke! May I add, there’s usually a screen above the pool for movies and funny videos and lovely music while you are tanning, swimming, sitting in the hot tub, or just flat out getting a drink!
I love Disney. It is so classy and luxurious. I also enjoy the brand so the shows and resteraunts are perfect for us. It is extremly expensive and suggested gratuities are NOT included in the initial cruise price. They are an additional cost that is automatically charged to the card on file. (It can be reduced or removed but please don't do that. If you can afford a disney cruise, you can afford to reward the people who provided you with the world class service Disney demands. Sure arguments can be made that that is Disney's responsibility not yours. I don't disagree, but taking it out on the crew who depend on these tips to teach a corporation a lesson is not the way). I save for years for my Disney cruises and when I see people who take 2-3 per year onboard I immagine what their life must be like. Im not saying I will never try another cruiseline, but I went on what was suposed to be a once in a lifetime trip and got hooked.
If you want to splurge GO TO DISNEY!! I haven’t been but am currently planning a cruise trip for once I turn 18. Me and my family are Disney people and have annual passes and my mom also is a contracted worker for Disney. (I’m About to be myself and might be entering there college programs!!) From people who have gone, Disney cruises are truly amazing and even if you go by yourself (which I intend to do) you will be able to have fun and then that whole spacious room is for yourself!!
Disney staterooms has a video library of all their movies on the tv. Just a little extra in room entertainment on those sea days when the pool deck is packed.
@@ship_factsidk excatly I have a family with young kids ( in nl but a family with mainly teens also ) so which is better but I’d probably take the tour around England on rc
I think next June or July I will be on my FIRST Royal Caribbean cruise! I will be going with my family idk what the ship is yet, but I think its either Anthem or Oasis Of The Seas!!
Our family of 4 love Royal! We've been on four different ships! We are going on Anthem of the Sea this coming December. Double check which ship because Anthem and Oasis are very different! But you'll have fun regardless 🤗
The one with less or no kids. But this is not a compition becuase they are two very different ships. Disney cruises are for families and loudness so it's for them and I have no little kids anymore.
I've done both. Royal Caribbean is better for an adult group & the typical cruiser. They have more adult activities throughout the day. Casino, Alcohol Packages, Late Night events, and over all costs. With a loyalty program both with cruising and casino that can get you free stuff on future cruises. If you like to gamble you can get much better benefits quicker and rack up your Crowne points from the free cruises they offer to get you back on to gamble more. Disney: This is a fun occasional cruise, but perfect for a family with Elementary to Middle School kids. Tons of kid friendly activities on the ship with most of them in the (Day Care Area) so you can enjoy knowing your kids are taken care of but can relax. Unfortunately, no drink package just drink deals like buy 5 beers get a 6 free. Drinks are not Disney priced, so don't fear a huge cost to order a drink. I recommend if you have a friend working at Disney, see what their their discount is. DCL crew have a better one. Disney has WAY BETTER food on their ships, dining is rotated around restaurants, and super fun. Biggest down fall is the price f9r the cruises.
I want to go on a Disney cruise for the experience cause I never been on a Disney cruise but I don't want to be around a lot of kids. I'd probably go with Royal Caribbean but last time I was on Royal Caribbean the cruise ship was on had primarily senior citizens and was boring. I primarily spent my time at the arcade cause it was the only real fun I was able to have. I honestly prefer Carnival over Royal Caribbean. Also I've never had issues with Carnival cruises PS I drive a school bus and I'm around little kids pretty much all the time so I prefer not to be around them during my vacation 😅
I prefer a royal Caribbean although I do like Disney I like royal Caribbean because it has a lot much more to offer with all the different neighborhoods on the ship plus Royal Caribbean goes all over the world where usually Disney only has like two destinations, the Bahamas and Hawaii
Gratuities are NOT included in DCL cruise prices, they are with VV. DCL is my #1 cruise Line, Virgin #2. I will rank RCCL after I see what Celebrity has to offer 😊
My daughter's birthday cruise is on Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas but w will do Christmas on Disney. Disney is too expensive for the same experience at sea.
I have been on over 60 cruises on different cruise lines. I have be faithful to Royal for many years now. Disney is overpriced and I am older ….no young children. Also I like the casino and Disney does not offer a casino. They are good for the crowd they attract but the price is insane.
RC all day

Fr
and all night
Agreed I don’t like Disney Universal is better
i prefer disney because of their vibes, it’s so magical and leaving your stateroom to go to the pool and seeing mickey mouse or a disney princess is so fun
Disney is also extremely family freindly ( for young kids and for the older kids )
I love Disney cruise line
Same I went last year on the wish
Their ship: 😇
Their prices and days on board: 💀💀💀
Bro Disney is well I’m not into it because I think Universal is better because their movie since Luca have been fucking bad
Loyal to Royal!
I can take multiple trips on Royal Caribbean for a price on Disney. And yes, I've been on Disney
Not after RC starts nickle
and diming you!
another difference is Disney has no casino.
Because it's made for kids my friend
They do have bingo, tho.
Deal breaker

Disney!!

Disney
Can you go on a p&o cruise? I’d love to see your opinion on them.
I went on a Disney cruise twice when I was five and when I was seven and I’m 11 but I haven’t been on since because of Covid😢
Disney cruise you also get included dinner all night on the ship and visit different restaurants with same servers
It's funny how that's the only point people say about Disney like that means nothing...
I was just pointing a fact never said that’s what makes it better than other cruise operators. Everyone has their own preferences.
