You might also enjoy her collaboration with Peter Hollens on the Skyrim theme. The 2 of them had fun making the video. You also might enjoy her collaboration with the Canadian Tenors on the Queen Classic " Who Wants to Live Forever!" Both are worth the watch!
Great reaction again! Despite the difficulty in finding words appropriate to describe what you're seeing. As I've mentioned, we all suffer from that. Great choice on your ongoing Lindsey journey. That's an oldie but a goodie! Published in 2012, but I think she actually wrote the arrangement while she was still in high school, WTH!! (She was just a puppy! ) But, good lord, wasn't that an eye-opening intro!? The juxtaposition of classical and rock, both musically and in the imagery is just amazing. This is what Lindsey does, turn everything on it's ear .I the can't find the source document but I recall Andrew Lloyd Weber being asked about this and that he had seen it and approved. As you're aware of, and will become even moreso as your journey continues, Lindsey's a unicorn. We're all aware that she's a multi-hyphenate of the highest order. There just doesn't seem to be anything she can't do if she tries. While they all sound like Lindsey, it's a different Lindsey each time! The talent behind those talents is the insane, almost unlimited creativity this woman has. Just unbelievable! She sees things in her mind that no one else does and has the skills to bring them to life. Put these on your to-do list just for the diversity; Naturally, they're all great, they just show that no genre is beyond her reach. Regardless of order, you'll still be amazed. It was on her first Xmas album and after six years, it still garners 60k views daily. ua-cam.com/video/EKkzbbLYPuI/v-deo.html Keep up the good work!
Good choice! Great video! But calling this 'a cover' is kinda like calling 'Avatar' a cartoon. Her 'covers' are usually better than the original. She not trying to best them, she just does. I recall that she wrote this arrangement while in high school. That in itself is remarkable, but then the imagery, the scenery, the locations, the storyboarding and the seamless editing makes this another signature Lindsey Stirling epic. Devon Graham, her mentor in the beginning for all things UA-cam, and boyfriend for a bit, deserves a lot of credit for the cinematography. Particularly the scenes in the theatre, as they were epic. This is back in the day when Lindsey's budget was really tight and they still managed to make remarkable videos on a shoestring budget. She still does that today, not so much for budgetary reasons but that sometimes she can't find her vision out there and has to DIY it. Also, she says that doing a lot of this in-house, so to speak, allows her to produce a better product than you'd expect on her budget. Again, really enjoying your reactions and can't wait to see where you're going next.
Also when you said its a change of pace, its because she actually started playing Angel of Music, then went on to play Think of Me, then Music of the Night. Then she went back to playing Phantom of the Opera. If you're loving this so much try watching the actual musical which I've had on a million times whilst you've been around 🤣🤣
This is the first video I ever saw of her 10 years ago and fell in love and been a dedicated fan ever since.
Линдси я готов слушать даже в аду!

Yes, music is from the movie. Which you should definitely watch. Great classic

Just thought of this. Since you liked her version of Phantom, take a peek at Les Misérables. Virtuoso.
