I cannot overstate how criminally under-rated Pentatonix are. They're so original and so fresh with their style and craft. This video and cover as insatiably won me over.
Underrated? They got over 12 million subs, more than most other famous non-youtube artists outside of people like justin bieber, taylor swift etc

I think before all understatement, the full base african american guy who plays the cello is the most underated of all, no idea why is he so held back publicly but I believe he deserves the most publicity because without bass, all future sounds goes to the dumpster, no fusion, no originality
Can’t believe this video is 11 years old today. I was in 5th grade when my teacher played this video for our class, and now I’m a senior in college. I come back and watch this once or twice a year and I can’t believe I happened to search for it on the anniversary of its upload date

While listening to this for the first time today, i remembered something my music teacher said. Something like, "String instruments without frets, when played by bow, are more similar to a human voice than any other kind of instrument." How appropriate that bow-played strings and Pentatonix collaborated on this piece.
I personally think this song even at 194M views is categorically under-appreciated. It's the musical equivalent of the best steak I've ever eaten while watching the sunset over the North Shore of Hawaii.
