PAMM in the Neighborhood

This two-part program begins with an on-site visit by PAMM teaching artists, who lead the children in conversations about art with illustrations of works on view in the museum’s galleries, followed by hands-on art-making inspired by the works discussed. Following each visit, PAMM arranges for all participants to visit the museum free of charge with teaching artist-led tours through the galleries.
Each child that participates additionally receives art-making materials to continue creating throughout the summer and into the school year, as well as a complimentary guest pass to return to the museum with their family.
The theme for Summer 2023 is Collaging Cultures. Participants will explore how contemporary artists incorporate traditional cultural practices and materials to communicate powerful messages about community, the environment, identity, and more. The program runs from June 20th - August 11th.
