- Palestinian militant group Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a long-term ally of Hamas, has threatened to attack British troops in case of possible deployment to Gaza. The United Kingdom is reportedly considering putting boots on the ground in Gaza to assist U.S. military in delivering aid to Palestinians. “"[British troops would be] treated as occupation forces and will be legitimate targets for the resistance,” the PFLP said in a statement, Press TV reported.
