I would just like to say, as an American living in Switzerland this video is a little deceptive.... people here maybe paid more but living costs are 3x more here, so the income has to be much higher. The average person here lives a normal if not more reserved life style, most never being able to rent or own their own home and instead rent apartments.

E.g. an average person without a degree/further education may earn between $ 3'500-5'000. That seems like a lot from the outside. However, the cost for a monthly rent for a 3-room flat (without cost for electricity, parking lot or running water) is usually between $ 1'000 - 2'500 EACH MONTH! If you live in a big city like Zurich, you may earn more than in other cities. But the living costs are also massive. Fuel costs around $1.50-1.80 per liter. Buying a 1 kilogram loaf of bread costs between $2.00 -5.50. Buying a pair of jeans on average is between $40-120. A cup of coffee is around $5.00 (at Starbucks even more). By the way: It is common to work 40-45 hours per week if you have a fulltime job. So... yes, it might looks like Swiss people are rich, but the working hours are long and when looking at the context living in Switzerland is incredibly expensive.
I don’t know where you do your shopping, but I can get you a loaf of bread for under 1$ a cup of coffee for 1$ and a pair of jeans for 20$ and I by fuel for around 1.30$ per liter.
