Hi Lucy, I’m not sure about the controversial card. I absolutely love the scene cards with the brick backgrounds. It never ceases to amaze me how you come up with such beautiful ideas. I envy that ability.
These washi tapes are new to me but are really beautiful. The fact that they're stickers that don't have to be fussy cut is a huge plus. And even the ones that have to be fussy cut look like they're easily cut, like you mentioned. I will definitely have to look into these more. Love the collage-like focal points you made with them with all of the visual interest. The wood and brick paper backgrounds really made these come together very nicely. Thank you for sharing these beauties!
I agree with your husband that card was quite busy. You seem like a master at cutting with that craft knife!! I'd have it all crooked for sure, but I'm going to practice. Sure beats getting out a trimmer all the time. Love your work!! Thank you for the great ideas!
I've just discovered you and just started making cards again after an absence of 20 years! I love your style! So beautiful! Your voice is so lovely too.
Hi Lucy! I really enjoy making scene cards too. You have inspired me to use my pens to make borders and I love the look. I also use your trick with the stamping block to weigh down the papers that have been glued 🙌🏻. Thanks for the great video! I'm going to make a card now! 😊
I love all your cards! They are beautiful! My favorite is the "busy" one! 💖 Thank you so much for sharing and all your wonderful tips and ideas! I haven't used this product before but your video made me want to try it. ☺️ Have a wonderful day
These are great cards, Lucy, and I enjoyed seeing your courage in putting one sticker on top of the other to make the scene you wanted. I think I would be a bit hesitant to do that (or just not think of doing it at all! ) Thanks for a truly enjoyable video. 😊
They are all wonderful but my fave is the busy one too .. I didn't think I would like it as you were making it but the end result is awesome ❤ Thanks Lucy, you are so creative
That's so great to hear these and the other video have helped give you ideas for your poinsettia washi and pet tapes, I love that! I also have a very simple but elegant card set I recently posted that may help too if they're similar in size to the flowers I used, here's the video link ua-cam.com/video/bsW477vohYE/v-deo.html XOX Lucy
Hi Lucy I hope you are doing well. I love this channel because every design you make comes out just perfect. I am in love with the PET tape and the washi tape looks i think they come out really well on your camera. Shiny or not, you must have the perfect angle on them while you are making them then showing them. When i first looked at the busy card the first words out of my mouth was what is she doing but on the second look at the card it had grown on me it is a little busy but i am not mad at the card i think the final result is beautiful. It looks a bit like my house at Christmas time. I have Christmas tree's all over my house so it looks like a country home a bit. I love the fact your Christmas time is our summer time that's so cool. If you ever want to try some colder climates i would love to show you some of the sights here in Canada. We almost had a green Christmas last year but it did snow a few days before Christmas. i think it gives Christmas a more magical look to Christmas. In the UK where i was born and grew up it rarely snowed so it was very green at Christmas there. the cold took some getting used to but i have been here for over thirty years now so it doesn't bother me as much now. Anyways the offer is there if you want to come over and give it a go. Have a wonderful day and thanks for your design ideas with this exciting medium. love love love them all.
They look like them. I just received mine from the washi tape club. I tried doing what you do to peel them off, it isn't working. It's so frustrating.@@lucypatrick
@@jazzy8084 I'm sorry to hear you're frustrated, that's no good! I didn't have any issues, occasionally I had to turn to a different edge if it didn't come up straight away. One time I had a PET sticker facing downwards and I couldn't roll it; I realised it was because the sticker is the "rollable" part, not the backing and therefore made it impossible to peel off. So maybe make sure the sticker is facing up and gently roll with your thumb towards your hand. Have you re-watched my video on how I do it? Once you do it once, I think it will be easier so please don't give up, keep at it and let me know if I can be of any more help. I'll do it again slowly in my next video. XOX
Looks like I'm a little late getting to the party, Lucy. But I still love these cards. And you make them look like they're ready to come out of a picture. beautiful layouts. I have a question for you. How do you get your Nuvo drops even after you have flattened them out. to not flatten any more. I let my sit for days on end. And when I go to use them, they're perfect, so I add to the card and mail it. the dots get flat. So I thought I'd ask the expert.
Hi Darlene! Oh, are you using Nuvo drops or a different brand? I find my Nuvo drops stay how I add them, although I'm not sure if they flatten once in the mail. My only advice would be smaller drops would be less likely to be "squishy". XOX
While I love them all, I'm leaning towards the 3rd card with the tree in front of the window. I do like scene cards even busy ones that remind me of the old Currier and Ives cards that had little vignettes that all added to a cohesive scene. As a kid, would really study the card to to see what was going on. I'm afraid I have to disagree with your husband. As the images were mainly Christmas trees it didn't seem to be overly busy to me. Thank you, Lucy.
Hi Paulette, yes I have ua-cam.com/video/W7GmAV0KO3s/v-deo.htmlsi=NiLaSrrKuJ7A8irF and I'll be finishing another video soon that's using lots of washi tapes and the background die I use in this video - ua-cam.com/video/G7ovFyoEu58/v-deo.htmlsi=ZCTZnNM01wRGnsj4 XOX
Hi Lucy I always love your cards but when I go to buy the products, they are sold out. I get so disappointed. I complete the “ /Notify me when back in stock “ but they never answer me. Love and hugs Jane xxxx
Sorry Jane, I have no control over that but if it’s an older video like this one, there’s a higher chance the products may be sold out. Have a fab weekend xox

Hey Lucy these PET tapes you can get from Esty Australia
Hi Jazzy, Is it the same one as this? I think these are exclusive designs by The Washi Tape Shop. Have a fab weekend 🥰♥️♥️
