I had to do a quick condolence card for a cousin who had to put her cat to sleep. I am sure it took more than 2 minutes, but it wasn't too much longer than that. I used patterned paper, a simple layout, and stamped some cat images with a stamped sentiment. I heat embossed the sentiment. I am thinking it took 10 minutes. For a hand made card I think that is good. And it was cute and clean and simple. Sometimes just coming up with the idea takes much longer than that.
Condolence cards are hard to make quickly - well done, you! Sounds like you nailed it! And that is a good point about the ideas taking longer sometimes! Thanks so much for watching!
I love that you give us other options for the cards. It's not always easy for me to come figure out what else to do to a card, so I really appreciate your suggestions. I know the more I hear them, the easier it will get for me to think of them while I'm creating! :)
Excellent! I just "found" you - and as a long-time paper crafter, I LOVE your tips and tricks for fast cards, organization, and the priceless help of the right tools.
Wow! Such great ideas! Thank you, Ardyth. I love the way you include little written tips in your videos, like how the viewer can skip the craft room set up section and go straight to the final card. Such a professional and thoughtful video.
Thanks for the video. I needed some quick cards for neighbours so I did the stencil card idea. I woke up this morning and went over stencilling them again with crackle paste just offsetting them and they’ve turned out great. Have a great Christmas
what brand of ink pads? Those are neat for coloring the paper like you did. You're so organized! That's key in being a productive crafter!!! Speaking from experience. ;)
Great ideas here! When I need a quick card, I make 2!! It doesn't take much longer to duplicate and it gives me a spare card to have on hand so I won't be in need of a quick card! Your cards are always lovely. I appreciate that you aren't out to sell us anything, helping us to us what we have. BTW, your craft room set up is perfect.
Wow, I just subscribed to your channel. I like that you got right to your content. No chit chat. Excellent that you gave other tips for adding more to your cards. I needed inspiration. I have a beautiful craft room and tons of products but I have not been using them lately. Thanks for giving me a push in the right direction. Blessings, Sue in Southern,DE
Great ideas as always! Thanks for sharing your talent. Do you remember what the clear bottles? Jars? are in the front row of you Poppin (grey) organizer is? They are the perfect solution for those tools. Also thanks for the heads up about those watercolors. Sparkle flecking off on my hands is a deal breaker for me. I really appreciate you sharing your experience.
Ah, Melissa, you have eagle eyes! Those are plastic spice jars, without their caps, of course. I bought them because the are square and I thought they were super cool, thinking I might keep embossing powder in them. Then Marion from WOW! said not to take powder out of the original container (increases static) so they sat around until I put them in the front row, so to speak. I added foam tape to the bottom of the organizer to keep them from sliding and tipping over. Thanks for watching!
OMG Ardyth. OMG…..Gorgeousness to the enth degree and WOW your ideas are beyond Brilliant and Ingenious!! Thank you so much Ardyth, I really really enjoyed watching you creating these gorgeous and stunning card’s. I really really love ❤️ each and every one of them. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Love all your tips! And all the tittle ideas too, I loved your image of the one where you cut it off. The background red JOY was even enough on its own :) The large sentiment card is always a great go-to and so lovely, especially with the fade. So much inspo ✨️
Tfs, you have lots of good ideas for fast cards. I sent out all t1he cards I made and realize I have maybe a 1/2 dozen more to make. Thanks for your help. Great and quick1
I loved all three of your ideas. I always struggle with getting enough cards made at Christmas because I wait too long. I should start with a plan immediately

I truly needed something quick yet beautiful for my extra cards. You have given me the answer with these lovely cards. Both will be wonderful, thank you. 🥰🇨🇦❤️
Great ideas, as always, Ardyth. Your "if you have more time" segments made me realize just why it takes me so darn long to complete my cards. I found myself saying, "of course, I do that," quite a bit. Love all your suggestions and your lovely cards. Square cards are wonderful but I tend to make them larger than 5" so I have to spend extra in postage for them. I stick to rectangular or sometimes shaped for the most part for my holidays cards that make dozens of. Just can't afford the out of sight price for postage these days. Of course, if the post office would stop taking my mail on a trip around the state or country, postage could probably cost less. (Tracking isn't always a good thing for your outlook.)
Super video Ardyth, I happen to have the Set you show so I was stoked! I love that you tell so many options to think about, it gets those creative juices flowing. Please keep showing these great videos that you do, we love them & thanks for sharing your time & talent!
My quick cards usually involve panels of patterned paper and a sentiment on a circle. This is easy for me to do as an assembly line. Cut all the panels, stamp all the sentiments, cut the circles, assemble. This way I can do all the stamping on, say Tuesday, and put them aside, do the panels Thursday, etc., and assemble, put in envelopes, and add a postage stamp all in one go. I can address them all while watching TV 😊 This year I'm going to try stencils, though. I'm in love with A Colorful Life Designs!
Fantastic video Ardyth. 💕 Full of ideas, tips, tricks, techniques and even parts in real-time, couldn't ask for more. 😊 Love how all of your cards turned out, simplicity at its best. 💕
Thanks so much for watching! Honestly, that real-time was killing me! lol! But for something like this, I think it's helpful to really see how long it takes to do something, even if it meant a really long video!
These are lovely, Ardyth 😍 I usually make larger, quite elaborate cards but I'm so slow that I'm way behind. These cards are a great way to encourage me to try the simpler route. Thanks for sharing 🌼
Beautiful cards, great extra ideas for each card and also very helpful tips for the craft room. You always give so many ideas and tips, thank you so much 👍

Love, love, love these ideas! Just watched Amy Ware’s use a stencil (similar to the one you used) in the same way. Thanks so much for sharing.
