Thank you for sharing. The level of detail and intricacy in your work is breathtaking.
Thank you!
What a fine job! There is something about hard work and craftsmanship that makes me smile and feel good. Wonderful!
Wow, that was one of the best bench videos I've seen. Totally on point, nothing that wasn't needed, everything that was, and all in focus and in frame, lol! Although it's going to take a while to recover from the tool envy...
I always wondered how these kinds of rings were made. Great job!
Fantastic ring and excellent music. Thank you for sharing.
beautiful
all the work in that one ring and still have such low prices. i am amazed by your abilities to make something so beautiful from just the raw materials that come from nature. greetings from the Netherlands and if i ever have the need to buy expensive rings for an occasion i will certainly have a look at your crafting again.
i have an idea but would it be possible to combine your style of rings with the secret wood rings (those rings that are made from a piece of wood with splinters and epoxy glue). if you ever try something like that it would be awesome.
Thank you!
Maybe.. the secret wood rings are usually quite big while I'm more about the minimalistic and modern designs. I'm sure I could combine the two if I gave the splinter technique a try but I'm not sure if it's for me, even though I do like the look of it a lot.
Great video overall, thanks! The final reveal of the finished product could be more clear though. Different angles, clear focus, proper lighting, so we can really enjoy the finished piece. The weird out-of-focus super bright dream sequence thing at the end was kind of a buzz kill for an otherwise awesome video!
Thanks. Yes, I regret that I didn't take more time to get some good shots of the finished ring.
I only mentioned it because the final product was killer, made a subscriber out of me in any case :)

how can i buy this ring nd where?
Really?
How about you try and do it yourself.
Thank you for giving me an idea that I can do with the exotic woods I have. Unfortunately I don't know how to work with silver, just stainless steel, but you still gave me some ideas. Thank you :-)
It came out great, what a nice idea for a ring
Awesome ring ! Im going to try something similar but with stone. Great work.
wow wow wow , i wish to have one of those , Really brilliant Craft , Well Done
Wonderful peace of art!
Sheesh that's beautiful, but wow it takes a lot of tools. Great job.

That ring is stunning, but something tells me that you've had maybe a little practice? Well done! Cheers Sean
Super awesome job!!!!!
Nice work.
now it needs to be enchanted
Thanks for the inspiration !
Amazing work!
What kind of glue did you use, in order to connect the wood and the silver?
Hola Soy de Argentina, espero que puedas responder mi duda..soy Joyero pero nunca habia trabajado con madera..este video me gusto mucho porque ahora se como hacer alianzas de este modelo..que madera puedo utilizar? Gracias lindo video
Awesome
Muito lindo e perfeito suas jóias! Parabéns
Amazing ring, why do you do that "holes" into the metal and the wood?
Beautiful craftmanship and videography! I think I missed something, though - you used the bur to drill little divots into the silver and into the wood, but what was their purpose? Did that somehow allow the epoxy to make a stronger bond? I didn't quite catch that part. Love your final product, also. I've subscribed and hope to see more videos!
Thank you! I cut those little notches in the silver and in the wood to line up. I fill them up with epoxy so the epoxy acts like a locking bolt kind of. The wood can't move out of the ring because the epoxy locks it in place in addition to the epoxy that just sits between the materials anyways. I hope that makes sense, it's hard to explain for me.
No, that makes perfect sense! thanks so much. Keep up the beautiful work :-)
И правда круто. Инструменты тоже классные
perfect work,incrible!!!
Very pretty
Excellent! 👍👍👍
That's awesome! 😲

Very nice
hola Silva , bonito anillo , hago algo muy parecido , pero , como puedo conseguir de esa madera exótica
Wow that is an amazing ring. Would you ever make one with Purple Heart for the wood inlays?
I do have a very nice piece of Purple Heart and have done some experiementing with it but it's a very tricky wood to work with. After cutting, sanding and oiling the wood, it's a muddy brown-ish color but turns purple again after a while. But it might change color again with time and turn brown again. I think it's sensitive to UV light, so also to sunlight. From what I read, the wood will turn brown again slowly as it's exposed to UV light regularly but the color can be refreshened by sanding the surface. However, this seems to be a whole science for itself so I'm not certain about any of this. I could definitely craft rings with Purple Heart but I couldn't give any guarantee on how the color will come out and if it might change again in the future. There are some techiniques used in woodworking where you treat the wood certain ways and often times seal it with layers of UV resistant finish which isn't really applicable for my rings. So if you wouldn't mind the uncertainty of all this, feel free to contact me about a commission. I could also make a ring with 3 different wood inlays so in the worst case, the disappointment wouldn't be too bad.
Gracias
Hi! We watched this video with great interest and pleasure. A great work !! Can you tell me, please, the size of silver wire !? Is 2*2mm or 3*3mm!? The distance between the two rings is 3mm? Thank you very much. You are a true artist!!

Hello, how are you? What do you put last?
Very good 👏👍
awesome work! When you added the two circles together with the 3 blocks, was that a special kind of joining or was it just lightly heated do they melted together?
They're soldered together.
Please tell me what gauge that silver wire is? Thank you
Really you are well talented. Can I get those rings?
Thanks. You can commission jewelry through my website www.Silva-Aurea.com
Muito bom parabéns
How do you feel about someone trying to make a ring like this?
It's not an incredibly unique design so I wouldn't be as arrogant as saying noone can copy it, even commercially, but of course I don't like seeing anyone straight up copy and sell someone elses idea. Let me know how it turned out if you try to make one!
i need to learn how to use a coping saw.
Hi, what kind of glue do you use for attaching wood to any metals?
Same question for me...
I love this ring. I am just starting out learning silversmithing. What gauge of wire did you use to create this?
2.2 millimeters
wow this is beautiful! where did you get the punch tools to do the inside of the ring? I need a set of those
Thank you. You can find the stamps in any jeweler tools store.
What model is the table saw that you use? It looks very handy! Also, what gauge is the square wire? Thanks!
It's a custom table saw made by an engineer from Croatia. Wire is 2.2 mm
А что за дерево использовали?

Absolutely amazing! What a beautiful ring. What did you do at 4:10 to buff it so well?
Thank you! That's just a regular buffing wheel with regular polishing compound.

What gauge of wire is this? I can't tell.
I'm curious about this, also. I'm guessing 12 gauge? About 2mm thickness?
Why do you drill the inside of the ring and wood?
I cut these little groves in the metal and the wood to line up once the wood is fit into the ring. They will all be filled with resin and act somewhat like a bolt reinforcing the connection after the resin hardened.
Silva Aurea thank you :)
I want it 😯😯
what glue?
超美~請問在影片裡面是925銀和木頭嗎?還是什麼材料
謝謝!是的,它是 925 銀和木頭。
感謝你的分享😍😍😍
Bahay alatnya kalau lihat mengerikan
Are you doing these with white gold?
I do work with gold and other precious metals. However, there are some implications with white gold which make it tricky for this particular ring model. Feel free to contact me through my website if you want to make an inquiry.
