It sounds like people dislike Lilith because they fear the truth that she brings.

I agree on the first statement.
And from another point of view, you're a teacher for others to see how not to fit in. Maybe I should come up with a metaphor involving lemmings, so the black sheep person is actually the one who's not following the crowd off a cliff.
It can be hard, but when you really trust yourself, then others see you as an example of not following the herd. They may still not know what to do with you always, but some will risk asking you 'what's your secret?' and then new connections happen.
Tom Jacobs I have a question, so I have Lilith in Taurus which aspects about 12 things in my chart but my first house is Lilith Quintile my Leo Ascendant. I always felt a presence that would often contradict my action. Hard to explain but long story short it’s hard to form healthy relationships without people wanting to sleep with me.

This resonated so much for me. I have Lilith in Scorpio, First house, conjunct my Ascendant. I trigger the hell out of people. I have always rebelled against what I am "supposed" to be, especially as a woman. I do not like stereotypes, boxes, or anything that tries to fence me in. My biggest dream is to be a holistic healer using Reiki, herbalism, crystals, and so on to help the collective. As well as giving women as many tools as I can to help them transform their lives.

Thank you for this. Many other videos seem to focus on some kind of projected sexuality when Lilith is in the first house, but that doesn't quite resonate with me. This spoke to me more as someone who felt shamed and rejected most of her life. I had had an inkling too that the focus of my thoughts and energy affects how others treat and respond to me and this kind of makes me think I'm less crazy about that XD

OMG so I just found this video. I have BML on my Ascendant in Capricorn and I've just recently started doing serious research into it. This entire video felt like you were speaking to ME. I have been the one who doesn't fit in, who speaks up, who doesn't shut up, who reacts severely emotionally, who is the black sheep who stands strong and fights back, and most people in my life just don't "get" me. I thought a lot of it was my strong Scorpio in my chart. But apparently, a huge chunk of it is also the BML as well. Thank you SO much for this insight! At 38 I feel like I understand a whole new layer of myself.

I've been accused of over-sharing often in the past, and stopped sharing as much because of it. I didn't understand my Black Moon Lilith or identify with how other videos said I was supposed to be. I have True Lilith Conjunct Asc within a 3 degree orb, and I have always felt like I never fit in, and always felt like people were threatened by me and tried to put me down in various ways - especially men(including my own father). I always felt I had to fend for myself.

Wow. I have Lilith conjunct my ascendant and moon in the 1st house, people tell me I have a "sexual magnetism" that is very primal (also a Scorpio sun conjunct pluto in the 8th house). It is also opposite my Chiron in the 6th house, so doing things in a weird way that's closer to the body and what the body needs is my life calling which I have been demonized for. I often used to be called "Jezebel", friends used to accuse me of trying to steal their man (in spite of this not being the case at all, lack of interest, need and desire to do so), I've had men compare my clothed body to sexual assault (MAJOR eye roll lol) - before I integrated my Chiron wound which is about accepting my body's needs, routines, and ways. I walked around thinking I was inappropriate and needed to cover up, but I wasn't wearing or doing anything inappropriate, it's just that my very physical form literally triggers people, and my Chiron in Leo directly opposite makes that louder, showy, and more rebellious.
Always been the black sheep, scapegoat, truth teller, always been told I make people uncomfortable.
I now make a living as a coach teaching women to embrace their sensuality, set boundaries, live according to their menstrual cycles, and get more in touch with their intuitive feminine energy, witchiness, and embracing their sexuality and connecting to their bodies while not living by patriarchal routines and ways of being. My mission is to rebuild the work structure to suit women's bodily cycles.

In whole sign houses, I have Lilith conjunct my Sun, and tightly conjunct my North Node, Ascendant, Neptune and Uranus in Capricorn. This makes so much sense for me! I've been told those exact things, and I remember at 7 being so angry and understanding that I didn't deserve to be treated like I was or brushed away like I was a menace and a nuisance.
I have virgo lilith in the first house square my sagittarius sun in the 4th. Much of this rings true. I grew up with an inferiority complex in regards to my self expression. For much of my youth I was fearful of speaking up for myself out of fear that I would be retaliated against. As I continue to mature I have steadily been finding my power and learning to trust and follow my intuition. Interestingly enough, one of the major sources of my power has derived from serving as an advocate for others, especially women and non-human animals, but also for anyone who is downtrodden.

Hi Denise - thanks for commenting. I'm not sure if you saw mention of this anywhere, but I also use the asteroid Lilith (1181), which seems to be about advocating for and working on behalf of marginalized populations or those who've been pushed aside by the mainstream. Your note on women and animals reminds me of that. So maybe you should also look up where that asteroid is in your chart.
I also see it (specifically the asteroid, not the true Black Moon) showing up as simply being about living counter to the status quo, like men who express feminine traits and women expressing masculine traits (regardless of sexual orientation or, even, gender identity - it's really rich and beautiful how this complexity related to the asteroid shows up). Also what I guess decades ago would have been called cross dressing. And if in aspect to the nodes of the Moon in a chart, sometimes some gender-bending or gender role reversal in the family of origin (mom's a drill sergeant and dad's a compassionate listener or whatever), as people would be finding themselves dealing with perceived expectations of the collective vs. what they feel is natural for themselves as individuals.

This help me change the pattern.
I have been drawn to the Lilith archetype and my BML in Libra and in 1st house / conjunct my ascendant (which is Virgo). It is also in my 10th house / trine my MC (which makes sense as much of my career has been working in the domestic abuse & sexual violence intervention field) and I had a dream at 15 that my lifes' mission was to heal women in crisis. I also have my Pluto in 1st house and on my ascendant and also square my MC. And sun in 8th house and moon sextile pluto. I mention these other placements as I feel they confound my BML placements and make life extra challenging in a way that is not obvious but internally very palpable and yet hard to describe. I have often felt that there is something "wrong" about me that attracts all kinds of attention and strangeness and your statement that "it gets easier when you stop believing that you deserve to be punished" was very powerful!
it's funny how answers reveal themselves at the right time. I was looking for a long time the meaning of black moon Lilith in the first house because my first house contains only Lilith and I have Leo as ascendant. They say as you moving from your 20s to 30s Ascendant is taking charge which of course it's not for each individual. Thank you for the information and best regards.

I've got cancer ascendant and I have H13 in first house (8 grades away of the ascendant), and I think that's why I'm gay *(I've seen several gay guys' charts with this placement)* besides this Lilith is quincunx to Saturn and trine to Pluto

Oh well, I have true bml in conjunction to mean bml, and both of them in conjunction to my moon in libra, in my 1st house. My emotions can be quite raw and it scares me a bit. I read somewhere that bml in the 1st house makes you wear black clothes a lot, and it's true for me. Most people would never understand my darkness and how much I loathe people who live like sheep. I seem very innocent, grounded, logical, reserved, and, although I am those things to an extent, I'm far darker than that.

I don't cover that in the book. But just off the top of my head re transiting Moon VOC, those times can be good for feeling into things, being aware of what's needed personally, as opposed to outward doing. So it might be a good time to let one's awareness drift to the kind of terrain upon which one's Lilith resides.
Re VOC Moon in a birth chart, I have no idea how to think about that at this point - haven't thought about that as a natal signature.

Esp. being with the Sun in the 1st--you doubly can't help but be seen to carry the energy. As long as you don't take any negativity personally! I think compassion for others' ... um ... malfunctions when it comes to Lilith is important. (Like blaming Lilith people for showing up, etc.)
But it also means that when you decide you have something to say, people WILL listen -- so then you can decide what you want to bring to the world--others will pay attention. (No pressure.)

Hi Megan, The Black Moon Lilith Natal Report will tell you the full story (if you are using the true position--the report is based on the true, and not the mean position, which is the most common.) It essentially means that the stakes for your ability to like and accept yourself and feel strong and confident (Pluto in the 1st) are tied to how willing you are to trust instinct and chemistry (Lilith). I am a Virgo sun who has cancer rising & BL is tightly conjunct my ascendant (which is on the Scorpio decan 😩) I also have Mars square Pluto which just makes the whole situation even worse. Throw in the Aries moon & Venus in the 1st house & Im done for. My mom didn’t seem to like me, my sisters don’t like me, my daughter doesn’t like me, my stepmom damn sure didn’t like me. The list goes on & on & on. My IC is in Libra so I’ve spent my whole life trying 2 please these people & not understanding that no matter how hard I tried it was NEVER going 2 happen. Being a Virgo I’m reserved & 4 the life of me I could NOT figure out how all these pple were receiving me. All I could conclude was that I must be paying back some really awful karma. Though it was interesting that it was always women that treated me so bad. Almost never men unless they had unevolved Leo energy. I even have BL tattooed on my wrist b/c I’m just going 2 make friends w/ her. Heck she can’t do any more than she’s already done to me. Mine is exactly conjunct my Sun and North Node (Capricorn), all of which are conjunct Uranus and Neptune at a wider orb ... Lilith has been a major theme, to say the least.
My regular Lilith is in the 1st house scorpio 27 then my true black moon Lilith is super close to that in the 1st house in Sagittarius 2. Is that weird?
I was kidnapped as a kid and missing over a year and abused every way and have had a string of traumatic unfortunate events. Saw my mom stab my dad as a 3 or 4 year old (not fatally) and remember it all. I’m trying to figure it all out and my past karma through my chart. I wondered if it was something to do with Pluto and the moon in my 12th maybe. Thankfully all the intense experiences made me stronger. I’ve always been extremely intuitive.
I’m still a newbie learning about astrology. I just heard about Lilith in relation to astrology today. I’ve always been outspoken and different with strong instant instincts, so that is definitely resonating.

Yes, it can. True black moon Lilith in the 1st house can react strongly to environmental factors like smells, noises, and others' energies and emotions (esp. anger/rage/intolerance/abusive energies) - perhaps even something you eat or drink that makes you ungrounded, or that your body doesn't like (sugar/simple carbs could definitely do that for Lilith in the 1st). It could be that you need to reset your alarm system, but I don't think it would be permanently a problem.
If you're open to it, try downloading the 13-minute grounding meditation from tdjacobs.com (at my site, click on the forest trail pic and you can download it for free). It's good for connecting with the earth/getting out of the head and into the body, and can help with a gentle clearing out of energies that do not belong to you.
I would recommend doing it twice each day for a while and seeing how it feels. I give it out to many people because it's a fundamental exercise for sanity, especially with an intense energy in your 1st house like Lilith.
That said, it could be that you are reacting to a specific stimulus in your environment, perhaps something in a person in your life (even a person at work or school). If you do the grounding meditation regularly, it's likely that you will be able to establish a new baseline of awareness of what is yours and what is not, and will be able to notice quickly what that stimulus is, if there is something around you that causes this.
Also, if you have felt punished, controlled, or abused for living like Lilith, panic attacks could be a sign that parts of you carry trauma/don't feel safe. But start with the grounding meditation regularly and see what you feel after a few weeks.

Tom Jacobs I tried the meditation in the link...as i was doing the meditation i felt a different feeling on my forehead like in the middle. Is it normal? Good, bad?
normal. as you do the meditation, energy moves. that part of your body is called the 3rd eye, and is about intuition. it's likely that you went into a meditative space doing the mp3 and that effect is normal. just make sure you're getting those cords into the earth! they are the most important, fundamental part to begin with each time.

Thanks for your analysis. This is wild. I fought with my body for my whole life because it never fit expected norms. I'm trans/intersex and naturally quite feminine. For this I received a lot of backlash, but as you suggest about Lillith, my femininity wasn't something I noticed about myself until OTHERS pointed it out and attempted to shame me for it. Everyone seemed to think I was crazy, but I knew who I was instinctually and my body did as well. I use the true position too, but I also work with the mean Lilith. I find it very interesting to investigate both positions, compare them and also in connection to Priapos. In my case for example my true Lilith and my mean Lilith are very close together. Whenever I find the true and the mean position being very close together, it seems to make the Lilith themes in the life of this person even stronger. Did you notice something like this too or do you never check for the mean position?
PS: my software has the true and the mean position, also Waldemath, but I don't really use Waldemath by now, somehow I didn't really get a contact to this one by now, although I work with the other Lilith positions since ages. I include 1181 though and this is also fascinationg to compare to the true Lilith. I also like the number a lot= 1181= 11= 2....*)))
I don't use the mean position at all, not after initial research years ago. To me, it's like asking a blow-up doll what a woman is like. It's a plasticized version of what we expect femininity to be like, not what it actually is like.

@Symbolsysteme, I’ve noticed that when true or mean Lilith conjunct the ascendant you can see it more. Mean Lilith seems more like a projection of how other people perceive your Lilith energy. True Lilith is how you feel and manifest Lilith energy internally. Marilyn Monroe is one example, her true Lilith was tightly conjunct her ascendant, but her mean Lilith (also in the 1st) was not near the ascendant. I feel that this is why men thought her Lilith was less extreme than it actually was, and could possibly tame her (mean Lilith away from the ascendant). They underestimated its potency (True Lilith conjunct the ascendant). Either way, she strongly exuded sexual energy.
Sharon Tate is another example, but of the opposite combo. Her Mean Lilith was conjunct the ascendant, but her True Lilith was not. Her eyes were cat like and alluring. She wound up dying because of the public’s perception/ reaction to her Mean Lilith. In reality, she seemed to have been less wild than she was perceived as being.

I was following my Sun for most of my life (and being conjunct DC meant I was actually following others), then all of a sudden I was overcome by lilith and now my relationships I've built up for the past decade are falling apart.
Watching this cause i recently had an awful experience with a 1st house lilithian. It's in Capricorn. Very emotionally unstable and cold person .. yet can use sexuality and emotional intuition for manipulation and very insecure but yet, somehow overly confident with seduction and demanding her own needs be met yet, unwilling to meet others needs at all. Selfish, arrogant, very critical of others and low self esteem yet, uncontrolled aggression... what I find fascinating is HOW exactly someone with lilith in 1st is expected to process such deep energy when they have a fxcking shallow moon like Leo... basic sun like Taurus? This girl... I think some people will experience such placements for personal punishment of their own selves in karmic revision without being able to process and enlighten theirselves in one lifetime... reality is, some people's lifetime might just serve a purpose for them to experience the consequences of pain they've caused others, and for others to learn hard lessons by being tread on by these dxcks may be their only by product service to society. Lol I'm currently obviously studying this bxtch as a subject...
