I'm liking this "basics" series. It's good to have a refresher for stitches that I don't use very often. And it's always great to have a teacher as clear and patient as you for the tutorials. Thank you!
This has been super helpful. I tried a more complicated one (I'm just learning now) and I crashed and burned. Thankfully I found your video which is much more user friendly! Also took me a moment to realize that everything is inverted because I'm left handed, but I'm getting there! Thank you for this really nice tutorial :)
I have tried doing this stitch with many you tube “experts lol” and I have never been able to understand what they were doing. I love your method of teaching, not at all too fast or slow and I can slow down if I start falling behind. This looks so easy to do now, I’m going to try it tonight, you’ll hear me screaming from Scotland if I can’t do it but reckon will be very easy, love from Lorraine in Scotland 🏴😘😘
I always enjoy your posts but I really like learning new techniques. I have tried this one on my own before and was frustrated and disappointed. Your instructions are so clear and easy to follow, I'm definitely going to try it again!
My pleasure, Cathy! Just take it one small step at a time, lots of pausing in between the steps, as needed. Practice, practice, and you will definitely get there! 💜💜💜
That’s a great question! I haven’t tried it personally, but it seems like it would make more of a twist that way. If you try it, you’ll have to report back. :)
That does make a pretty rope, doesn't it? Is this stitch the same as (or similar to) the Russian Spiral stitch? Thank you for the basics, I'm really new at this and love the input.
It really does! This is a different type of rope from the Russian Spiral stitch. There are so many different seed bead ropes, aren't there?! Lots to explore. 💜💜💜

💜💜💜 Thanks, Crys!
First time I have seen a very clear presentation of this technique. Thank you!
You are so welcome! 💜

My pleasure, Megan! Thanks for watching! 💜💜💜
I like your teaching style. Would it make more of a twist if you went up 4 beads instead of 3 on the 2nd twist?
