Thanks a bunch! Have you tried it out yet? In my updated review, I shared my thoughts on the gel. Wasn't too fond of it after a few uses.

Hey Danielle!! Thank you so much! 💗 So despite my upload times, the Aztec clay treatment was done on my hair right before styling with these cantu products (the same day). I included these pics in that video because I wanted to show the “styled” results as well after the treatment. So for clarification, these pictures are after styling with the Cantu products! Sorry if anything was misleading.
The point I was trying to stress was that my hair probably looks so good not only from the Cantu products, but also because I just did the clay treatment immediately before!

What does the curl activator smell like? And how strong is it? I loved the results from the original orange line but had to stop using it because the smell was so overpowering that it gave me a headache
Hi! Thank you for your comment. All of these products smell like blueberries and are a lot stronger than what I'm used to for hair products. If you've gotten headaches from the smell of Cantu before, this would probably have the same effect. Definitely a stronger smell than most hair products for sure.
Thanks for replying! I guess I'll steer clear of this line as well then... The avocado line is the most palatable, the smell is milder and less intense but I still wouldn't class it as nice, just tolerable. It's a real shame that cantu has such strong, fake scents because their curl activator and the custard worked so well for my hair but I had to look for alternatives because they smelled so bad that even my housemates and family complained :(
@@E3lx I haven’t tried the avocado line - that sounds interesting. Avocado in real life doesn’t really smell like anything so I’m curious haha 😂
Like most of their scents it's pretty artificial and hard to describe, I have never smelled anything like it. It's not exactly a nice scent imo but it's the most tolerable in their natural line.
My favourite cantu smell is from the kids line but sadly the products were disappointing, the other tolerable line is the txtr line, which smells more like a salon product, I just found the curl defining cream in that line to be a bit too light, it made my hair too voluminous for my liking and would be best for waves or fine curls. I have given cantu way too much of my money considering most of the products were disappointing in some way!
@@E3lx wow sounds like you’ve tried all of Cantu! Way more than I have. Good to know. I’ve always wondered if kids lines were any good. Finding products that work for your hair is a long process of trial and error. It took me years to finally narrow down what works for me. It will take time, just keep trying out different things!
Suggestion: talk about fortified shampoo for fast hair growth.

That gel is terrible bad for curly hair texture 3a 3b leave my hair so dry freezy absolutely no recommended
