Frankie Miller is a one off, he is out of this world, and the best listen to him on head phones then you decide the man is a legend love you frankie. Xxxxx ❤❤
Graham Deakin,hi Graham you played with Frankie on this album, what a great song and lyrics, also the whole thing is perfection, Frankie is the best ever love the man so much. Mr Frankie miller's bands could do no wrong ,wow gold thats what it is, do you still play . If so keep it up truly appreciate it, wonderful. ☺
Oh Yes! in my opinion, very similar writing styles and production values in common here b/w Segar and Miller ... i.e.-starting with the guitar tone and interplay b/w the gtr and bass.Tthe drive of the phrasing and grind in the voices are very similar ala Segar and a good dose of Delbert McClinton; especially with the bit of country blues feel on the piano.
Rory was generous enough to bring Frankie Miller into some of his gigs, you can watch that on the Live At Rockpalast DVDs. It's worse than silly to try to compare them, Frankie Miller was a much better singer but couldn't touch Rory Gallagher when it came to playing guitar. That would be the definition of trying to compare apples to oranges!
what a voice! Rock at is best
Frankie set the standard in the '70's people... not the other way around :)
Killer Album, Stellar Vocals!
Lyrics, too!

mtgbuyer....Segar quotes Frankie as one of his biggest influences...so you're on the button there Bud
@ 2:37 you hear the guitar tune form "Green River" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Who was first, John or Frankie?
Not really much comparison between those two tunes.
Don.t ever compare Rory to the Man
