- I am a keen collector of 'older' music and am very grateful to the thousands of people who have kindly shared their music on the net. I would like to share some of my records that I find, 'hard to find', on many sites, these songs are mostly on vinyl and are 2 or 3 different copies edited together to make a best version, then de-clicked etc to enhance even more. they are as close to 'mint' that I can get at this moment in time. The audio track is mp3. the pics are just for video. I hope they are the ones you are looking for

Listening to this, or anything from Frankie, in a “traditional” pub in my beloved Glasgow is something that can’t be beaten. Good for the soul.

My mate (who works on the rigs) told me he was in a bar in Aberdeen, waiting for the train home. He said there was a drunk bloke sitting in the bar with a guitar, singing.
It was only much later he found out it was Frankie.

I saw Frankie sing this song in London many yeas ago ; some bloke in the crowd started taking the piss; uncle Frank put his guitar down, stepped off the stage and nutted the guy in the face, got back on stage, picked up the guitar and finished the song.
