- You can create more than one driver profile per car. Each profile is then connected to a ConnectedDrive account. If you do not have a ConnectedDrive account yet, you can make one by using the QR-code in the Control Display. When you activate your own ConnectedDrive Account, your settings will be restored even when you are driving in a rental car.

Hi when i put my VIN into the app it says assigned to another person as its second hand can yall help me please?
So ... in order to save any personal settings such as your seat positions, mirrors, etc you have to log onto a BMW app, create a profile with personal info and abide by their terms and conditions? Sounds ridiculous and unecessary
Driver steering wheel and seat and mirror settings are stored on the key fob. Use that same key fob and your settings will be there as soon as you turn on the ignition.
When I log in with one device (with MyBMW phone app), the other device gets disconnected. Is that supposed to happen?
I've been trying for two days, the message is password and id are wrong even if they are not wrong.
Is it a bug or something?

I am writing you from Turkey. I paid thousands of EUROS and the bmw apps did not work on your IDRIVE!! The BORUSAN, your authorized dealer did nothing to solve the problem. Connecteddrive APPS DID NOT WORK!!!!!

@will homeby: Android Auto is now available with vehicles equipped with BMW Operating System 7 with BMW Live Cockpit Professional (SA 6U3). Unfortunately not retrofittable for older vehicles :-(
