Hey everybody! I didn't mention this in the video, but If you're looking to sell edible products, there may be additional things required for your state. In California, I fall under the Cottage Food Laws, so I needed to take a Food Handler's Course & get a cottage food permit. Los Angeles county also required a business license. Make sure to check your state & county for local requirements!

Their rules and laws about how you name a product, products type laws, recording product ingredients and batch numbers are extensive. You must be very careful with what you claim about a product as well, or you can get in trouble for practicing medicine without a license. Learning those laws as well as local as she mentions in the video will help ensure you don't get in trouble later down the line.
