This is great! But how do I make my written content look professional and keep it's font styles and links and calls to action? Do I make a separate page and save as a pdf, or use special software? My facebook business page doesnt look like this i dont have these options anymore ? I can`t add images anymore? Not sure when this changed but im pushed toward this Meta thing. I just changed back to classic mode to see if its the same as your showing but i still cant add images to my posts or see the publish button

How do I post custom gifs to meta business suite? Every time I do it just comes across as an image!

Are you using the regular Facebook app or the Pages app?

Thanks for the question El Mansajero TeV! Facebook won't let you do that because it would allow businesses to spam people. You can only comment as your business page on some business pages and in groups that belong to you. Hope that helps!

I have problem here. I created a Fb business page but I have hard time to find the page to share my stuff. 1:01 on your video show straight the page you can post but how did you get there? On the private Fb page there is a "What is on your mind?" tab on the top right on the home page but where it is on the Business page? I can't even find it :(

This is one of those things that Facebook seems to tinker with. You can comment on other business pages with your business page. You can only comment in a group as your business page if it is your group that is linked to your page. Does that make sense?

I have the same question. The marketing platform we use told us that option is not available. I find it hard to believe that we cannot post to a group or another's Page as our business (Paqe). I have not found a way.
You can only post in a group as your business page if the group belongs to your page. Facebook doesn't want to allow businesses to go around spamming groups.

Glad it was helpful! To comment on someone else's post as your business page (this only works on other business pages), you'll see your profile picture just to the right of the Share button under a post (just above Share on mobile). It has a tiny down-arrow. Click that and you should be able to select your business page. Then you can Like and Comment as it.

It's usually related to the privacy settings of the business page.
Thank you this was very helpful. I have one question, maybe two. When I go to post from my iPhone on FB to my business page, I cannot access my photos unless I switch to interacting as myself. Then I notice once I post if show as me posting to my business page. Well, it seems it takes forever for my customers to find posts (which sucks because there are interactive posts at times). Facebook must have had changes since you did this video. I don't see the Publish button on my page.
Hey Richard - This video is an older one and your page may say "Share Now" instead? They are also removing scheduling from the main business page, so now to schedule you can either click Publishing Tools at the top of your page, or use Facebook Creator Studio (which is free).

I have a Facebook Posting question.
I have Personal Page and a Managed Page I use for the News.
I could post to another page for either my Personal Page or Managed Page with the posting pull down arrow.
Now I can only post for the Personal Page, the pull down arrow
no longer works for the Managed Page, the message for the Managed page now appears ‘Your Page (Only Visible to You)’.
Does Facebook only want Post from known people and not from

Have you tried posting multiple places? Generally the accounts you see when you click the down arrow are determined by the type and settings of the page you're trying to post on.
Generally it is Facebook Patch Pages. Patch is a community news paper. I think they do not want a post with no personal name.

Great question! Under the post (usually on the bottom right) you'll see your profile photo with a tiny down-arrow. Click that and you can choose who to comment as. If you don't see it on some posts, that means there aren't any other options than the one selected for that post.

All business pages posts are public, there is no way to change that.
So right now my business page and is under my personal account and I'm a bit confused because for example when I join groups, I have to join as myself. Should my business page be completely separate from my account on its ok to be under my account?

How do followers on your business page see your stories? Do they have to click on your picture to see them?
If they follow your business page they should come up with the rest of the Stories in someone's Facebook feed.

Hey Mike! Just click the 3 dots or the little down arrow on the upper right of your post. That will bring up a submenu where you can delete it.

Those are both default tabs that can't be turned off on Business Pages - Are you saying yours doesn't have them? Can you share a link?

Facebook is phasing out publishing in the main box on the page - try going to your Publishing Tools across the top of your Business Page.

I have a personal page in which I link my business page. I know how to directly post to each from my computer, and iPhone, but I’m having difficulty when I want to find a photo on the internet and post it to my business page directly for a new post. When I go to upload it and press the Facebook icon, it goes to my personal page wall. Is there an easy way to either get a photo/video I find on my iPhone to post to my business page directly or even move the photo/text (the completed post) while on my iPhone to my business page? I’m fairly new to Facebook and want to use it to boost my business via social media presence so look forward to investigating more of your UA-cam videos. Thanks again for the great content! Hey Michael! Not sure what tool/browser you are using to do your posting, but you might try using the Facebook Pages Manager app - it's designed specifically for Facebook Business Pages and might let you do what you want to.

How else would they see them? In their News Feeds?
Unfortunately only about 1% of the people who have Liked your page will actually see the content in their News Feeds. The number can be higher if you have a really engaged audience, or you can spend money to boost posts to more people.

Just like most things on Facebook, everything in search is dictated by the algorithm. So even if your event is public, it may not come up if there are other more popular events. The best thing you can do is to get lots of interest in your event - Then it might show up.

Hey Lauri! Facebook posts have very limited formatting options. You can obviously add an image or video, but you can't really change text. If you use a #hashtag on a word it shows up in blue - same thing if you tag a person or page - but you can't change fonts, add borders, use bold/italics, etc.

Hey Jennifer - posting on Facebook Business Pages is free, but you can spend money to reach more people.

Congrats on your post! When you share a post, it becomes a new post. And you can't boost personal posts.

On their side it is @businessname which turns blue but we never see it on the business page. How can I fix that?
The "wall" concept on business pages is something that Facebook has sort of abandoned. I'm not really sure why. If they tagged you @businessname then you should get a notification about it - if you click on the notification you'll see it. But for it to show up on your actual timeline you'll have to share it.
On my facebook page there is no Publish button but only share now button. What to do in such case?Also I need to upload pic of a T-shirt for my eCommerce business. I don't want engagement but shop now. So how does share now button works in that case. Please help to solve my problem
Hi Cynthia! Facebook has been playing with the buttons. Share Now is the same thing as Publish.

I'm confused about what you are trying to share - Facebook Stories don't have a share function.
Why do some of our business post allow you to tag friends, but others will only give you the tag products option (and cannot tag a person)???? We do not have our SHOP set up on our account.
Trying to figure out why we get 2 different POST types on the same business page?? some allow you to tag friends, other do not give you that option and only tag product option.
Are you trying to tag the same friends every time? Usually business pages can't even tag friends.
Ultimately whether you can tag or not tag usually comes down to privacy settings for whoever you are trying to tag.

You can only comment on other business pages as your business page, not on personal pages. In places when it is possible you'll see a little down-arrow next to the comment box and you can choose who you want to comment as. If you don't see the arrow, there are no other options.

Liz again! The picture I posted seems to have disappeared (replaced by a grey box) but the link still works. I tried logging in and out of Facebook to see if the picture re-appeared but no luck. Do you have any trouble shooting tips?

There are lots of ways. You could go to school for it, or just search the internet. There is lots of free content (like I put up here on UA-cam), and there are also paid online courses you can take.

It does and it doesn't. There are certain sites that will always get demoted in the algorithm (like UA-cam), but most sites are fine. That being said, Facebook doesn't want you sending people OFF of Facebook, so links in general don't perform as well as they once did.

Hi, can you add more than two options when posting a poll to a buisness page?
It doesn't appear so Ally. I think they removed that option when they allowed pages to put images and GIFs in their polls last year.
An alternative option would be to test 2 variables at a time. So first you could run a poll saying, "A or B?" Then if A wins, you could run a poll asking, "A or C?"
Or you can add to your question, "If you have a different answer than those listed, leave it in the comments!" That might muddy your results, but it also might get a bunch more engagement. Hope that helps!

Hey Barry! Facebook doesn't allow that. It would lead to businesses spamming personal profiles so that's never been allowed.

The group would have to allow Pages to join, and if they do you can post in the group. But it varies from group to group.

Hello there, Thanks for that education.. one of things I wanted to ask you is how to embed a link to a picture or a video so when someone clicks anywhere on that picture or video it will directly take them to that link . or is it the same as adding a link and adding a button at the bottom of the post. Im not sure if someone will only be taken to the directed link page if they click on the call to action button or if they click anywhere on the post they will be taken to that link..could you please clarify that it will be much appreciated ..Thanks
There is no way to have someone click on a video and go to an external link - you need to share the link in the text/caption area.

When you post something it will show up on your Timeline (home) as well as Posts. And if it's a photo it will also show up on the Photos tab.

Great question! From all I've seen that isn't possible yet. You can share a post from your page on your personal profile's story, but it isn't set up like Instagram where you can share a post to a business profile's story.

Hey Carlvic! Unfortunately that isn't possible. I think the reason is Facebook doesn't want someone to rank up 1,000 likes with a photo of puppies, then change it to something else, misleading those who engaged and the new people who saw it.

I own 60+ fanpages, is it possible to make 1 post en post them at once on all fb fanpages I have?
Unfortunately not. You could do it with a third party tool, but with 60+ pages it would get really expensive.
