How to Replace Sealed Flush Mount Trailer Light

  • In this video, I show you how to replace a sealed flush mount LED light on SureTrac car hauler. The only tool you will need for this is a plant screwdriver or straight pry bar. You will also need Dielectric grease. Sorry for the camera shake. I left my tripod inside, and cold hands make shaky videos.

    Was going to comment, when the warm new grommet gets cold, it will shrink... just remember shrinkage when ya jump into a swimming pool. I’m having the same issue with the lights I replaced, they slop around... so, I took caulking/glue/adhesive and attached the back side of the grommet to the metal... hopefully problem solved!

    It is a good idea to leave the original rubber grommet in place. After 6 hours, the new grommet is still to small for the hole.
