I miss the 80s. It was fun, music, movies and TV were great.
It (some of it) was an oasis of creativity between two barren deserts.
Well everyone was on cocaine lol
@@RossIsFine 😂😂
TB sinto falta daquela época, ainda bem que vivi tudo aquilo
100% made in Italy, 100% italo disco
OMG this song was huge back in the day! I had forgotten all about this song. It was a one hit wonder that haven't heard since midfle school! Brings back tons of memories.😍
Now used by Jack Perry's wrestling song! (Luke Perry's son)
He was caught lip syncing. Jimmy is not the real singer of this song. They only used Jimmy for his looks. He is now dead due to Aids.
This singer's life was so TRAGIC. 💔😢
I had only 8 years when this came out and i never stop listening ever since . Here in Portugal, it was a huge radio hit 😉🇵🇹
We had such innocence....but full of love.
Lost some beautiful people in that era it’s hard at times to hear some of this 80’s music. Triggers memories faces and places
Absolutely 👍🏿
RIP Jimmy. Thanks for sharing your gift with us. One hit wonder and will live on forever.
I just started watching AEW last month and one of the guys uses this as his intro song. Been hooked on the song ever since
@@theuglybarnacle885Jungle Boy Jack Perry! 🎉
Yes the wonderful world of 80's one hit wonders
The song Tarzn Boy was written by Maurizio Bassi and Naimy Hackett, and released in 1985 loved the 80s
THIS ……..is what was known as 80s Italo Disco. A heavy beat electronic sound from Italy. Was funny listening to Italians attempting to sing in English, but the lyrics were not the emphasis. Infectious, hook ladend and VERY popular in euro and gay clubs in the 80s.
I used to love this song in high school. I hear it at the grocery store every now and then. Shawn's face during the first few seconds of the Tarzan Boy video 😂😂😂
Always loved that song & your reaction to the song is great!
Just one of 100's of amazing songs in the 80's
It´s soo catchy you can sing it all day long,,haha,,,,,LOVE FROM SWEDEN❤❤❤
I love this song, they played this song back in the 90’s when I was a kid at the skating rink miss those days. I grew up with the 80’s thank god to my parents, I’m a 1991 baby so I just turned 30 in October, but I love the 80’s music and movies and style. I also watch AEW which is a wrestling show and one of the guys his name is jungle boy and he has this song for his intro and I love hearing it every time.
1992 here, yes anything from the 80's and 90's are gems.
This was a huge song here in Montreal when it came out they still play it on French radio.
All over the world this was a Massive hit. Sadly Jimmy's not with us anymore sadly died too soon. Derry loved you lad ❤🍀🇮🇪
Yep the Tarzan call from this song was used in the Listerine commercials, with a bottle of Listerine swinging on a vine like Tarzan
This is a great song. Very catchy and lots of positive energy.
Bring back memories to disco clubs in hr '80s. 😎
The singer who contributed to Baltimora passed away in 1995 of Aids he dreamed of getting his music out there and Im happy he did before passing away. His parents disowned him for coming out to them as Gay, despite that he left his parents for kicking him out and moved to Italy to be an EMT for Red Cross but then he met a Producer which made this beautiful song "Tarzan Boy" 🙏🔥🙏
That is so sad. I didn’t know that. I’m so glad I heard this Song in Stranger Things 4 Vol 1 in episode 2, May 27th the day it premiered the fourth season VOLUME 1, It sounded so awesome! I quickly searched that song, watched the music video. Then added it to my playlist on Apple Music. It pops in my head whenever I don’t think of it. Oh, how I wished to live in the 80’s.
He wasnt the singer just the face
@Chris 61982 no HE was the voice look it up if you want 👏🙌
@Alessandro I did it was an Italian named Maurizio Bassi
@@reignnyjoseph7355 Jungle Boy brought me here lol
“Tarzan Boy” is my favorite song … so nice to see people enjoying it!
I love this 80's hit. I love the music video too. This is the music I listened to in my school years.
Gotta love that Tazan yell hook
Tarzan used to "holla" for the wild animals to help him fight the bad guys! Also, he "found" a boy and named him ""Boy" and made him his som. Crazy stuff!
A Marylander here…born and raised hon 😉❤️🦀 Happy Thanksgiving to you two Shawn and Mel You two are so positively 🤩 fun
The 'simpleness" of 1980 music.....
🇸🇪
My mom used to danced to that song at the 80s like crazy! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I remember this in a commercial but I forget what for. It's such a fun song love it.
Baltimora,Baltimore, from Milan, Italy (1984-1987) basic they are a one - hit wonder.
The lead singer Jimmy McShane (who actually didn't sing the songs) was from Northern Ireland.
He did actually sing on this song yes was born in Northern Ireland
Listening at work. Keep working or stop for a dance break. Right, dance it is 😃
Essa música da minha infância. Que saudade da banda Baltimora. Se foi muito cedo aos 37 anos. Mas ficará eternamente em nossos corações. I love you Baltimora.
Trivia..the song was written and song by an Italian music producer. The guy in video was a backing singer who fronted the band and lip synched the song. A talented dancer and singer himself from Northern Ireland UK who moved to Italy. This song was their biggest hit worldwide in 1985.
Did we ever dance to this one!!! 🕺 👯♂️ 💃
This song is soooo cool!
I LOVE THIS 80S SONG...❤
I was a nightclub dj and got this requested from 85 -87. Great dance song.
Les meilleures années !!!!
80’s👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Jimmy McShane didn't perform the vocals for Baltimora but was used as a frontman and video guy for what was just a group made up by the producer in studio, like quite a few were in the Italo Disco genre. He was somewhat like the forerunner of what Milli Vinilla became.
Well do you have a proof ?
@@gringofr06 Fellow Italo disco producer Tom Hooker has claimed that Baltimora's lead vocals were performed by Maurizio Bassi. Bassi formed and produced the band. Hooker was the voice behind Den Harrow another successful Italo Disco artist. As Den was used as a handsome front man, McShane was probably used similary. No definitive proof but it was common practice during that era.
@@gringofr06 the proof is: ask to all italians if this thing is true. Baltimora was an italian project and the singer in studio was an italian.
@@gringofr06 it's true.... every live performance of this song is lip synced... just like milli vanilli.... still a great song
Yes,very true Watch History of classic on Tarzanboy
Thats the first time in 30 yeras I heard this song, totally forgot about this one..
Aww this couple is so cute ❤. I like your reactions
Youu have to react to "Boys (Summertime Liove)" by Sabrina. A total 80's europop banger and Sabrina was a total star for so many reasons (especially two!)
This was a huge radio hit in NYC. I love the synthesizer behind the Taran yell
It was a major hit all over Europe - and I still love it. Italodisco rules.
This is almost the textbook definition of a guilty pleasure. Everyone's heard it, it's used in movies, TV shows and commercials, but almost no one will admit to actually liking it (even though a lot of them do).
Awesome song. Now I need to rewatch the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies lol.
Such a fun song
Italo music from 1986 ... it was a great time ... RIP Jimmy McShane(Face from Baltimora)
BALTIMORA: TARZAN BOY = 1985
It's an awesome song, very catchy, one of my favourites.
You should give Culture Club - Karma Chameleon a listen
Again a huge hit of 80's ! (encore une énorme tube des années 80 !)
The song speaks about how to be oneself in everyday life. According to the lyrics we only depend on ourselves to survive in every area of the real world which the singer associates as a jungle. By being oneself and having confidence in our instincts we can endure on this world and make it being our oyster.
❤️❤️🥰🥰❤️❤️ I hope your dauphinois is STILL ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! ❤️❤️🥰🥰❤️❤️. Well … that was a first for me as well! I’ve never heard that song before, and I can honestly say it didn’t suck!!!😂🤣😂
Class!c 💥💯
В конце 80-х, каждый день в течении месяца, слушали с ребятами в пионерлагере данный альбом. Это незабываемо!!!!!!❤❤
You sweet people. I love you so much!
If you like this song, you should check out "Higher Love" by Steve Winwood.
"Ca Plane Pour Moi" PLASTIC BERTRAND. This french 80s song will rock your socks off lol
This song was on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 soundtrack.
Its sounds like new wave 80s
Shawn your facial expressions are priceless. We nearly pissed ourselves watching you react to Boney M - Daddy Cool. Oh god hysterical.
Whoooqah this just took me back to 5th/6th grade in the 80s.
All I can think of when I hear this is Chris Rock swinging back and forth from that palm tree in Beverly Hills Ninja 🤣🤣🤣🤣
For another fun song try Walk The Dinosaur by Was Not Was. It's A catchy, fun tune. Love watching you two...
Good song

☮️💙
This is catchy💖
look up the video Tarzan Boy Seth MacFarlane.. it's only a few seconds long
I get to hear this most weeks on AEW dynamite 🧨
Same here man, suits Jungle Boy perfectly
You just brought me back to 5th grade, but minus the awkward hair.
This song rocking anyway
Have they ever seen a Tarzan movie before this? Weismuller or any, Skarsgaard...
People ask what does Tarzan have to do with anything in this song?
As an 80's kid we know it has nothing to do with anything. In the 80's people were coked out of their minds making hits.
I say bring back the cocaine baby😂😂😂
Used by Jungle Boy in AEW
came to see if anyone said this lol
Now do Oh Lamore. It's in a Renault Clio commercial
Check out Radiorama Aliens or Yeti.
