Dude, I am in complete awe. I might have to sit with your video for the next few months and learn what you have so obviously made look so easy. When people honor Frank with covers like these, I am moved, touched, and inspired. Great job.
That's so generous,@@AndyBartoshGuitarExperience; the mark of a true 'player'. I've been playing for over fifty years and met people who won't share a thing. Star man!
i've been searching for a complete version of this song for about 5 years, i heard a version with more slapping (maybe zappa's but it just stops) this is as close to the version that i had in mind.
wow. beautifully played and recorded. it's nice to see how much acoustic guitar was hidden in this song just waiting to be let out ... (also ... thx below for the tuning tips; the melody does kind of beg for a leadbelly approach w/nice open string resonances). also ... really nice rhythm ... it's a very gentle song, it kind of inhales and exhales ...
Beautifully arranged and executed, but what was that jump/edit at 1:56? I thought it was my imagination, but the clock in the background leapt forward as well.
lieber andi, das war sehr supa,)) magst nochamal a version mochn oba mit a biserl mehr steckn im oarsch - es kann doch a a weng weh tun is jo schließlich da zappa - so hob ichs jedenfalls bei dir glernt - wast des mit der Spannung und der auflösung und so... dankda sche

That's a great interpretation. Acoustic guitar really shows the quality of a tune, and this tune has buckets of it.🤙
