Oh, that sweet noise of a lexan body grinding on rock. She's not new anymore.😎 Another great video. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one.
The SCX10 PRO is a killer comp truck! I drove this truck for the 2023 season where i won 5 outta 6 rounds. I was most suprised on how stable it was, allways knew how it would handle, even with little drivetime on it.
Shorten the motor wires by clipping the wires to length and re using the bullet connectors and just de solder and re solder. Just did it in my R2 buggy.
I’ve got my pro setup for class 2 rn. I’m running stock gearing and a fusion 1200 and it’s an amazing setup. Throws down a ton of torque, never gets hot, and has the speed in certain situations. It sidehills better than 99% of other trucks. Loving it!
Try changing some esc settings to reduce heat. I have a Rhino esc/outrunner that was getting hot. I dropped the drag brake down a bit and lowered their version of FOC and it’s fine now.
Great video! I’ve got a pro kit also..just the fusion SE 1800 with some other goodies! I’m torn between my VRD Carbon and Pro to which one I like the best…they both do great and both have pros and cons!
Sweet driving and cool lines I love my Pro. My kids blessed me with one for Father's Day. I disagree with the Revolver not having the torque of a Fusion....it has way more torque than the Fusion. Maybe the HW has better FOC than Furitek so it feels that way. About have my fleet has Fusions and the others have Revolver except two, and they have 4274S Puller Pro's. And the Revolvers nearly cimpare with the torque of the 4274S bigblocks...the Fusion aren't even close. I'm going to try out a Rhino AM32 80amp( 8s capable) w/ 10amp bec. The specs seem much better than the Furitek and at $50 cheaper. You made a good point about Holmes...the lack of a bec is the only reason I haven't bought one. He absolutely has the best motors IMO.
On a lot of the smaller stuff that I mess with I run no drag brake but that's because they're warm gear-driven there is TRX for M which is ring gear and pinion and you do have to have drag brake I have noticed their stuff does run hotter and there has been people catch fire thank you Logan bro you're driving is insane that's where I get a lot of it from
My Pro is slightly more planted than my VRD. My VRD has better clearance by nearly 1/4". Both are awesome and I do most of my crawling with these two trucks......unless I have the Bully2 out on the rocks. Another great video, thank you Logan.
Great video WDW, Definitely on the list to get. It seems like it just works with those straight axles. Also having parts made by Axial for their platform is always good support. Crawl on 🤙🏻🍻
turn the drag brake rate down on the python to less than 30 percent and it may help with heat. I also geared down when I went up in kv on my vrd. Stock gearing was drawing to much heat. 3/10 of these escs have quit as of what has been sold through my local hobby shop. Feel a little bad as I was the one who said these systems were so amazing after getting my pre order. on the bright side everyone is getting warranty replacements eventually.
That’s the same set up as the bug you had out it must’ve made a good impression if you put one in yours I’m thinking of a 1:10 scale Furitek set up as well.
I have ran a silent esc with the hh 2040kv snub nose all last comp season and the grunts and groans also happen with my scx10 pro. I recently built another scx10 pro with the brazin oracle chassis with the fusion pro and it is a much smoother and quieter setup. Now if they would just make a 4s capable fusion....
My VRD (and other vanquish rigs I own) have all randomly had noisey spur gear mesh….one of my solutions was to mess with the multiple holes positions ….for some reason that’s worked on everyone of my noisey annoying gear whine …..I think it helps center the spur to the hub.
The spur gear doesn’t really get centered correctly by the 3 screws, and this caused a “wow wow wow” noise on my VRD, because the mesh was constantly changing
He did a review on one axial had sent him to test out, I think it was a pre- production one, Harley designs received one also that he did a review on but had to send back
Btw I hate furitek my complaint stems from the smaller scale but once you activate the drag break you get nothing but heat from their ESC. I doubt this is a just me thing as many people I know have ran into the same problem
(1:14) "roughly"... ...Yuh know... I have been wondering if the "forward & down-low weight" has been a potential "partial" mistake by some of us...!!? 🫢🤔 Maybe, this needs to be reconsidered, or we have a one-off situation !!? 🤨 ...Please let all of us know what happened "here". 👍
Amazing rocks you got to use there. The first scratch always hurts the most. The pro seems to climb really well considering the conditions 👍

I heard the FOC tech make esc run hotter than normal anyway.
I'll keep that in mind. I just picked up a Rhino.

The only time my pro falls short is on steep right leaning climbs. It likes to lift the front driver tire at times where my VRD climbs through.
I’ve been thinking about one of these trucks since introduced. Glad to see a ScxPro review amidst all the VRD press. Makes me want to buy one again.
Sweet driving and cool lines

Just finished my pro kit this weekend with the portal axles

Love your videos! Thank you for the great content.
I have been running my pro with a 2300kv 2n1 firmament, also heard good things about the hobbywing system in the pro as well
I love watching Logans videos when the truck is about to take a hit he lets her eat it
“Pro things”. Thats what Luis and I say when running them. They just work.
I run the same esc with a team spec 540m with an 1100 at 8.4 and I haven’t noticed any esc heating problems
Great video Logan. I'm considering a stance... john
Looks good out there
Good driving Logan. I'd say axial did their research on the design of that chassis
When will we see the SCX6 again?? Got one a little while back and would love to see another awesome video on it!
Makes two of us I’ve been thinking about setting mine up to work vs the tank it is
Make that 3
Before going to a lower kV, I’d love to see how changing to the portal Pro knuckles changes the truck, all else being exactly the same!
Killer video as always logan!!!
How does it compare to VRD? I would assume pro is a bit more planted but has more torque twist when climbing?
I bought the Pro last year and the VRD carbon this year. gives me the option of running a straight axle or portal class 2 depending on the terrain
Great vid as always Dogan.
I love watching these videos, but I always chuckle when he talks about the rocks being wet here in the Northwest the rocks are always wet
If you get the chance to drive on these rocks dry or moist there is a HUGE difference in traction that’s why I make sure to note it in the videos
I run the furitek system with the 2000kv in my vrd and it’s definitely happier and cooler on 4s then it is on 3s.

Having the foc that high on that set up will cause it to get hotter faster from what I've learned. Def find a setting in the middle range for foc

Are there any certain pros or cons with running overdrive vs underdrive or vice versa?
I really want those wheels…damn
You have no heat issues with that motor sec combo on straight axles?
Logan i have both,and i like both.
Just cant get over the noisy spur gear of the VRD.
I did pre order the protal axle kit for the PRO.
My VRD (and other vanquish rigs I own) have all randomly had noisey spur gear mesh….one of my solutions was to mess with the multiple holes positions ….for some reason that’s worked on everyone of my noisey annoying gear whine …..I think it helps center the spur to the hub.
@@markcole6475 okay kool, thank you for the advice.the vrd is a great rig,but I can't get pass that annoying noise.
The spur gear doesn’t really get centered correctly by the 3 screws, and this caused a “wow wow wow” noise on my VRD, because the mesh was constantly changing
@@bouncingnoise I tried multiple hole positions to get it centered as best as possible
Sweet, should I get one?
Dude I watched that rear end Flex when he was trying to push it through their I can literally watch the axle housing Flex
I’d run a 2040 kv it’s a good in between
I’m jealous! Every time that I go on Spec RC, they’re sold out and not accepting orders! Do I just have bad timing or do I need an in?!?!?!
Follow their Instagram
How do u like those multi piece axles
Do you vent any of your tiers when using sl3d?
Always
Would be nice to see the megalithics and superswampers compared on terrain your running on now... traction comparison
Very nice driving as usual
I agree. I’d like to see this truck with a more comp style tire.
Nice 👍🏾
We just decided to swap my wife's comp pacesetter pro out for a hardline Vrd so I think I'm gonna toss in a fusion and have the pro be my trail truck
🎉🎉
i think your lack of torque is from the furitek
esc. all the HH revolvers I've used with castle or HH escs have had tons of torque
I’m confused, I thought you already had one of these?
Nope
I think what he had was a rock pirate chassis with a pro body.
He did a review on one axial had sent him to test out, I think it was a pre- production one, Harley designs received one also that he did a review on but had to send back
I still don't know what I want a vrd or a pro 👌
Both are great
I went from a fusion pro to a team spec 1800 and silent assassin esc and 4s it's much better in my opinion
I wanna see 30% OD then throw the 40 ud for 70% instead of dig
Btw I hate furitek my complaint stems from the smaller scale but once you activate the drag break you get nothing but heat from their ESC. I doubt this is a just me thing as many people I know have ran into the same problem
Does anyone else move their phone around while watching like an old Nintendo video game controller?
Slow crawl all the way!
@#mrjoshuasjourneyzz!!! Rc content thizz spring/ summer!!!!

It’s very steep with an off camber rock under the rears causing the front to wash out with low traction. Has nothing to do with the weights
@@westdesertwheeler ...I was talking about du "forward"/down-low motor-weight. 😉
