Sheeeesh! First Inferno Rider smashed Mavuika in terms of animations and now this Dragon of Dirge! On one hand, we have limited 5 star characters which costs you a lot of money, and on the other hand you have echoes that you can grind endlessly.
Everything about Ayato is so lazy, I just think the effects are pretty, but everything else about him was clearly done half-heartedly, even his demo is really poorly done.
If WuWa didn't have an Inferno Rider boss, their lore would definitely fit a character riding a bike but on Genshin!!? It's not even the technology thing or whatever but it just doesn't fit at all. It's like Hermione Granger discovers she got a gift from her great great grandma and it's a freaking 50 caliber sniper.
Harry potter with guns was actually funny and for the time period i do believe revolvers at the very least existed, so it made sense at some level if the characters had guns
While it would be out of theme, at least it would still make sense considering HP's settings. A better analogy is like, "Frodo getting a Harley-Davidson bike made by Gandalf."

i never fought the dragon of dirge yet but his echo skill is a step-up from Jue, you can now launch yourself in the air (and perform a plunge, which is only xianyun can do but free) while raining meteors... can't wait to fight it soon when i am gonna play the story on thursday P.S. is the dragon of dirge a fusion or a new set? P.S.S. does Lorelei have echo?
The fairest WuWa character to compare to the shown Genshin characters here is Shorekeeper's ult. And I say fairest, because even compared their ults to SK, 1. She literally gives the sky aurora borealis everytime she activates Astral Modulation, 2. Area of effect's visual effect just looks better. 3. And my favorite: her ult's dmg relies on intro skills, which encourages shifting characters and be good enough to see that burst of damage. And that looks no-less amazing.
yeah yeah I like Wuwa animation..qol and etc etc but i have been playing genshin for more than 3 years now so I will probably stick to it till the end❤ I also play wuwa for main story only 😊

I really hate the "combat" of genshin character kit and skill. The first are the exact what I mean. It's a stationary static aoe. But it's really suit with the direction of elemental I guess. Not a fond of that. I used to play genshinb for saying this btw.
Not to mention putting a bunch of animations in their normal attacks but the characters get like 3-4 seconds tops for field time and their normal atks dont even do dmg

Doesn't the character comparison video demonstrate this? There is no need to disregard what has been shown. When a new Genshin character is released, everyone will notice whether their moveset is similar to Xiangling, Xingqiu, Kazuha, or other older OP characters. Even the normal attack sequences are nearly identical across various weapon categories. It appears that not much effort was put into creating new moves, and only minor modifications were made to existing characters. Even the newest character, Mavuika, seems to be just a Pyro version of Raiden Shogun. Please refrain from teaching me if you do not truly understand.
