They should try to make with it with strong magnets holding it down the paper instead of spikes. Also, magnets wouldn't waste any cardstock. Just saying.
I was hoping this would be just as great as their other products; however, that wasn't the case. The performance of this item is terrible and quite disappointing. This is going right back to the store.
Wish I had come to the comment section before buying this at hobby lobby. It was alright for cutting but made little prong marks in the rest of my paper ruining the rest of paper. Doesn’t creative memories have a version of this now?
I just received mine today from HSN and was pretty disappointed. It did cut perfect circles, and much easier than it was for her (maybe she was pushing down too hard on it), but it has issues. 1. You have to use a large enough piece of paper to go beyond the circle so that at least 2 of the 4 little prong things can poke through the paper to hold it in place. You have now ruined that part of the paper the prongs went through. 2. From a 6x6 piece of paper, you can only cut a tiny circle. 3. Since you cannot use a small piece of paper, there is a lot of waste in addition to where the holes have been poked, to just cut a plain circle. 4. It can't be used to cut a certain part of the paper out, for instance a flower, unless that part happens to be in the middle of a large piece of paper. I was excited for this product so I would be able to see exactly where I was cutting, unlike other circle cutters I've had, which would enable me to cut out a pretty part of the paper or something from a photo. Even though on the HSN demo they mentioned, and showed an example of, cutting faces out of a photo, unless it's at least 6x6, you can't do it. Having said all that, I tried using a couple pieces of tape to hold a small piece of paper in place, and it worked perfectly. That's kind of a pain, but it's still faster than using my die cutting machine if I want some quick circles or one of something particular. This looks like another product We R memory Keeper's didn't think through thoroughly. It should have a magnet system as opposed to little prongs poking holes, which would avoid paper waste and also allow you to use smaller pieces of paper.
I'd had my eye on the Card Punch tool awhile back but never bothered for the very reason that the base punches holes in the sides of the paper or photo you're cutting to clamp it down, effectively ruining and wasting the extra on either side.
I just bought one - and had to come on here to figure out how to use it. It's awful... I'm sorry. I was really excited about it, but it's going back to the store. It's very difficult to use and didn't cut the full circle even after spinning it several times.
so, to get one little circle I have to ruin a hole sheet of 12x12 paper, because it punches a hole bunch of holes in it? And then it looks like i need a bodybuilder to move it. Why would anyone want this? I think everything is better than this tool to cut a circle.
Glitter & Chocolate they didn't think this tool through at all. It's a knockoff of the coluzzle from back in the day but the coluzzle was designed much better
Maybe she was just using a 12x12 sheet of paper for the demonstration? As long as you make the sheet large enough for your circle (and it stays put as you make the circle) it shouldn't need to be that large of a sheet. It would still put the holes in it though. They needed to use magnets like the stamping thingies. Sorry, I don't know the actual name of the product, but the thing where you put your paper on one side and the stamp on the other so you can position it and restamp multiple times in the same spot. That uses magnets to hold the paper in place.
I am struggling to use it. You can't barelly see the slot, you have to use magnifier and still the blade does not insert. If I am going to spend 10 minutes to put the blade, it's not worth it. I will have to return
I just recently purchased one of these, only used it a few times, and it keeps on jamming up. When I look at it closely where the channels are, looks like shreds of paper down in the channels. I think that is why it keeps jamming up on me. How do I get the channels cleaned out? I have wasted quite a bit of paper already. It would be so nice if it didn't jam up so much.
After mine kept on jamming up and not cutting properly, I wrote to the Memory Keepers site. The reply I got back from them was, "They never heard of anyone having any problems with this tool". Maybe they need to see the comments here for this video? What do you think?
It was impossible to spin with the little handle. But it was easy to turn when I used my whole hand and turned it . Almost like a Dj haha that’s the only way I can describe it
I definitely do not like this product. I feel the same as another person said “ I wish I had taken a closer look at this tool” I got mine from Amazon and I hope they will let me return it. “
I love we r memory keepers Products, but they need to return to the drawing board with this one. It is impossible to turn most of the time. Way to complicated to use. Waste paper as well. Sorry guys this one is a NO for me.

I recently purchased this tool and it works great. I have no idea why some people are complaining.
I will trade you my tool for your's. It is not the best in my opinion.

I envision needing new blades frequently which won’t be easy to find. Ultimately, we’ll find these at Tuesday Morning PDQ.
I just ordered mine!! Thanks!!

She did say she was using a heavy piece of cardstock though. If it were a lighter piece of paper, the blade would probably go through much easier.
Julie Waters but still ruin a 12x12 paper

@@imjuliewaters I have tried it with regular printer paper. It still isn't the best tool.
Sorry, not going to be rushing out to get this. Rather use a die, this saves on paper.
Creo lo mismo , por eso no compraré está herramienta.
Is possible to use this tool also for fabric???
I am struggling to use it. You can't barelly see the slot, you have to use magnifier and still the blade does not insert. If I am going to spend 10 minutes to put the blade, it's not worth it. I will have to return
Seems difficult to use and what a waste of paper!
This doesn't look very user friendly at all. And why does it punch two holes at the bottom of your paper?
I love mine.
Can you cut fabric on it?
Martha Stewart had something like this. I own it. And it's not very good.
chelsiemalfoy I know! I’d forgotten about that thing, and can’t believe I still have it after all these years! 😱.

Glad I didnt buy it 🤪
I’ll just use my Creative Memories large circle maker and die cuts.
It’s frustrating using this one. I have not used mine in a year. Plus I only tested it out once!!

I can see all kinds of injuries with this!
No thanks. Bulky, hard to use ... I will stick with circle dies.
I'd rather use my Cricut Explore
This one I'm definitely getting
Just wondering Wandy, did you purchase this, and how is it working out for you. This is now 2 years since your post.
@@GeminiDolly52951 hiii no didnt buy it after all 🤪
I bought one at Walmart in Puerto Rico and it is hard to use and a waste of paper. I would not recommend it.

This does not work at all
