2:43 - Has anyone who ever worked at McDonald’s ever taken as much pride in their work as this guy seems to?

Who would have though that the Cutlass Supreme and Calais would live on with the lowrider community.

1:11 and 11:15--Ah, the aspirin/pain reliever wars of the 70's!
2:42--McDonald's had some great commercials even before their classic jingles "You deserve a break today" and "It's a good time for the great taste of McDonald's."
4:20--Wow; I don't remember International Harvester producing an SUV-type vehicle (though I do remember riding an IH school bus).
6:20--My father really liked that "How the West Was Won" series.
8:21--A great, largely forgotten KFC jingle.
9:01 and 14:57--Laverne and Shirley is a true classic. It sometimes resurfaces on the retro network MeTV.
9:06--They had cola wars back then too! I can see how this would have led to the New Coke fiasco a few years later.
11:46--This may be one of the catchiest jingles ever for a laundry product.
12:16--I always thought The Ropers wasn't half bad, despite making many of the "worst shows of all time" lists. It has resurfaced on the retro network Antenna TV from time to time, usually paired with its parent series.
13:17--A very young Ricky Schroder, who would go on to star in the show "Silver Spoons" a few years later.
13:48--The Miller beer jingle is a classic.
16:31--The music in the Fiat Strada commercial is Giuseppe Verdi's "Triumphal March" from the opera "Aida."
17:01--Swanson pretty much invented frozen meals, but with the exception of pot pies, that brand has pretty much disappeared.

Colony Chilled Light Burgundy- The glasses that the man in the white apron is wearing in this commercial looks just like Harry Potter's.
Campbell's Soup For One- Considering nowadays that soup cans are so small, that, they could feed just one person, the cans of soup in this commercial look so small, that, the serving size would be more like a snack than a meal.

From Russia With Love-IMO one of the best Connery Bond era films
International Harvester Scout-the couple later challenged them to a off-road race
Salvage 1-ABC should make a gritty reboot of this, along the lines of"For All Mankind"
How The West Was Won-barging through the door of someone wielding a shotgun was a bad idea
The Ropers-still think they shouldve went back to Three's Company after their spinoff was cancelled
BF Goodrich-ill advised way to avoid a speeding ticket-just point up and say "look..the Goodrich blimp!!"
The Champ-ending gets me every time..
Miller High Life-the start of this ad looked like a prequel to Backdraft
The Mackenzies Of Paradise Cove-"..and the way how you can prove it? Don't invite any undesirables to the luau!"
Vegas-any trap involving the Landers sisters might not be deadly 😆

22 - I think that dude with the mic reminds me of Bob Hilton; remembered more as announcer than host, though he did emcee early episodes of the Dick Clark produced 1990 version of Monty Hall's Let's Make a Deal.

It is Bob Hilton, who did have on camera experience nationally in 1977-78 as the host of the revival of Truth or Consequences. Barker could not return because he was called to replace Dennis James on the weekly syndicated Price is Right.
