This was Fantastic Sienna I really learned a lot and i Love the Little Tongue Drum that you Travel with Thank you so much for Educating us The New One is really Cool❤❤❤
@@sphericalspice I was so excited when I walked in that store to buy that tongue drum. I was debating with myself on whether I should buy the tongue drum from the music store, or the one from the new age store. I’m glad I made my choice. I’m hoping to get some softer mallets so I can play some medatative sounds on it.
@siennaprice1351 It remembers me when I've been going to a music store to buy my western style accoustic guitar over 10 years ago. At first I bought a cheap Stratocaster replica at a supermarket.
@@rollsroyce7325 you are so welcome. They are very relaxing. I recommend getting one, if you can find one that’s not expensive. I also recommend the kalimba. It’s basically a thumb piano. You pluck the metal tines of the kalimba with your thumbs. The kalimba with the tongue drum. Ooh, I think I have some ideas of what I could do with those two instruments.
@@pikmin4743 ha ha thank you. In all seriousness, I’m very humble about my gift of perfect pitch. But I’m not better than everybody else. I’m sure there’s somebody else out there who is better than me, and that’s ok.
Wow i like the sounds of the drum, and wind pipes..love these sounds, there are soo relaxing. I have enjoyed this video Sienna and thank you for explaining the instrument and everything...🎶💜
@@moen4645 thanks so much. Yes, they are very relaxing. What I like about the tongue drum is that you don’t have to think about it, you can just play it and there’s no wrong notes.
Since you like music, I thought I would recommend a musician that I find fascinating, his name is Peder B Helland, and one of my favourites is the ~ Dance of Life. 🌷
@ oh! I’ve heard his music! I love it! I also love music by Roberto Cacciapaglia, Neil Tatar, Alyssia Tromblay, Bill Leslie, Cusco, David Darling, Will Ackerman, and so many other new age artists. I also love Lifehouse. They’re a contemporary rock band.
Cool as Hell. Thanks! Was not familiar with that instrument. Now I am. I try to compose and make some occasionally not so unbearable noise with my Guitar. But one skill that I do know that I do not have is Perfect Pitch. I can certainly figure out some simple melodies by ear pretty efficiently. But ... Perfect Pitch? No way. Not even close. Different people have different strengths. You have yours ... obviously. I have mine (even if not so obviously), and the rest have theirs. And if it makes you happy and no one's getting hurt, then ENJOY it!!! Good for You! Rock On! 🎼TD

@@Poppet-e3p thanks. I love the tongue drum. It’s just as relaxing as the kalimba or the singing bowl or the wind chimes.
I like your good mood and happyness! You are giving good vibes!

@@siennaprice1351that is what I thought too as I was listening, but yet I also thought that with practice one can enjoy beautiful pieces.🎶
@ oh yes! The people who practice music consistantly can also enjoy and benefit from this.

@@tdesq.2463 thanks. It’s ok that you don’t have perfect pitch. You are still worth it, and you are still amazing the way you are.
@siennaprice1351 Thanks! I have fun with it. Now and then, I have a 'Eureka' moment. Makes it all worthwhile.
