Love this! Thank you! I’ve been looking for more high quality videos on basic sculpting and shaping techniques. I want to get more into sculptural work, so this is great!

This is boro? Amazing colors! I'm going off to the GA site to get some of that beautiful deep petrol blue. Wonderful work, as always 🌸

Agua azul is one of the best boro colors imo

Hey Dustin great little project I love flowers there just fun to make. However this method is pointing out to me one of the problems I’ve been having lately. When I go to press a Maria onto the end my mass doesn’t get spread out and flat it spreads some but it stays thick been having this issue with my flower implosion marbles. Perhaps you could do a demonstration of some basic solid work techniques as a refresher. Love the vids and thank you for sharing your experience with our community

i dont understand how you can get the glass red hot like that, i use the same materials and the same companies but when my glass gets anywhere near that hot gravity takes it no matter HOW i try to spin or save it. Any tips to help that? its the one thing that makes glass blowing unenjoyable for me. it feels like the glass turns to liquid the second its in the flame but i see others hold their glass into the flame 3x as long and it seems to be fine! im not sure if its my technique or maybe my torch has too much o2 or propane? I'm tired of making globs of glass that just fall onto my table or end up getting thrown away LOL i havnt blown glass in months because of the lack of information on viscosity and how to better control it

Are you sure you’re not using soft glass? It needs to be coe33..boro is a much harder glass it will not immediately drip like that. I use the same torch as Dustin and it’s considered the most penetrating torch on the market and my glass doesn’t do that.

Hey! Thanks for commenting! I think that @michaelkmiec5842 might be right. I've never head of borosilicate glass reacting this way, so I would try to understand the differences between soft glass and boro.
