Another great tale. Thank you for sharing.
Using a large magnet? Guess he never found any gold. Just a guess..
So, how does a magnet recover gold nuggets?
$180,000 divided by $20.00 per ounce =9,000 ounces. Divided by 14.58 ounce per adjustment from Troy to standard =617.28 lbs of gold.
GOLD IS NOT MAGNETIC , YOUR STORY TOOK A DIVE RIGHT THERE
Boxes holding the nuggets may be magnetic
Quite possible, if the box is magnetic
@@Yellowfive-iq4wx that detail should've been noted then.
The looting list had "Raw gold" mentioned. A possible jar lid, or box made of iron. It does cast doubt which is the flavor of treasure stories.
Considering gold and silver are not magnetic, the only thing a magnet is going to pick up is non precious metals
Hal was in the military in ww2. Then they used metal detector. Then Duncan died in 1928. There is a timeline discrepancy here or time travel.
Home 😂🥇😁💰🤑
