These seem like two of the most genuine, kindest people. I would love to sit down and chat with them, especially Vince. He’s so humble and funny and interesting.
I love Amy and Vince. Please please please Vince, don’t let the stories of these guitars die if and when something happens to you. Write a book about these guitars and their history and who played on what record. Yes I’d buy it. I love history of all kinds.
Unfortunately many Americans will not have much of a Christmas this year. I pray for the areas destroyed by Helene in Florida, Boone, NC, Black Mtn, NC, Asheville, NC, Swannanoa, NC, Marshall, NC, Chimney Rock, NC & Tennessee and I'm sure many other areas.......God Bless these folks - keep them safe and warm. Bless the volunteers who offer their money, supplies and time to make things better.
Hello Vince and Amy! I loved the interview. Thank you for sharing your hearts with us. Both of you are sincere and kind. The love that you have for each other is inspiring and sweet. I have always said, "to love and be loved in return is the greatest gift in life." I wish you the very best in your careers. Vince, I am looking forward to your new songs! God Bless you both. Love, Anita
Thank you for these words. My step dad was a musician who knew Johnny. I grew up w him playing Chris Kristofferson & Gordon Lightfoot. When my step dad heard your music he came to know God. Amy, I started writing after I saw you in Portland 1997. It was your music El Shadai & a couple borrowed albums that inspired me to go back to school & study music. Being genuine & singing from the heart is powerful. Thank you for being a big inspiration to me. ❤
Vince, you may not be in any hurry to get your new songs out, but some of your fans likely don't have as long left as you probably do. Don't leave them on the vine too long when there are folks who would love to hear some of them before we go. Thank you for your generosity to that old, unknown fiddle player backstage at the Opry. I'm sure the time you gave him meant a great deal. Music, especially folk music with so many of its roots shrouded in the mists of time, really IS the universal language, isn't it?
i have always been a big fan of both Vince and Amy.. he is always so very humble and so is she.. when they look at each other you can see the love for each other they have..
When i think of Christmas, I recall 28 Christmas’s, widowed suddenly at 49, oh how I miss those 28 glorious Christmas, I’m now in senior living anything Vince and Amy singing Christmas, is the only Christmas songs I can listen to, yes I have tissues in my hand the beginning of Christmas songs by Amy and Vince, thank you Vince and Amy Im able to hear Christmas songs.
Sending Merry Christmas Wishes to you! I became a widow very suddenly at 47 years old. I also had 28 years that I celebrated Christmas with my husband from 1981 through 2009. This year will be my 15th Christmas without him. Music does bring back a lot of good memories.
Such a great interview! I am so glad I saw this, because I did not know they had a new Christmas album. I bought it immediately and can’t wait to listen to it. I love Amy and Vince! I would love to hear every guitar story Vince has from that room of treasures, by the way! 🎸❤️
Just Love you both so much. Amy, seen you in concert, way long ago when first introduced to Gods Love. You are so beautiful and kind. Vince, have and love all your music, the words to your music have touched my heart. 😊❤
What an amazing interview with my favorite couple from Nashville. Seeing Amy & Vince’s Christmas Show is on my Bucket List. You can see the love that they have for each other throughout this entire video.
I went to a Vince Gill Christmas show in the late 90’s. He did the show with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. It was beautiful! I still have a Vince Gill Christmas ornament as a souvenir! I’ve seen Vince three times over the years. Always excellent!
What a wonderful interview!! Amy, El Shadi was the first Christian song I heard as a new believer that sealed my heart and still to this day in worship. The first artist and many of your recordings after to bring me in to The Kingdom! Vince, I came to know your music later, nonetheless you touch my soul with your music as well.
My wife of 54 years and I went to a county fair some years back and caught about 45 minutes of Vince in a sound check. So cool! He entertained a small handful of people like we were a 20,000-seat venue. If I was a close friend, I would be at his house every day just to play some of those guitars. Burlington Bill busking on the road and here on you tube.
😅I have truly enjoyed this inspiring interview. I have followed Vince and Amy, off and on, through their years. I have a ticket to enjoy their Christmas concert at the Ryman this coming December 17, 2024, and this interview has definitely increased my excitement for their concert. I hope they share some of their experiences, also. This will be the highlight of my Christmas, hands down. I am a widow and I have some sadness, more than I wish, but I cannot wait to share this concert with these two beautiful, Christian singers.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️♥️♥️
I worked on Amy Grant's Three Wishes show when they were shooting in and around Canton, OH. With all her talent, she was so open and kind to everyone. And I am not exaggerating when I say--as attractive as she appears on TV, she is 10x as attractive in person. What a charming and gentle soul. What a great couple. Big love...
2 beautiful people that have the kindest hearts ❤️ and souls and country music 🎶 is so lucky have these 2 wonderful people in their corner God bless you both 🙏
Vince and Gill are just the most genuine people. They just exude love for each other and people. Their lives are a true Christian witness. I agree with Vince about music videos. Like all great art it should mean something different to each listener and their own life experiences. Please keep touring! I have yet to see you live. I hope to someday. By the way Amy my favorite TV Christmas special was the one you did with CeCe Winens many years ago. I found it last year on you tube and it brought me such Joy!
What an awesome interview by two old favorites! Never got to see Amy but I saw Vince in 1994 (Trisha Yearwood opened the show). I’m a jazz guy but musically speaking that was one of the best concerts and memories that I’ve ever experienced! Cheers to Vince and Amy 🥂
Vince and Amy are so genuine. I’m 68 and finally really enjoying music. Listening and feeling the story being shared through a song means so much more to me now. Many thanks for sharing your music and thoughts with us.
This video is wonderful, it’s so moving to see the love and passion Vince has for music. But behind Vince Gill’s smile and his heartfelt songs lies a story of immense loss and extraordinary resilience 🌟. As you explore his emotional journey and understand the challenges he’s faced, you’ll realize that Vince’s music touches not only the hearts of his listeners but also reflects the soul of a man who has endured deep sorrow. 🎶💔
I cannot believe that Amy is a grandmother. She looks so young to be a grandmother. She also has to be one of the loveliest and most beautiful women in the world. Vince is a very blessed guy to have her as his wife. He doesn’t sound too good in this clip. Must have a cold or something like that. This is a great interview and both of them are very down to earth. Very humble, honest and talented couple. Doubt if I will ever get to see them live as I live in the UK, but I bet their concerts are sell outs. Take care, both of you!
A gift to my heart today. As much as Mr. Gill & Miss Amy honor those that have been part of their respective journeys. I honor and recognize their own contributions with the same regard!! ❤❤
Love love Amy & Vince. Saw Amy back last February 2024 @ The Palms so beautiful my friend i took was probably not that familiar with Amy's songs, his comment afterwards was so touching, thank you Amy he so needed to hear your words god bless. Got to say a quick hello to Jen! Wonderful to say hello & a hug.
Handsome couple. Do they still consider themselves Christian? Back in the 90s I thought Amy was one of the most beautiful women out there, still is. I do lament Amy's position on an important n clear Biblical judgment. I hope they will reflect, think through and perhaps even turn to a closer walk with their Maker. One of the more important aspects of our lives as believers is to examine and align our beliefs to Jesus's.❤
I love love this interview..you both are so very talented.. I just want to say.. I see Life has been good to you guys..seems have Christ in your life makes that difference ....I see so many big stars go bad ..Thanks for being so genuine an passionate
If you ever get the chance to see one of their Christmas shows at the Ryman do it. My wife and I traveled from Northern Indiana two years ago and we certainly were not disappointed. It was wonderfully intimate and beautifully Christmas.
I lived in “Town” in 98’ and got to go the CMA rehearsals with 2 young ladies that were going to be “Seat-Fillers”. Vince Emcee’d that show. If Vince wouldn’t have taken up music,he could’ve been a Pro Stand-up Comedian. He is Ridiculously Funny man.
The best concert I ever went to was Vince Gil 30 years ago It was a small in the round outdoor venue about half way through the stage lost power. Vince and the band kept playing for the next hour & half. He and Amy make a great couple
i saw Vince at Sandia Casino 90s in south of Albuquerque! Amazing night! on my Birthday Dec 9th, drank glass of Champaign on the roof top! Who doesnt love Amy ! May the Lord watch over you both ,be well!
Brother you didn’t just score on the guitar front. Amy is absolutely stunning in every sense of the word. You deserve each other!! I saw you last year in Toronto with The Eagles. I Still Believe in YOU!!!! God bless you both. Michael
Love their music and what they bring to the table as role models. Not only as musicians but as humbled people who are not entitled. Sharing their love of faith and family in the form of music is amazing! Thanks, Amy and Vince, for bringing hope, love and friendship to us all!
Saw Vince in Memphis golf tournament,, we were under a shelter out of the rain,,,,,I enjoyed the little Jimmy Dickens story, he’s the reason I play guitar, he was the first person I ever saw on an old black-and-white, tv, that played a guitar,,,, ,just a kid, sitting on the floor, i wanted to learn how to do that ,,,
I really like Vince Gill and cover many of his songs. I actually sang “Whenever You Come Around” to my wife on our wedding day. All of this to say,Surely he could afford to give me 1 of his J45’s. I’d really appreciate it.😁
About 10 or 15 years ago they were on the road doing their Christmas show in different cities and they came to Savannah and I finally had a chance to see them in concert and it was a wonderful show and I feel bad that now if we want to see them we have to travel to their city which isn't always the most convenient thing to do unless you live very close to Tennessee
When Vince said what would be great is to have Merle Haggard singing on stage is absolutely my thoughts too. Add to that being on stage, and VINCE is playing and singing on stage, of course with Amy too. That would be the ultimate Christmas gift.....I'd come play my '72 Fender P bass for free......just give me the charts....I read music and can follow all those Christmas music gems. I've sang and played many Christmas gigs and fully appreciate everything Vince and Amy's interview thoughts. What scares my wife is going to Nashville and going from guitar store to guitar store with Jimmy Fortune to redeem his comments to me when we were on the Alaskan Gaither Cruise in order to hook me up with some guitars!! .......Russell D.
My Very Favorite couple in the whole world, I LOVE Vince and Amy, they are kind, love their fans, Vince before covid gave his fan club members a very private yearly party, he rented the Ford theater in the Country Hall of Fame, it was quite a party, gifts food, we had him all to,ourselves , very Nice gifts by the way, signed, what a party, Vince and Amy I have met many times, back stage and both very Kind. Amy was always one of my favorites! All her music, saw her in concert. Also love Vince as well. Then Amy and Vince have an affair. Yep, they were genuinely kind to their spouses when they humped like bunnies in Vince's studio.
I love Amy and Vince. Please please please Vince, don’t let the stories of these guitars die if and when something happens to you. Write a book about these guitars and their history and who played on what record. Yes I’d buy it. I love history of all kinds.

Vince you should write a book with all the stories of the guitars 🎸 and a photo of each …
Absolutely LOVE these two!
I know both your voices. Very recognizable. That’s a gift ❤😊

I really like Vince Gill and cover many of his songs. I actually sang “Whenever You Come Around” to my wife on our wedding day.

Great example of a couple who are best friends! Please come back to Champaign-Urbana and play the Virginia again you two!!
Good picture of you and Amy ❤

Amy was always one of my favorites! All her music, saw her in concert. Also love Vince as well. Then Amy and Vince have an affair. I love Vince and Amy
Lordy ... quality people right cheer
the most real couple in music today.
The most really adulterous, yes.
Lucky to meet them both. Vince certainly married up 😊❤
I like Vince's eye glasses. Both of these artists are interesting to listen to.
Vince, I remember you singing at the state fair. It was like you were singing to me.
Beautiful people and beautiful couple!!!!
So proud that they ended up together ❤always thinking of others.
I went to see Amy the early 90s. It was an outdoor arena in Northern California.
A write up on Mason Ramsey is in the most recent issue of American Songwriter magazine. Have y'all here ever talked to him? I'd love to see a clip of him here sometime. Great to see this pair of music royalty. Looking at the time stamps here.. do you mean Kris (not Chris) Kristofferson?
GOD'S GIFTED 144OOO 😊WRITTEN IN THE STARS AND THE GOOD BOOK. REVALATIONS 😊❤I STARTED LISTENING TO BOTH OF THEM BY THE TIME I TURNED 8.BIG PART OF MY LIFE SINCE. 😊❤
Cranberry sauce. That is special for me at Christmas. Just one big dollop next to the turkey on the plate. Gotta have that...or everything else doesn't mean that much. That's Christmas for me.
Music IS visual and auditory. I'm amazed EAGLES ever gave you a thought to join them.
Vince Gill and Amy Grant is an awesome christian couple. You can see the love and respect that they have for each other.
Yep, My favorite Christian couples and the adulterous ones.
In 60s and just starting
Inspirational
I don’t know anyone else from my generation who has carried on the tradition of country music at The Grand Ole Opry as much as not as frequently as Vince Gill. Bill Anderson is the last of his generation that’s in the Opry so often.
