Really enjoyed this interview. I used to work for CCM magazine for over 10 years and had many interactions with Amy. She is such a warm, genuine, lovely human. Also knew Gary Chapman as he did a radio show for us. After Amy and Gary divorced, and I learned Amy and Vince were dating, I was thrilled. On a few occasions I’ve spoken to Vince, and he is very similar to Amy. He is warm, kind and genuine. After Amy and Vince married, I ran into Vince and Richard Marx before a concert in Palm Springs. I told Vince I was so happy him and Amy married. Vince responded, you mean you aren’t going to yell at me for ruining Amy like most people do? I told him maybe Amy needed ruining as I think he (Vince) was the best thing that could have happened to her. (Vince did not ruin Amy, he gave her the joy and support to thrive.) They are a perfect pairing. And I still stand by that. This interview illustrates the ease in which they coexist to this day. People can be critics but know nothing about peoples lives. Amy is a lovely Godly woman, and God gave her a loving Godly man in Vince Gill. That fact fills my heart with joy and peace knowing miracles like this exist and are lived out each day. Keep loving and living Amy and Vince! Show the world how it’s done. ❤❤

Beautiful voices , beautiful couple. Hearing their early music brings me back to my childhood listening with my grand parents that are no longer here with us, so their music brings me back to loving memories and puts a smile on my heart ❤ God bless this power house team, pray we all find a love like theirs🙏

Amy Grant has always been my all time favorite singer. I like Vince a lot too. I really enjoy their music. No matter what happened, that is history. They are only human. We all need forgiveness, and we need to forgive others as well. It's amazing how Amy revived from the bike accident. Happy belated birthday to Amy. My youngest son had a birthday on Monday as well. May God bless Amy and Vince.

I watched a concert on with Amy Grant (I only remember Mary Chapin Carpenter also on it)--don't recall what year, and she looked so unhappy. So unusual, because I've only seen her smile in whaterever she was doing in videos. The next time I saw her was on that video "House of Love", and I thought--aha--there's something there between her and Vince.♥

I’ve been a fan of Amy’s since the early 80s and Vince’s since the late 90s.
I asked a Christian Bookstore owner, “How are you so sure they cheated? Were you watching? It’s a bad move to refuse to sell Amy Grant’s music due to rumors.”
I was ‘invited’ to no longer shop there.

I grew up listening to Amy Grant music. She happened to be one of the few Christian singers in the industry that wrote and sounded like a professional. I knew Gary Chapman struggled with addition and sadly had several marriages, but love is a choice and for a Christ follower is based upon 1 Corinthians 13. Many years later I tried reading Amy’s book and she didn’t sound like a Christian and neither did her relationship with Vince Gill. This interview is the same. She used so many terms and expressions that the world uses but not God. Yes, it’s nice to her them honoring their marriage and each other, but my concern would be Amy’s faithfulness to God, and His son the savior of the world.

Most of us have experienced chemistry with someone who is married. But that is something there’s an easy answer to and it’s wrong. Don’t do it. Sandy Patti’s career was cut short. Both of your lives might have been much bigger and a bigger blessing to more people than it is today. Many people don’t even know your names.
