Ricky makes more, in the same way that Mccnugget and Mogely were because they have their names on boards, Uzi was probably making the same as Glo, i remember being suprised when they made the pro team and started filming for video parts / went on tour that Uzi did not get a board and i'm sure that lingered psychologically being there for years and making what's probably not much more than full-time retail pay hourly 2-3 days a week. .

@@Nick_Tank He was gone because his knee was destroyed and he couldn't skate. He'd make cameos and such, but he's said on multiple channel's videos that he was hurt. He's still not at 100% which is why he was doing such low impact tricks against JD.

JD is trying to make the Olympics. Nigel went pro for another company and is coaching an Olympic prospect. Ricky is only there every other week and has his own thing. The only skater left, who doesn't have an active YT channel is is Glo. That explains why Aaron suddenly started reappearing on his own channel. Dude disappeared, put the responsibility to keep things afloat on people he didn't properly compensate and now they're all leaving and/or quiet quitting. I just realized the Braille Army channel hasn't had a post in 2 months either. They really need to reinvent themselves

But I agree with this comment Aaron I don’t think is a great owner he was a fantastic skater and pretty good UA-camr but not a good owner and it shows because when he was actually indulged in the creation of the videos the channel was at its peak and everyone was kinda at a “we’re just making videos together” type of standing and not a “we’re employees type of standing” it was probably a feeling before of “we’re creating something together” and not “we’re working for Aaron whose creating something”

I feel like Uzi wasn't happy with Braille for a while, he started to have extremely low energy in the videos. He is right, just like Mogely, Uzi was going no where with Braille. He needs to be around better skaters so he can start to improve more. Ricky will be gone next IMO (unless he has to stay with them due to work visa or what ever).. J.D needs to bounce too. Braille is only holding these guys back.
people come and people go. Uzi had no future there, he said it. The only one that did was Gabe. The rest are just in it for a paycheck until they find something better. There is no going up in that type of operation for the skater.

UZI has been active on UA-cam in the past. He's done a few videos with Mogely which were really good. The one where UZI went to the skate park in an inflatable gorilla costume was entertaining. Hopefully he cranks out some new fun stuff soon.

Uzi is a awesome skater, but the guy was always on his phone, and shows up to work late almost everyday. Probably would have gotten more camera time if he just put the phone down from time to time. People are literally addicted to their cell phones.
I like Uzi, but he never seemed like he did anything on Braille anyway. Was barely in videos, and when he was, was on his phone most of the time and not engaging or skating. That could very likely be poor logistics on Braille's end, but it didn't do *him* any favors. I hope he finds somewhere where he has a place, it just didn't seem like Braille was for him.

Braille is a corporation at this point so i see why they would think charging an employee minimum wage would be ok. However what braille fails to realize that these are their braille athletes and should be valued as so. Maybe if they cant afford huge salaries they can at least do incentives on views and pay a % per skater in each video on top of slightly better pay

I mean think about it. Most people don’t get paid to skate unless you’re an actual pro in street league or xgames. I love the braille crew but honestly none of them are pro level except for JD. It’s a company to help train kids to skateboard like being an elementary teacher only without a degree and in skateboarding. I don’t see any employees getting paid more than minimum wage besides management or CEO.

Braille has been burning through skaters for a while their channel is on the decline not a crazy decline but still notable. And while demanding a lot of your employees isnt uncommon especially in the context of skateboarding it will take its toll on peoples relationships as well as physical and mental health.

_All_ of the Braille employees / skaters are replaceable too though.... We literally see them being replaced every now and then. And more will come and go. Mogely left, McNugget left (no one talks about that), Carlos left (seems to have gotten into some drama of his own), Nigel left, probably Ricky will leave too. It's not about creative control. It's about them getting exploited for their work. And then we haven't gotten into the Fetty stuff or other drama behind the scenes. I wouldn't be surprised if the working environment is somewhat toxic.
Obviously idk what goes ok behind the scenes at braille and i havent seen any videos in a while but uzi never really seemed to put much effort into anything. Everyone seemed to have a lane except him.

I think the guys that are the faces of the channel have plenty of creative control. With that many uploads on your schedule, you eventually run out of good ideas and any creative video concept is welcome. It's not like a react channel or a gaming channel where new content is basically made for you.

One thing that I can say is, I can't be only mad at Braille for Uzi leaving, because the comment section also trash him a LOT even when he's on the good day, and it's been running for years. It would drain even the most positive person.

As a skater and business owner I always want to know details. I realized I had no real future working for another company so i completely get that. The whole "not getting paid a decent wage" thing always makes me think. The majority of people I have worked with in my life (im 37) have been entitled people, with big opinions about how hard they work and even bigger ego's. In actuality most people think they work harder and deserve more no matter how bad or lazy of an employee they are. In reality most people are not worth more on the open market and thats okay, just be honest with your self and save your money. NOT saying this about this guy in particular, just what i have seen in my 20 years of working.
33 here. Best advice I ever got was never get comfortable. I work construction so I just constantly got new jobs each paying a little more and I ended up on roofing making $86 an hour. The key is to never get comfortable if you don't like your situation, change it up! America is a beautiful place where it's possible to go from nothing to something.
So thats where Jessicas been! Uzi got a chance to succeed. Wish dawg the best!

UA-camrs are the modern day television actors. So to say people on braille are just workers is crazy. Because everyone now days watches UA-cam it kind of makes bigger UA-camrs a celebrity. That’s why it bugs me when people on braill are just workers or employees.
They are employees though. He's talking about they way they are paid. they are as popular as celebrities but they don't own anything so they are paid a salary which is very small compared to how big they are.

Braille in itself is just a failed concept, it’s meant to be a good and easy way to get different kids into skating and show them cool tricks and different possibilities, but for the skaters who actually work there there really isn’t anywhere else to go, the guys that are actually trying to get recognition are just held down entirely and then you start to lose the skaters that drew people in and then there’s a complete collapse
