Backing vocal vocalists were really well paid - rest assured! They were among the best in their day. If you listen to the song The Great Gig in the Sky from this concert, you'll see what potential they had and how excellent they were. By the way, Pink Floyd always gave a lot of space to backing vocalists. These ladies are Sam Brown, Claudia Fontaine (sadly now deceased) and Durga McBroom...
I was going to say the same! Great Gig from this show totally focusses on the female singers. And yes, every PF song sucks you in to this almost hypnotic state.
This song, such high energy, high intensity. Wonderful performance. Guy Pratt's screech, * Their gonna * send you home to mother in a cardboard box!...perfect. If you've seen The Wall movie where this song is played, it makes the screech perfect.
@@chrise11355 That’s freaking awesome! What a concert!! Best, best ever! I saw them in 1988 in Orlando. Seen Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in Gainesville on my 21st Bday. Saw the Stones, The Who, Journey. Billy Joel and Elton John, Jackson’s Browne and James Taylor together, Robert Plant, and Van Halen (unfortunately not David Lee Roth)….Out of all, 1994 Pulse concert was the best!!! Always cool to hear/meet a person who saw that concert. Run Like Hell and then the circular screen blows up, done. Good times, great memories.
This concert was in Earl's Court in London in 1994, if you think that the video is good I was there and it was absolutely amazing live, any track from this performance will blow you away. 🤘
I was lucky enough to see them live in Toronto in 88 and it's not a concert its an experience . The props and lightshow were incredible. The goodies we took that night made the experience even better. Wish you were here live. Great reaction and Peace out ✌️ ☮️ 🙏
@@cityhonors1 I was there in 1994 Tampa, Florida at 24yrs old. 3rd row, front and center. When that concert ended and all the lights went brightly lit. It was something to see. It looked like 80% also heard that Beatles song…Lucy in the sky…We were in the 80%. Bad, cool, best concert ever!!!! It’s like when Samuel Jackson says my wallet is the one that says bad ass MF. That’s that concert😳😎👍
Another great reaction video man keep up the great work!!!!! You ever think of getting a Discord channel? I know that would be a ton more work for your channel but a great way to build your base audience.
FUN FACT: Some people play the 1973 Pink Floyd album The Dark Side of the Moon while watching the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. This pairing is known as The Dark Side of the Rainbow, Dark Side of Oz, or The Wizard of Floyd. Some say that the album and film appear to sync up in interesting ways, with moments of synchronicity between the visuals and the lyrics. Some say that these moments are especially noticeable during the following songs: "The Great Gig in the Sky" The tornado scene "Time's 'no one told you when to run'" "Us and Them's 'black... and blue'" However, Alan Parsons, an engineer for Pink Floyd and The Dark Side of the Moon, has denied that the album was intended to be connected to the film.
Im 71 i saw them 3 times 1970 was the first time. If you can't see them live the next best thing is a band called britt floyd that tours all the time saw them live in pgh pa tou would think it was pink floyd

They just don’t make music like this.
