This series gets a thousand times more ridiculous when you realize everything he did in the first half was accomplished when he only had access to about 10% of his actual power including the resurrection and fighting the god of time
Crazy thing is, he never use even 1% of his true power in the anime from S1 to S2 so basically he killed Gods with 0% of his power.
A little context as to why Anos is somewhat kind to his enemies: the 7 Elders, all of the Royals, and most of the other demons including hybrid are his descendants(Ivis, Misha, Sasha, background guy, and the entire academy body included).
He's lived an extremely long life and has seen all the ups and downs of the world; so he only wants the best for his descendants and will only get involved if he sees that they're harming their society as a whole.
The only reason he doesn't force people and just tells them who he is from the start is because he truly loves them all and lets them draw their own conclusions while he sits back and enjoys his second life.

Idk why but the "prepare to be jumped!" always cracks me up because of how stupid it is lol. If you know the show, you know just how ridiculous so many things are that CJ left out as well lmao.
The seashell toss to Jerga at the end was a huge act of compassion because he was fighting for his family. The show talks a bit more about it. But this is one of my fav anime ever. Anos is so great and I love his family and friends protection.

In the anime it said the hero has “seven sources”. Not just one soul fragmented in pieces but seven different souls.
Technically the two sisters are both the same person. They were one soul split into two. The elder was trying to combine them back and the stronger personality would take over. Avos stopped him and sent the seperate parts of the soul back in time to combine with the other seperat souls to make whole 2 sperate souos so they don't have to combine back together.
And not only that, they can fuse into a stronger conglomerate form too, which is friggin awesome

The big difference between this and other power fantasy anime is that While he is very overpowered, that doesn't mean he is omniscient. His enemies fight him with cunning and knowledge and there are plot twists after plot twists, there are hints here and there and it will be revealed by the end of the arc, then after the arc, they'll reveal that there are hints of actual another mystery hidden within the last arc that will become the plot of the next arc. There are layers upon layers of story and mystery in this. Unlike One Punch Man where he's just the strongest and that's that.
That being said, the first season in the anime is mostly about establishing his new family in this world 2000 years later and establishing his position in the "food chain". There are those who can contest him later down the line. Basically, it's not a mindless power fantasy just to satiate that power fantasy mind.
