Rare that you click on something random in your feed which is extremely beautiful, not dragged out and just nice to watch. Also super inspiring to see something this beautiful shot on the S5, shows what is possible with it
Solid stuff. Fungus and haze aren't the worst things in the world because you can open up most of the vintage lens and get rid of the fungus and haze by using proper solutions and tools to clean them. It just takes time, research, and the proper tools to do. But if you mess up in doing, it can be bad. I'd say scratches in the lens, lens coatings, or physical dents to the body are bigger issues to avoid for vintage lenses. If you're willing to do the work, you get some lenses that have fungus or haze for extremely cheap. Then you clean and fix them up, and boom! You have a lens two to three times more valuable than the price you bought it at.

Great shots my guy. Straight and to the point. I have an old minolta 50mm from 1985. I love it but the aperture needs to be repaired. Definitely going to take a look at this one.
Appreciate that David! It’s easy to forget what you can make with a tripod and a lens. Oooo I’ve seen some footage from that Minolta and they look great! You gotta get that bad boy fixed hahaha
