I think they did the right thing by not having a villain because we don’t want the kids thinking that any emotions are bad. Like in the story they went with, emotions just need to be accepted and managed.
I think a good villain for inside out would be a twisted version of Joy. Giving Riley joy for things Disney villains usually feel pleasure. Making Riley shift between nice and naughty.
As a person who has watched inside out 2 I know for one fact anxiety is almost like a villain she bottles the emotions up sends them (like in the trailers) I hope this made sense 🥲
I think a virus would be a great villain if emotions all hangout together then a virus would be a great entity that would subside elsewhere in the body a virus has the ability to not only make the host sick but depressed and turn emotions like happiness sad and feel alone. So basically the story could start as a fun story but as it progresses you see the characters develop a small coff to barley being able to move at all and I think a great way to introduce a character like depression would be depressions knowledge of what meaning to help conquer the sickness
Cant wait for the day disney makes a movie with the villain winning in the end. To appease the kids theyd obviously make a sequel with the hero winning, but still that would probably be the best disney movie ever made
I think Joy is actually a real villain because in the movie she’s always pushing peoples buttons and trying to be bossy, which makes her get sucked into a hole and Riley’s have no joy and all she wants is Joy and Riley’s life
Your own worse enemy is your emotions (yourself) and the worse out of your emotions is anger as seen in the film when your angry you do things you regret hence anger’s idea for Riley to run away this film needed no villain and it works so well extremely underrated film
Gloom actually still exists in inside out. He was the dark substance that made the console inactive and locked the idea in. He also made headquarters go dark as he was made by the Sad Core Memory
If he would’ve returned it would be the sickest plot twist ever. An even sicker plot twist would be an evil dalmatian trying to take down all of the others! Oh no wait…
Well, the villain, Gloom, did in fact make it in the first inside out, he just wasn't an emotion, he was effecting the system making it gray, like in the movie
@@Zed840-k8oit's so nice that you replied this comment within your emotion of anxiety because you can't reply goods and you'll needed a proper grammar 😂😆
I think there will be a 3rd part as they didn’t use nostalgia but i just loved the way there were new emotions by the way love this short keep up the good work!
Well anxiety is telling embarrasment what to do anxiety and Envy are being Evil Ennui doesn’t care and pretty much what their doing to Riley is not working although anxiety’s plan is to make friends with Val so Riley can have friends for high school but Joy wants Riley to stick with her 2 true friends because it’s more important
The success of inside out is its acceptance of all emotions, the point is to de-villainize emotions such as anger, sadness, etc which is healing entire generations taught that they couldn’t be sad, or angry, or jealous, etc
I feel the new emotions aren’t villains, more like Riley’s brain adapting and changing with puberty. Anxiety and the others are “evil”, just following Riley’s growth
I have a strong feeling that inside out will have a movie 3, because if yall remember theres an emotion called nostalgia and when nostalgia came out the other emotions said that nostalgia isnt supposed to come out on the movie 2
Inside out is honestly just trying to be realistic with emotions there is no bad emotion they both can be bad and good just like anger can be terrible sometimes but can sometimes be helpful for defense so there really is no villain so you're not wrong😊
Inside out, too kind of has a villain with anxiety going all crazy like that and the other emotions following her because of her plan until she goes completely insane and spread negativity everywhere. If I can imagine this dark secret with gloom as a villain, but there is no villain in inside out, which makes it unique. I could potentially see glue making it into the inside out three movie, not as a villain but as a general or commander of security, putting on an unimpressed face and non-happy appearance to the prisoners in the vault as a chief of security to keep the negativity in check. That way, you can make it into the movie while not being a villain to make inside out Still a unique series. What do you think Wentworth Bros? Do you think this could be a possibility for gloom to make it into the movie while still keeping inside out as a unique series? let me know in the future. Okay guys?
Inside out does have a villain in inside out one or two at the end of the movie there's a hysterical laugh they're going to put that person in as a villain but they chose not to cuz they wanted him to play forgotten or they're going to put it in and inside out 3 also Joy is a villain also because George wants to be the only thing in her life she doesn't want any of the new emotions or any of these emotions take over their life even though she needs those emotions to keep Riley happy also
Sometimes in some movies there's not always a villain because the movie don't need a villain Winnie the Pooh Dumbo and even some sequels not every movie video game and other things always need another villain sometimes the real villain is just already there in plain sight but the closest thing to be a villain in this movie is Riley it's because she doesn't know any better then the parents have to be the bad guys and then other thing and blah blah blah it's just it just makes more sense because Riley was willing to run away from home while the other parents specifically the dad screwed it up on purpose even though the mom knew that she was depressed
I wouldn't say the new emotions are inherently bad per se. They all want to protect Riley like the OG emotions. But Anxiety went about it the wrong way. Her reaction to the new belief saying "I'm not good enough" was that realization that she may have gone too far. Even when Riley has her panic attack, Anxiety starts to cry. Yeah she and the other new emotions literally bottled up Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, and Fear. But she didn't mean to push Riley over the edge.
Before or after the gloom villian idea Freddy(fear, yes some emotions in the other script had a human names)was the villian and tried to stop joy from getting back because he didn't like how she runned it. You can go to extras in inside out and see it every for yourself. Also inside out isn't the only movie without a villian. P.S. I'm sorry if someone already wrote something like this.
Inside out villain: Joy Inside out 2 villain: Anxiety They both learn their lesson and become good at the end though. Joy was the first movie villain by being selfish and not including sadness but later learns that she is just as important as the other emotions. Same for anxiety but with all older emotions.
I had an idea once for the villain in Inside Out that never was, whose name was Chimere, a sickness in the form of a tall pale woman who entered Riley’s body to create a virus. The emotions would have to defeat her.
Its actuly a good thing they got rid of gloom since it would imply that feeling depressed is bad and taboo and that you should not feel that emotion. That would eventually have others to try to hide their own depresion and not talk about their depression. Though depression is not a positive emotion as it can be very dangerious, making them a villian, and then defeating them to then jave them to avoid javing them take over Riley will get people to suppress it just like how Riley supressed sadness.
honestly I would've liked the "villain" in the first movie to be Depression itself, like a personified version of depression, something that other emotions could see and face like another "emotion" (not exactly since that's not what depression is but still like a creature even similar to the emotions). it's effects would all be the same, progressively turning Riley more and more gray and emotionless and stuff and overall taking over her mind and almost destroying everything inside of it. Idk if I'm alone in this, but i would've loved something like this to happen, cause it's just how my own depression feels like
Iheared someone with an idea for part 3 like this which I really liked (I havent seen part 2 yet but I have seen part 1 but just dont respond with spoilers!) basicly the emotions are informed that in 2 days, 2 new emotions will arrive and last time a meeting didnt go well (based on the trailer for part 2) but now they will be prepared, but on the day itself only 1 emotion shows up, depression which completely blocks all other emotion from functioning well and some even becoming unable to do anything so the other emotions go on a journey to find the second emotion, hope, which can drive the depression away
Joy is the villain of the first movie, and her character development is her heel-face-turn. The plot kicks off because she's a control-freak who doesn't want Sadness to have any role in Riley's life.
In the first movie, inside outs villian was suppost to be fear, but it was scrapped, in the movie we have now, joy is the villain, believing that she was more important than everybody else, like pushing sadness to her sadness corner, or leaving her behind by going up the tube, and generally not having many good person traits.
