- Join me on the ultimate outdoor laser leveling adventure as I put the Huepar Green Laser Level and Receiver Combo to the test! With its remarkable visibility even in bright outdoor conditions, the green laser is a game-changer, but it's the receiver that takes precision to new heights. Watch as I grade the land next to my house, striving for that perfect flat surface using a digger. Surprisingly, the Huepar 3x360 laser, along with a tripod, pulse mode, and the receiver, proves more than adequate for the task usually reserved for rotary lasers.
I love the added convenience of a remote, which allows me to turn the laser off and on when needed, saving battery power without the hassle of walking to the other end. To enhance accuracy, I mount the receiver cleverly on an old spirit level, making the entire process a breeze. Don't miss this eye-opening experience into the world of outdoor laser leveling expertise, where the Huepar Green Laser Level and Receiver Combo become my trusted allies for flawless results!

You’re a star Aiden! Love your channel mate.
Thanks dude 👍
Thank you very much for your understanding and support! This video is really great!
Do you have a uk support team by phone I have new equipment that is just not working
Yes handy having a receiver paired with your laser level - I have a more basic older one with a single front indicator but it looks very similar. Last used mine for setting out the fall on my septic tank pipe run 😷
Ah yeah it would have been handy if I had it when I done my trenches, I just eye balled it though and hoped for the best 🤣 for the pipes themsleves you can't beat the spirit level trick with a block taped to one end though
That Charlie animation was flawless!!
🤣
Very good explanation, thank you my friend...
You are welcome!
I got the receiver a few weeks ago so stumbled across your video to research more into it. If it helps, mine is also missing the 2nd rubber pad so I guess thats normal ;)
Very level headed explanation 👍
MOT type 1.....also known as 'scalpings" I believe.
Cheers dude 👍 yeah scalping are the same but not the same 😆 if it's scalping then it's unclassified, so it may not have the same load bearing qualities because it may be too heavy on fines etc
@@THE-AIDEN-PROJECT Life is complicated sometimes....most of the time imo.
I expect for pathways & light use unclassified scalpings would be acceptable. For areas of high & heavy traffic the regulated MOT (ministry of transport?!) stuff would be better. I expect most builders would use it and treat scalpings the same as MOT
I love the stuff. Creates a really solid foundation when it gets moisture in it....bloody hard to dig up when it gets wet. I have even used it for concrete (add a bit of sand & cement) for fence posts & the like.
Have a good weekend ☔👍
Hi aiden bit off topic from video but what mix did you use to achieve such a light mortar on your brickwork? Looking for similar to bring the colour of our bricks out abit more!
Hey, so it's a 5 to 1 mix. White soft sand and white cement. The colour of soft builders sand varies across the country, our standard stuff here is a darker or deeper yellow brown but the white sand is a light yellow. You can also get silver soft sand which would give you a light colour. It's best to ring your local aggregate supplier and ask them if they can get soft white sand or something similar
Can you use it on pulse mode for the vertical lines? To set vertical lines? (Rotate the receiver horizontally?)
Yep
Hello! Are you use this receiver now or only you use it once? I have problems with my receiver and in outdoor, when the sun is shining my receiver is like blind and do not show nothing, if I go under some shade it instantly start to work again...
Hey, yeah I've just checked and confirmed it doesn't work in direct sunlight once you're over a meter or so away, if a cloud covers the sun it's fine
Does the receiver have to be used with that laser, or will it work with any green laser ?
Couldn't say for sure but it's my understanding if you stick with the same colour laser/receiver it should work. There may be a chance it won't though if they're designed to detect a certain pulse 🤷♂️
Hi mate, does the receiver fit into that hard case at all? I have the same receiver and I am looking between this laser and the GF360G. The fact it comes with the hard case and the micro adjusting clamp is swinging my choices a bit... If the receiver fits into the box with the laser then i'd probably go for it, but if not then I may have to find a case I can do my own cut outs in.
If you can please let me know that would be ace! Cheers

@@THE-AIDEN-PROJECTawesome thanks so much 😊👍🏻
Does the laser reciever work in bright sunlight. My huepar laser and reciever works fine indoors but go out into bright sunshine and the reciever becomes faulty. Rather sad
Unfortunately it doesn't work in bright sunlight, I've just checked it. I suppose for the price there will be some limitations
It's a freaking laser beam!
Where are the sharks though?
If you do the levelling during twilight you would be able to see the laser line.
Good idea 👍 although I was on a time limit with the digger hire so getting the receiver worked out a treat 😁
@1:03: for detecting a vertical laser (plumb); turn it sideways
Is the huepar receiver compatible with other makes of lasers?
I'm not sure Pete. I think in general, if you stick to the same colour green or red then you might be ok. The detectors might detect a slightly different wavelength though so it might not work 🤷 I'd probably get one off Amazon and test it because if it doesn't work then it's quite simple to send it back
@THE-AIDEN-PROJECT That's a great idea! Love your videos too btw. ❤️
Wht not use automatic level
I just purchased a heupar laser and loved it so much I purchased the receiver. But annoyingly the receiver doesn’t pick anything up. I ordered a replacement receiver but that’s the same. Other than pressing the pulse mode button is there anything else that I need to do so I can get it to work ?
Hello, same problem with me! How you use your receiver, outdoor or indoor. Indoor where there is no sun it works perfectly, when I go outside where the sun is shining It stops working instantly. I found that when sun hits the receiver it stop working instantly, when I make shade with my hand on to the lens it starts to work again but it is not possible to work outside it that way....
@@mo-ni mine doesn’t work regardless. Only tried it indoors and nothing. Now returning the laser in the hope that after trying 2 receivers that this solves the problem. . If not I’ll be sending it all back
@@MarcJWebbMusic may be your laser can not work with receiver? Not all line lasers can operate with receivers.
I did check before buying and is one of the names models to work in the instruction manual and on their website
@@mo-ni it’s the one the manual and the website say is compatible
Thanks for sharing. Need to get a rotary myself soon. I’ve also been reading about the magnetic attachments for attaching to an excavator!
Ps - did you purchase the excavator?
I didn't buy the one that way in this video, I did buy an older version though 😅 that needs some attention 😬
@@THE-AIDEN-PROJECT Is it sitting next to the Land Rover 😄
@@justinf1343 haha it's in one of my containers...maybe I should have a subscriber weekend where we all camp on the field and fix both of them 😆
@@THE-AIDEN-PROJECT if you made it a hippy straw bale build, people would pay to come and work for free on the site. I kid you not. There was one example on Grand Designs. Suckers!
Can't imagine anyone going over 16 m? My first project is a house 65' (≈ 20 m). I'll keep looking.
🤣 it should work further, I just didn't see the point in proving it, hence my comment
