This is a replica dewalt laser. The dewalt emblem is removable. On the real one the dewalt emblem is engraved into the tool. The real laser doesn’t beep . Replica beeps

Wow, thanks for this video. I have the same knockoff laser. I fried it one day when I hooked up a 12v Dewalt battery. Turns out this laser is only running on about 5v. The B628 chip in mine smoked and was unreadable to search for a part number. I ordered 5, SX1308 B628 2A Boost chip IC Integrated SOT-23 25V, off of amazon. I soldered it in today, and now my laser is working again. Many thanks!!
