In this video I will check your scalp and do some lice treatment for you. I wanted to make some calm school nurse office and a little bit of summer atmosphere.
There's some wind sound a lot. It is pretty hard to find quiet time actually.. Sorry about that..!

Sometimes I wonder if Latte feels overwhelmed with the thought of always making her videos better and better. Especially because they must be so time consuming.
I hope she doesn’t go down that path whereas she’s being scared of going back to a less elaborate video.

I've noticed over the years that Latte hardly does these long, immersive intros or highly detailed backgrounds anymore, which is understandable considering a lot of ASMRtists have resorted to simpler concepts that are popular and easier to provide regularly.
It's sad to know that, but I just wanna point out that a few of us really appreciate the huge effort put into making these videos by ASMRtists like Latte, and the respect brought to ASMR as an art rather than just a "Get rich quick" scheme. Thank you for all the hard work to provide a truly immersive experience...it hasn't gone unnoticed 💆🏽♂️

Even though this video is 4 years old, i still come back to it just to fall asleep. The nurse and lice setting reminds me of when I was in elementary school and we had regular lice checks and how in a way it was relaxing to feel the comb going through my hair. This video just takes me back and adds comfort to the video

I've been struggling with insomnia and I've tried several tactics from working out to chamomile tea, other asmrtists but none of them have had such an impact. The introduction of the life cycle of lice is the most relaxing part to me.
Her intros always remind me of how anime movies usually are and I love it
Truth... one of my favorite things that Miyazaki always does in his movies is shows the main characters doing some kind of task or handling some responsibility in a super focused and mature way without saying a word. It's a masterful way to make the viewer instantly respect the character and feel drawn to the fact that they are an admirable person. It's genius yet so simple. Several other directors have copied that idea and it always works.

I can’t believe this video is four years old already. Every few months I’ll come back to it on nights that I can’t sleep and listen to it until my eyes close and my body relaxes. It’s so realistic but in a calming way. When I was younger, going to the nurses office was sort of an anxiety inducing experience. But this is so calming. So lovely, and it makes me feel so safe if I’m being honest. Thank you, Latte, for helping me sleep on nights when I couldn’t. 🫶

As a kid I loved when people played with my hair and the feeling of a lice doctor is amazing
Same but the only time that really happened to me is when I actually had lice but something about it just calms you down and makes you relaxed. I love it.
@@S_H_O_JOJO I didn't go to a doctor when I had lice my mom treated it and my neck got cramps from leaning forward too long and what's worse is that it took 5 tries to get rid of them first she tried to get them all with the comb next she tried shower caps with medication on my hair third she tried apple cider vinegar fourth she tried to wrap my hair up to suffocate the lice and finally she got tea tree oil and mixed it into my shampoo and used the comb to get them out finally it was only relaxing when I had my head back and while she was combing so in my case it was pretty stressful
same, but i was always hella self conscious of my hair not being clean enough (even though i was pretty cleanly with my hair in elementary school) and i was especially pissed off and self conscious because i didn’t know what day they would do the checking so i couldn’t wash really good and reassure myself.
