Latte has been dropping some serious medical knowledge lately!! Several of her recent videos (e.g. eye relaxation clinic, school nurse lice check) have been impressively medically accurate, but I'll focus on this one to prove my point. Not only does she put her heart and soul into the ambiance (don't think I didn't catch the heartbeats at 7:44), but she also puts a lot of work into educating herself on the topic of the video. She took the time to actually learn about the cranial nerves and what they do!! I was so surprised! A lot of other ASMRtists (no hate forreal) just cover the 5 senses and are done. But the cranial nerves also relay information to the muscles around the face, neck, shoulders, and tongue, and she covered all of those!!!! Color me impressed!! Additionally, she tested each nerve IN ORDER and was using medical terminology like "palpate" (16:36) and "visual acuity" (19:35). And I was so so SO happy when I heard her reciting PERRL - Pupils are Equal, Round, and Reactive to Light (21:58). It's these kinds of details that make it all the more realistic to me :') LATTE!! I SEE YOU, I THANK YOU, AND I LOVE YOU
She would study nuclear physics, get a phd, find uranium, build a nuclear power plant and then blow it to fuck to bits if she was going to make a chernobyl asmr video.
as a nurse, i’d never thought i’d see a healthcare profesional asmr that is so accurate to the real-life nursing and medicine! from the therapeutic communication, to the techniques in doing the vitals, wound dressing, and medical examination! i’m almost convinced that latte has a background in the healthcare field! i loved this very much, thank you latte ☕️😴

All the more credit to her, a lot of people thought she was a professional because of how realistic her videos are. The fact that this is a ‘hobby’ of sorts somehow makes it better.
I recently have gotten into the ASMR thing, but this person is one of the most dedicated I have come across. The fact her set really looks truly like a doctor's office, with actual tools. I've seen a few other good ASMR artists do the doctor examination thing, but they use green screens, or, they'll have a real background but it genuinely doesn't feel like a doctor's office, to fit with the theme of the video. It'll be a table with like, a box of tissues, a lamp, etc. This is so immersive and realistic to give the viewers the true full experience. A+, bravo to you for going the extra mile for your subscribers. You are a true artist to put so much dedication into it being realistic. Also, not trying to tear down other ASMR creators or even the videos Latte does, but I like that she wasn't doing that thing that's common in ASMR, of staring into the camera and stroking/tapping objects while smiling. I'm glad that in this doctor style theme, she made it realistic. Doctors don't make eye contact and just tap and stroke stuff lol. I don't like the ASMR video artists that ONLY do that, and don't do more normal style of making soothing sounds.
And she definitely put a lot of time into researching this topic. I’m far from a medical professional but have at least done some learning on neuroanatomy, and I’ve realized the order in which she “performed” the tests corresponds to the functions of cranial nerve pairs ordered from 1-12. This very much shows that she had actually studied what each nerve/tract is responsible of and what happens when they malfunction, unlike many other asmr yters who obviously have no idea what they are “testing” on.
i love the fact that latte didn't use cotton balls to disinfect the wound, but gauze balls, because ive noticed in most nurse/doctor rps they use cotton to clean wounds which is a common mistake, as cotton fiber can get stuck in the wound and cause the wound to heal slower or even inflammation

My top 3 ASMRtists as well. But other goddesses of ASMR I'd recommend are JellyBeanGreen and Fairy Char. And of course ASMR Magic if you're into 'no talking'

She could work in a studio. I know a lot of Asian youtubers have a team and sets and whatnot. Her quality and professionalism makes me question whether she does this all alone. She is amazing!!

i was at the town hospital once and a guy came in from a motorcycle wreck, literally in a wheelchair, looking pretty beat up, and they legit made him wait out in the lobby. i'm so done with this place.
Same! I went to the ER once because I sprained my ankle, which I was fine with waiting and they gave me ice and wrapped it until I got an X-ray just in case it was fractured. So far so good. THEN LITERALLY A TEEN (like 14 or something) CAME IN WITH AN OPEN WOUND ON HIS HAND AND WAS BLEEDING EVERYWHERE, and the nurses were like “here’s some rags. Put them in this plastic bag when they get too soaked with blood and we’ll dispose of em later.” 30 minutes later and he’s still waiting to be seen to see if he’d need stitches (and I’m not a professional but I’m pretty sure he did) Him and his mother literally got up and went to a different ER. AND HE WAS STILL STEADILY BLEEDING.

Not to be condescending, but whenever she makes little mistakes with her English, for me at least, it makes the video 10x more enjoyable, because it just makes her seem more human. When you get used to watching from the other side of the screen, it's nice to be reminded occasionally that these are people too. And if it takes falling off the ground to do that, I will gladly oblige. We love you Latte! Even if you occasionally mess up when speaking, you put so much time and effort into these videos that it's really the only thing I can find that isn't perfect. Keep it up

fun fact: Cranial nerve exams take about 5 mins... I went to one cuz i fell on my head (yes, same as the video), and the entire exam was super short, the fact that she can extend this by so long is an incredible feat
I love the fact that ASMR role-plays exist as a form of 'fantasy' (for lack of a better word), so that it's perfectly fine for us, even if they don't match reality. It really is a (very) creative art form! ASMRtists really are actual artists, in this very important sense, IMHO. Indeed, I hope (and I've seen this in several ASMRtists already, so in a sense my 'hope' is already reality) that ASMRtists embrace the freedom that recognizing ASMR videos as a form of fantasy/art allows them. I can't even imagine what fun new ideas people will have come up with in 5, 10, or 20 years from now: From new, experimental ideas -- like how Jazz and Hip Hop and Rock and Roll and other forms of music have arisen over the years in music -- to new little twists on 'old classics', like the 'classic cranial nerve exam' will surely be in 20 years (heck, it's already a 'classic' even now, IMHO 😅).

I recently have gotten into the ASMR thing, but this person is one of the most dedicated I have come across. The fact her set really looks truly like a doctor's office, with actual tools.
I've seen a few other good ASMR artists do the doctor examination thing, but they use green screens, or, they'll have a real background but it genuinely doesn't feel like a doctor's office, to fit with the theme of the video. It'll be a table with like, a box of tissues, a lamp, etc. This is so immersive and realistic to give the viewers the true full experience.
A+, bravo to you for going the extra mile for your subscribers. You are a true artist to put so much dedication into it being realistic.
Also, not trying to tear down other ASMR creators or even the videos Latte does, but I like that she wasn't doing that thing that's common in ASMR, of staring into the camera and stroking/tapping objects while smiling. I'm glad that in this doctor style theme, she made it realistic. Doctors don't make eye contact and just tap and stroke stuff lol.
I don't like the ASMR video artists that ONLY do that, and don't do more normal style of making soothing sounds.

I’m far from a medical professional but have at least done some learning on neuroanatomy, and I’ve realized the order in which she “performed” the tests corresponds to the functions of cranial nerve pairs ordered from 1-12. This very much shows that she had actually studied what each nerve/tract is responsible of and what happens when they malfunction, unlike many other asmr yters who obviously have no idea what they are “testing” on.
i love the fact that latte didn't use cotton balls to disinfect the wound, but gauze balls, because ive noticed in most nurse/doctor rps they use cotton to clean wounds which is a common mistake, as cotton fiber can get stuck in the wound and cause the wound to heal slower or even inflammation

i was at the town hospital once and a guy came in from a motorcycle wreck, literally in a wheelchair, looking pretty beat up, and they legit made him wait out in the lobby. i'm so done with this place.
Same! I went to the ER once because I sprained my ankle, which I was fine with waiting and they gave me ice and wrapped it until I got an X-ray just in case it was fractured. So far so good. THEN LITERALLY A TEEN (like 14 or something) CAME IN WITH AN OPEN WOUND ON HIS HAND AND WAS BLEEDING EVERYWHERE, and the nurses were like “here’s some rags. Put them in this plastic bag when they get too soaked with blood and we’ll dispose of em later.” 30 minutes later and he’s still waiting to be seen to see if he’d need stitches (and I’m not a professional but I’m pretty sure he did) Him and his mother literally got up and went to a different ER. AND HE WAS STILL STEADILY BLEEDING.

Not to be condescending, but whenever she makes little mistakes with her English, for me at least, it makes the video 10x more enjoyable, because it just makes her seem more human. When you get used to watching from the other side of the screen, it's nice to be reminded occasionally that these are people too. And if it takes falling off the ground to do that, I will gladly oblige.
We love you Latte! Even if you occasionally mess up when speaking, you put so much time and effort into these videos that it's really the only thing I can find that isn't perfect. Keep it up

fun fact: Cranial nerve exams take about 5 mins... I went to one cuz i fell on my head (yes, same as the video), and the entire exam was super short, the fact that she can extend this by so long is an incredible feat

I love the fact that ASMR role-plays exist as a form of 'fantasy' (for lack of a better word), so that it's perfectly fine for us, even if they don't match reality. It really is a (very) creative art form! ASMRtists really are actual artists, in this very important sense, IMHO.
Indeed, I hope (and I've seen this in several ASMRtists already, so in a sense my 'hope' is already reality) that ASMRtists embrace the freedom that recognizing ASMR videos as a form of fantasy/art allows them. I can't even imagine what fun new ideas people will have come up with in 5, 10, or 20 years from now: From new, experimental ideas -- like how Jazz and Hip Hop and Rock and Roll and other forms of music have arisen over the years in music -- to new little twists on 'old classics', like the 'classic cranial nerve exam' will surely be in 20 years (heck, it's already a 'classic' even now, IMHO 😅).
